I will just go and put my money on Manny here. He is the underdog but it doesn't matter. He wants to avenge his defeat to Floyd. And that will be enough for Manny to get motivated and train very hard for this fight.

If this fight will push through, that is enough that we can say that this a win for both of them because whether we like it or not they will profit from this fight even at their old age, i mean this rematch should have happen months after their first fight not at this stage of their career. But you have a point though that putting or destroying Floyd Mayweather's record may add more motivation for Manny Pacquiao to defeat Floyd but personally i think Manny will be having a hard time still because Floyd is as slick as ever and i would not be surprise if bookies will place Floyd as the favorite on this matchup.

I very much wish that the ending for this fight will be the fans will witness and declare that Pacman is the winner even if Floyd Gayweather is declared by the judges as the winner with a split decision! This will be the most victorious victory for Pacman! To win the hearts of the fans and remember him as the greatest of all time boxer. Greater than this Gayweather!

Yes, Manny is not 100% during the first fight as he had a shoulder injury. Although he did his best, but Floyd was on a defensive mode all throughout the fight and on his bike and never try to engage Manny.

But as what others might think, Floyd still had the best defense even at this age and he didn't have the damage that Manny has. Plus again, I'm talking about stamina and so Manny should fill his gas tank because he throws a lot of punches, so he should bring a lot of stamina so that he won't fade in the championship rounds.

This is going to be a good fight for him and to all of the fans that wants to see how he prove himself.

I am more eager to watch his match against Zambidis to see how he is doing. If he still has his speed, power and ring generalship, it will be two years since his last match against Gotti. With his match against Zambidis, we can assess his condition. Zambidis is not a boxer, but he was a great kickboxer during his reign.

I would not say that it's the knees, have you seen Manny's tree trunk calves? That could be his source of power. It could be that he is old if we are talking about him not having the gas tank anymore.

Or we an argue that Father time caught with every one, even the best of them. But if we compare Manny with some younger fighters right now, I think Manny might be 50% above them as he can bounce inside the ring and still have that fast hands.

There is no real build up to make people interested. Pacquiao looked unremarkable against a mediocre champion in his last fight. For his age it’s still a notable accomplishment, but nobody knows who Mario Barrios is. That doesn’t get casual fans excited. The one who told Ring magazine was the CEO of Manny Pacquiao Promotion Jas Mathur, so this info came from the camp of Manny Pacquaio but i have read an article that the camp of Mayweather will announce some updates of the fight in the next 48 hours and that would be the announcement that could make this fight legitimate.
