What is your impression about female gamblers?

If you lack emotional control then financial management is going to be very difficult for you, women find it more difficult to control their emotions that's the reason why they might end up making more mistakes than men. Although not every woman lacks emotional control but majority of them are this way. Most people see women that gamble as irresponsible but that's just a societal construct. Gambling is meant for  everyone both male and female so I don't really have any negative comments when I come across female gamblers.

In my opinion, gambling is gambling, it doesn't matter whether you are a man or a woman. Anyone can participate in gambling, there are no set rules, but currently the largest online gambling family is online, so both men and women gamble here. In the current position, there are a lot of women among those who gamble online, so we never discriminate between men and women when it comes to gambling. Have you encountered a female gambling addict? Do you think they have better financial management skills than men?

I have come across female gamblers but I don't think I have seen anyone of the sex being addicted because the few times I have experienced them betting I don't have a one on one encounter or spent time to keep them on track of detecting if they are addicted not because determining if someone is addicted can not be justified when you don't have their gambling records.
Though could have clue of them based on their curiosity about winning or chasing losts but I think they should be better financial management than men but what I know is that female vulnerable to addiction too. It an an individual journey.

The society we live and grow in have the picture of gamblers to be men and not women, so seeing a woman gambling becomes a thing of awkwardness to them. They believe generally that when men are transgressing and crossing limits in their financial management, women should be the one to call them back.

There is nothing wrong with the impression of women playing gambling, especially if they are addicted, maybe because they can't control themselves, about the impression there is no difference between women and men? If those conclusions are drawn from non-gamblers point of view, obviously they will say things that they don't know  well because they have no real experiences in gambling. They say things they don't understand well, and just happen to heard those negative words from those battling against gambling.

But if you take such opinions from a real gambler, equality is there. Both have the chances and opportunities to gamble, as long as they're aware how gambling works and they're responsible in gambling their funds.

I ask you: have you ever been to a casino? I don’t think so, because the question you’re asking suggests you haven’t. Anyway, if you look at the slot machines, women are more prevalent than men. If you go to the blackjack tables, it’s hard to find a six-seat table without at least one woman.

As I reflect on it while replying, I’d say it’s generally around a 60-40 split, with some variation either way, in a traditional games casino. Now, the one place where I consistently see fewer women (though there are still some) is poker.

When sports came into existence, society only associated men with sports, not women. With time, women began engaging in different sports, and most sports allowed women to participate. If women can engage in sports, there shouldn't be anything wrong to engage in gambling. In fact, the growth of women in gambling has increased in the last couple of years. I actually agree more with your last point of society looking different at women in terms of gambling but I see them not different from the men because same way we emotional women is same way there is for men I can categorically even say that there are many women who can handle periods of crisis more than most men, so gambling losses and profit is never gender based and isn’t discriminatory

Really I thought the game was played by both genders right from the start, although in most African countries women's participation in football games is not popular unless recently that we are now have various women football teams from Africa countries that are now winning championship 🏆 titles, so it is with individual exposure into gambling entirely, the growth an awareness is gradually spreading unlike in the past where it stereotype to be men thing alone.

I can't tell that female gamblers are better in managing their gambling finances because it boils down to their gambling experiences and how long they have been gambling in their life. But when greed develops in the gambler, men or women, that would lead to gambling addiction if left uncontrolled.

According to the reports that I have read online before, there are female gamblers but their percentage is slightly lesser than male gamblers. But females are humans also and they might be affected with the gambling dopamine effect that can lead to increase in risk tolerance.

I think it depends a lot on where do you live. Here in Brazil, gambling adiction affects both men and women and nobody considers thia "abnormal" when see them gambling, but on the contrary... there are women who spend much more money than mens

What I think is that there is still a lot of prejudice in some countries. There are places where women still struggle to do basic things like drive vehicles. But I also see that many people see women as having a greater sense of trust, as if they were responsible for maintaining order in a family. So when they see them gambling, they assume that they are either single or do not have a family.

I don't have a problem seeing female gamblers in the public. That is their decision so we can let them still playing gambling. I don't know what society will react but perhaps some will not like seeing that and will judging bad words. I have seen a core woman drunkard or even smokers all around, same thing with gambling, is not sex based as much as men can do so also the opposite sex we don't have gender separation in activities as regards to social habits, both the negatives and the positives, so we cnt say that gambling is a man thing that is a wrong assumption.

However, I have seen many people among my acquaintances who like to participate in lottery. In some cases, they also bet on online casino games. Gambling was seen as solely masculine game before now, women who gambled were seen as very daring and some men felt that such women cannot be submissive in a home because of their boldness. That narrative is changing we now see a few women that will walk into a bet shop to place bet and it's no longer a big deal like before although a few people still frown at them. I think the same about female gamblers as I do about male gamblers. Most people have high expectations and limited knowledge about gambling. I don't generalize... let me see how someone plays (male or female), and then I can say more.

It would be foolish to answer yes or no... I am sure there are women with better financial management skills than most men, and I am sure there are men who are better at that than most women. Let me see your records, and I will tell you which group you belong to...
