I do not think that there is a gender addiction in gambling. Both genders might end up engaging in bad habits of gambling and once the addiction sets in, it influences its judgment and responsibility irrespective of the identity of the individual. The case of the wife destroying the business of her husband is severe but such cases occur to men as well. Although it is argued that women can be more cautious and withdraw earlier, it is not always the case. Finally, gambling addiction is not a gender issue but a behavior and self-control issue of man.

I think female gambling influencers who are good at sports betting are very rare. Most of them just play slots. It benefits both sides the influencer and the casino. They help bring more attention and attract a bigger audience, which is great for the casino industry. But aside from looks, I think we should also judge them by their skills and actual results.

There is this general impression about gambling that if you tell anyone that you gamble the first thing that comes to their mind is addicted gambling and then they start throwing advice and all of that. But when people see a female gambler they act as though something is wrong with what they're seeing. And it seems to me like society has painted it that way that female aren't supposed to gamble or engage in things that are related to betting, and it's possible they see female gamblers as irresponsible people.
Personally I don't think gambling addiction has the slightest chance or getting into my life because I don't see gamble like the way those addicts sees it besides I don't gamble always.
So this draws me to my question, what do you think about female gamblers? Have you encountered a female gambling addict? Do you think they have better financial management skills than men?

Why will you even expose yourself in the first place? There's no need letting anyone no about your activities, especially gambling because they are always infund of calling gamblers names that is exactly why we don't need bother ourselves when gambling as long as you are gambling responsibly with the amount that wouldn't affect you there's nothing concerned anyone else. Men too can also lose money if they do not have sound fundamentals in money management. Surprisingly, studies have shown that women are better at managing money than men, while men are only better at taking more financial risks.

Women are not believed to be involved in high-risk activities like men. That is why gambling is often condemned for women, not necessarily because of financial management skills. Our society has made us see female gamblers in a certain way. I used to think that way too, but now I gamble and see it as just another fun activity. I am still that responsible young woman. Aside from that, you cannot get the actual statistics of females who are gambling as an overall. Maybe you can only try to get the statistics of the gender of each gambling company and I don’t know if such information are available in the internet.

Let’s not also forget that there are lone gamblers who engage in gambling without sharing it with others and women are known for such habits of gambling without necessarily broadcasting it. So, we really cannot say anything much about the ratio of women to men who are gambling.

That is right. The report will be on the gambling company sides. If they are strict with the rules, they will asks gamblers identity so they will know how many female playing gambling on their casino. If you gets the actual statistic of females who are gambling from the internet, that maybe not for total numbers. Maybe that will an average that represent the total numbers.

If female playing gambling at their home, that is difficult knowing the real numbers of them. They can hiding their identity and not playing gambling too often to avoids the bad things happens to them.

You just made a point I may have missed and this is where the risk factor for women comes in. It is believed generally that women are too emotional which is not suitable for a game like gambling. This should be where the fears about women gambling started from.  They could get so emotional and start chasing losses, transfer aggressions to their spouse when they lose and probably avoid their duties of taking care of the home as most cultures demand from women.  Reason men consider them irresponsible? Maybe, maybe not.

The general saying that women are emotional beings is the stereotype that has shaped this impression about female gamblers. As far as I know, gambling is emotional for everyone. Discipline still remains the core value for responsible gambling lifestyle.
