I want to know from your real experience, do you keep a separate gambling budget? Or do you manage everything together?

Separate budget for gambling doesn’t really guarantee that someone will gamble responsibly. In the end, it all comes down to having the right mindset and strong self control, seeing gambling not as a way to make money but simply as a form of entertainment. With that kind of mindset, a gambler wouldn’t necessarily need to separate a special budget for gambling because they already know how much is reasonable to bet.

Over the years, I've learned to budget my earnings on gambling. I understand how much I earn at work each month, and I won't spend more than 10% of that on gambling. Of course, I might win, but I plan to save that money for next month. I understand that gambling requires professionalism to make money, and I haven't managed that yet, but I also don't plan to exceed the amount I'll lose, for example, about 20% of my monthly salary. For now, I have to hope that I can earn more money at work, and then I'll be able to afford to spend more on gambling if necessary.

Just small gambler's like yourself may easily manage your gambling spending even without need to jee tap of how much and how many times you deposit into your gambling account, this is very easy to keep and as long as you can manually handle your gambling limits and control your deposits and withdrawal point, you are good to go, but the moment you become so much into gambling like having a set target winning at that time you must start keeping records in other not to forget.

As for me, I don’t always separate my gambling budget from my other budget. I usually leave them in the same account, and that has not made me gamble more than I can afford to lose. I have been doing this for some years now.My budget amount is always determined at the very end of the month. Even though I have ways of getting money weekly and daily, when the end of the month comes, I calculate my total income and set aside 5% of my monthly income for gambling. OP, as far as I am concerned, I have a gambling budget which I play with. I have never gone online to play a game without having my own budget because that serves as my guide when playing, to not go beyond my limitations. Basically, those who can stop themselves properly at such times are the ones who can finally enjoy the wins. Everyone has a different confidence after winning, they think that such wins will keep coming if they keep playing more. But this is the biggest mistake, those who can stop themselves at such times are the real responsible and realistic gamblers, but those who keep playing more are thinking completely unrealistically and they keep playing to give their winnings back to the house.

We all understand how important budgeting can be including gambling, when you make budget for gambling, you already guard yourself against unnecessary spending, you can give account of how much you spend daily, weekly or even monthly, but without making budget, you find out that you may be spending much money on gambling just because you have no track record.

Yeah that is how it is supposed to be..  If there is a big win, pull out once. Simple. Call it what it is “luck” and secure it.. Don’t make mistake of thinking the win will continue, because everything can literally go back to the house..

Although to have a separate gambling budget will make you not to over gamble which is the main idea, so that if you exhaust it you don't continue gambling until next budget but the question is how many gamblers have that controlled emotion to discontinue when they have lost out on their gambling budget? It is necessary and needful as it makes you conscious of your gambling habit. However, I believe it is the committed gamblers that will make budget for it because where your mind is, your interest also will be there and you want to know how much invested there. I don't make separate budget for gambling because I'm not a huge gambler, I gamble as I can afford but it is risky not to make such budget because you will over gamble sometimes.

You are right, normally that is how gambling is supposed to be played, that is to say that people should gamble within their budget and do what its right, so that they won't encounter any consequences of irresponsible gambling. But most gamblers are finding it hard to stay strick to the rules of gambling for the sake of their mental health, which is literally causing them more damage to their achievements or plans, that is why people so be careful and cautious when dealing with gambling.

Sure gambling has potentials of good returns, but those good returns are not just guaranteed, and that’s why we can’t afford to pursue it or keep it in mind when we wanna gamble. But keeping a separate fund for gambling isn’t really bad though, but this is for people who actually like to gamble at least every week, not for people who only do it once in awhile. Presently, I fall into the once in a while kinda gamblers now, unlike before that I like to gamble at least 4 to 5 times in a week.

Imagine you have a salary of $1000 in the real world. You would then deposit your entire $1000 salary into an online casino. You would have to meet the 1x wagering requirement if you wanted to withdraw. What would be the probability of you playing and winning $1000 to be able to withdraw and pay bills in the real world? I think that's why everyone needs to separate money for each thing they intend to do.
