Having separate funds for gambling means that I am gambling every time, but judging with the way I gamble, I don't think that's all necessary because of the way I gamble "gamble when I feel like" not all the time. I can bring out little money, to gamble only for today. When I will like to gamble next, may be 2-3 days

Bruh, I feel the reason for that separate funds is that, it give you that boundary around your finance.. how you do your own may work for you, but, you should as well know that not every one is discipline enough to maintain and manage to not use money that is not meant for gambling to gamble..
So what that separate funds does is that, it give that unset boundaries even before the person start staking games..

What I mean is, a gambler could get vengeful even if he keeps telling himself that he will only do it for entertainment, especially those who are playing slots games and casino games. Those types of gambling games can sometimes make a gambler irked, especially if a losing streak comes, which will make them feel cheated. Revenge will come next, thinking he was not treated fairly, and so he will deposit again until he gets what he wanted.

Everyone might have their own way of managing their finances or making sure that they don't cross a certain limit but without setting a budget it might be difficult to maintain boundaries. For some gamblers this isn't necessary because that's not what works for them, it's all about doing what's convenient for you and what helps.

Once a time, I used to keep all my money in one account. All kinds of bills, daily expenses and I used to bet from there. One day I kept losing. Maybe my luck was not on my side that day. I kept transferring money from my account to the casino account again and again and kept losing. I kept losing more to get back that lost money. I often spent the money I needed to bet. I didn't realize it at the time of betting. But later when I realized it, it was too late. But still I was able to get myself out of that situation. It is safe for gamblers to set up limitation and create separate gambling accounts. If someone puts all their money in one account and bets, then there is high risk. Up until this year, I wasn't doing any kind of budgeting for my sportsbetting. I mostly just use random amount to gamble. The exact amount is largely dependent on pure vibes. However, I got to a point where I came to the understanding that I have to make a gambling budget as well as a fixed amount that I would use for my gambling. As a gambler and you want to be successful in your daily life, it is better to have a budget so that you don't encroach the money made for other personal expenses because their are some gamblers that don't map out their plan and allocate a specific amount to gambling to reduce the risk spending all funds in gambling.

And who says that the boundry which has been set will be respected and the gambler will actually stop gambling after they lose what they had separated? There is absolutely no guarantee for that, because it all depends on how much self-control a person has, separating funds or deciding a budget won't stop someone from excessive gambling, because as long as they know they have funds somewhere else, they will use it if they don't have control over themselves, because as an impatient and irresponsible gambler, you won't be able to stop once you lose some money because you now want to recover what has been lost.

So we have to understand that staying disciplined and becoming a responsible gambler is only possible if the gambler actually has a patient nature, because if someone is not patient by nature, they are not going to be able to stop when they should, and even if they have separate funds for gambling, or only keep a small budget for it, they will eventually deposit and lose money from everything they have it as long as they have access to it. An irresponsible gambler can only be stopped if their access to money is ceased.

Indeed it can become irrelevant when you gamble not for the money but for fun. Not having to budget on just how much you are willing to lose or gamble with often comes to be irrelevant given that, someone who has decided to gamble for the fun of it, would often turn out to be that individual that already has a predetermined amount to gamble with. Once that money is gone, they withdraw and let others keep the game active.

If gambling is for fun, I don't think it should be taken so serious that a money will be kept aside for it,
Although if you notice that you are spending too much in gambling then that is a clear sign of you approaching addition,

So it will be better you accept it and start keeping money aside, but if you take it for fun as you say I don't think it will be a financial issue for you.
No matter what it is, if something meant for fun is starting to drain you money that I think you have started to get addicted to it.

I personally don't keep any budget for gambling, its such a small percentage of anything I make that its basically not even worth keeping track. The small bets that I do make are usually via some form of scratch off tickets that ultimately I pay for with found change from coin star machines lol. When I do gamble with bitcoin though its different, but even then its such a small amount and basically came from a source of earned income that I don't really need to keep track because its not coming out of any primary source of income for me.

Best thing is not to keep anything, it's not that it's bad, but there's nothing that you can make a ledger of your gambling and how much you lose or win. It will just complicate things on your side, or put some mental pressure on you when you see how much you lost already.

And I haven't met a gambler that do this tabs, even normal or addicted ones. For us, as long as we can all live with the amount of losses we incurred let's say in year, I think we will all be good. So basically, it's not that important to have some sort of budget although for most of us, we might have a mental picture already and that is enough.

It is a good idea though to keep separate funds for gambling. However I haven't tried it ,  this will help those gambler's that find it difficult to keep up to there gambling limits that they have set for themselves.
It will avoid chasing after losses during gambling and using money that is meant for other purposes for gambling will be avoided also. Infact this is good for responsible gambling.

I support this argument since failure to monitor gambling funds is where most of the evils start to take root even among individuals who engage in gambling as a means of entertainment. In my observation, having a gambling budget is a big difference in remaining disciplined. This will allow the funds to be lost in daily spending and fail to notice until the limits are crossed and losses are pursued. Keeping money aside also allows you to be in control and avoid spending the money allocated to fulfill other needs. It also changes your thinking making gambling an entertainment not a business, which helps to act more responsibly in general.

Gambling for fun doesn't mean you don't have to plan your finances by having budgets. Gambling for fun simply means you don't have anything attached to making money from gambling by all means.

And gambling for fun also means you understand what gambling is all about and you stick to your limits. It is impossible to gamble for fun while you don't even understand gambling, and because you gamble for fun, you just need to play as you like, gambling without limits. This is no longer gambling for fun; you only gamble because of the passion for the money involved, which you want to have by all means.
