The purpose of having a limited budget for gambling is to demonstrate a kind of responsibility and discipline.

And that's the best thing to think about because I have had bad experiences from not having that control. I've spent money, money I shouldn't have, and then I had to do a lot of things to get my life back on track these things should be done to avoid those problems, and it's something that should always be done otherwise, we would be out of control financially that's why we have to be very responsible people before going to a casino.

A considerable Gambler will understand the need to why issue have a budgeting plan in gambling, because we may not be interested in saying ourselves going into unwanted situations beyond our control, every Gambler has to be raised possible for what he is doing and also have a focus towards what is expecting of from gambling, this will make our goals realizable and also achieve every target we wanted from gambling when we plan and budget well ahead of time.

You are right, there is no standard system to that can work for everyone yo avoid falling into gambling addiction, it is actually more of a personal decision that the gambler makes. Some gamblers can decide can decide to quit gambling for a month or two but this doesn't mean that it ultimately makes them avoid getting addicted to gambling, perhaps for them they might require a longer period of time to avoid or stop getting addicted.

Personally, I don't see anything wrong with keeping a portion of your funds in your gaming account. Of course, it's only a small amount, enough for 2-3 gaming sessions and no more. If you win, the money is immediately withdrawn. As for a savings account, I don't think anyone does that. Sometimes, excitement can ruin a player's plans.

In fact, this is exactly how it works. You have a main bankroll that you keep in your wallet. A portion of this bankroll is transferred to the casino as a deposit, which you use for playing. This way, you always have a deposit in the casino for gameplay, and your main bankroll remains in your wallet, fully under your control. If you win, you withdraw your profits from the deposit back to your wallet, increasing your bankroll. If you lose the deposit, you transfer money from your wallet back to the deposit.

Not having a separate gambling budget is just plain stupid. It doesn't matter if you are gambling "for fun" or "for profits"(in most cases, the people are gambling for both fun and profits). Having a separate gambling budget is non-negotiable. I wouldn't waste my "grocery money" at the casino/sportsbook. How am I going to survive and what am I going to eat, if I spend my food money for gambling.
Taking care of your daily expenses is the most basic stuff in your personal finance. The kids at school should be taught about how to manage their personal finance.

Even if you have a limited budget for gambling, it can still be harmful to you simply because of the lack of control. You are allocating a limited budget for gambling, but if you cannot control your emotions, you will continue to exceed that budget. You cannot get rich through gambling, but almost all of us who gamble expect to win a lot. Gambling with control is possible if you can control your emotions as well as allocate a budget.

There are gamblers who are active in gambling, in other we words we can call them professional gamblers who gambles more than every other gamblers but that doesn’t mean they’re addicts though. These are the set of gamblers who needs budgeting more than regular gamblers who only gambles when they feel the need to, just like you. Budgeting is essential even for regular gamblers. You don need to be a professional gambler first before you adopt the act of budgeting. If I interpret correctly this is not about keeping savings for gambling as it's  quite different from that pattern of savings for investment. It's synonymous to a gambling bankroll where you take out the exact amount you wants to spend for your gambling and using that particular amount so you don't encroach into your total funds that wasn't particularly meant for gambling. I know some gamblers that do this and it has helped them stay off from trespassing into their general funds and they haven't being addicted because where the money finishes is where they stop for day or week.

Exactly, getting that understanding that losing is part of gambling and chasing after it leads one in making mistakes that will ruined their lives and can even affect their finances and their loved ones. That is why they are to accept that gambling is just a game of fun, having this awareness and staying disciplined to  take gambling as a fun game, the better for them, as it will help and support them to prevent the mistakes or decision that will damage their plans and their emotions as well.

Gambling should never be  use as an alternative to make money, that is why people are to separate their savings money from the one they want to use for gambling. Those who manage all their money together in a particular wallet for betting and trading tend to lose more because they spend beyond budget if they even have budget at all, even though some persons claim they bet for fun and not profit. It's pertinent to have a budget or bankroll so one can manage their gambling habits in other not to be addicted to it or spend recklessly. But in as much as we are gambling and expecting to win, we shouldn't also forget that we will loose because without loosing gambling won't be complete so we should bear at the back of our minds that we will always encounter loosing at times.

Gambling is not an investment and as such people should not be budgeting money for it, they can either keep a little amount of money for it because it's not a business that should be invested in as we are open to loses at all times. While gambling I do separate my money from gambling money so I don't extend my hand to the one that I had saved for something else.

I personally don't keep any budget for gambling, its such a small percentage of anything I make that its basically not even worth keeping track. The small bets that I do make are usually via some form of scratch off tickets that ultimately I pay for with found change from coin star machines lol. When I do gamble with bitcoin though its different, but even then its such a small amount and basically came from a source of earned income that I don't really need to keep track because its not coming out of any primary source of income for me.

Thats the most important thing is that you are just that spending into the amount that you can afford to lose, or something an amount that wont be affecting on paying up your bills or totally on your expenses or life savings and thats something that you do need up to look upon. Budgeting is also that having the control because you had allocated an amount on which is intended for the sake of gambling. Although there are gamblers who arent putting up some fixed budget but they are already that making use of some extra funds on which they are spending it out and thats the important thing rather than on spending but you werent aware on how much you've been spending and later on you have been able to spend up into the amount which is allocated or for your expenses then this is where shit things happen. Its on someones decision on how you would making use of your money and we do have our own priorities in life specially on spending into our family and other stuffs. Gambling is just that for fun and entertainment and its not something that you do need up to spend up tons on it.

Yeah honestly I probably should still keep track just so I know what I am spending on an annual basis, maybe its not so small as I think it is but as of right now I haven't noticed it causing any harm and its not disrupting any bills or home life so I think that I am in the clear. But one thing I want to be sure of is that I don't spend more than what I am comfortable with losing. Honestly i'm not comfortable with losing much and I can never bring myself to put up consistent amounts of cash toward gambling activities but I do like the "once in a while" gamble.
