Power is sweet, and the old people love to be in power, but one thing I know about the young people these days is that they are not willing to fight for power and take it from the old leaders.

The young people are not even interested in leadership; they just live as if they are less concerned about what is going on in society. If the young people want to take leadership for themselves, I think they will succeed because whatever is the right thing in society, if you fight hard to get it, you will definitely succeed.

And those who've attempted have lost their lives and humanity in the process. These oldies treat this power and government position like some family household stuff. They should at least know it's not but a privilege to lead the country.

I know a close friend attempting to to swing that way and he has been left frustrated on multiple occasions. I don't think I'm one of them though scared of going for what I want. My African heros showed enough strength and courage for me to be or express such cowardice.

The leadership of nations are controlled by the old people, and the reason is that they have a lot of experience that the young people don’t have, and they have been in politics for a very long time and they have a lot of supporters who we always vote for them. These old people are more richer than a young people and so they use everything possible to make sure that they get into power. Youth are not giving chance to lead nations because this old people are not giving them the chance and that is the reason why some countries are backward today, however I’m not saying this affect every country. There are some countries that allow the young people to lead but some countries don’t allow young people to lead which is very bad.

What kind of experience do the old wicked leaders of our generation have that the youths don't have apart from the once introduced to kill and destroy the lifes of innocent citizens all because of there selfish interest.  Sorry to say this, I think you need to think off a myopic perspective because if not for that one sided thinking you won't use experience as a criteria used in electing the old wicked set of people in office.
Looking at the crumbled economy all over the world you can be able to understand that it is literally caused by the wickedness that lives in the heart of this same old leaders who's interest is only in making profit and not putting things right in the country.

Like they always says that youth are the leaders of tomorrow yet the old men and women don't want to give chance to these popular saying that i have been hearing from the days of childhood, you will see a country or state that the leaders that is govering those countries or states is just moving in a cycle or will i say that the leadership is on base on rotation from one old man to another,

Leaders they meant does not only concern the president of a nation but are people who are grown to be successful because if being a president is what they saying then how would the millions of youth become a president at a time considering the ruling method of every country. A leader cannot only be found in politics or in government because in anywhere you have people that look up to you or depend on you is also a leading role you are performing but if some persons found there careers in politics and got a leadership positions then is were destiny took them.

most governments don’t just consist of a president. a vice president is also a leader. mayors, governors are leaders of their region as well. it’s true that our youth is the new leaders and time will come that it’s their turn to navigate the world without any guidance

Politics has changed all over the world and it's affecting mostly the young Youths who have been denied of involving in the government and using there young blood and initiative to help in the government.
Some years ago we where told that children are the leaders of tomorrow and this was the motivation for young people to go to school and a lot of Young people started entering into politics, but even with the involvement of this young people in the government, many have not been given the opportunity to express there young vibrant strength and knowledge with the recent innovation build resources, empowering people, and also to improve the quality of life style.

For me i see that the only way young men can be a leader in the lesser position in government of tomorrow like they said youths are the leaders of tomorrow is by establishing themselves individually that if they come out to contest for any position in the government, they might consider to winning and the position that our youths might be occupying a lesser position the government without the country knowing that as the world is becoming global every day that will need a vibrant and digital, to be able to see what the society needs and work towards it, and one thing about those old man that has not retired from contesting for a position in the government will not understand the pains of being poor because most of them came from a rich home, once you are poor and God elevate you, such person will always remember the poor because he has been in such situation before and because of the pains the poor Masses are going through daily he will never back them when the society needs him, so these of leadership of tomorrow said by out parents and teachers are not coming to pass and yet they keep telling us that till now.

The youth are in so much danger in life, trying to start up their life in politics is very risky except there is someone with a stronger power backing you up. Many have lost their lives supporting the old leaders in the country, losing your life fighting for the youth to rule is better than fighting for the leaders who dont have us in their heart.

I also know of a colleague in college that year, he played college politics and attempted to play politics in the country. His life was cut short by the way, so much tragedy to bear.

This should be a typical Nigeria political structure been mentioned here. Even if its not Nigeria then it must be a typical African Natuon as this is most common in African countries more. I know even if American countries have some old men they obviosely khow what they are doing. I don't think there are still youths that are still depending on government before they can become who they want to become in the society because there are some that have skills to create jobs and other things that will make them to become a leader in that organization, if you have the ability to control your workers in that organization it will definitely going to spread across the country because human beings are the ones spreading information about good people and bad people, do you think power will remain in those men hands forever? A digital president? By that do you mean being ruled or governed by Ai? That's a human role and not something entrusted to Ai. Your opinion is valid though because we live in a country that has a failed system of government. The correct statement should be;
Children are leaders of tomorrow;
While youths should be the leaders of today
And elders should be advisers.

But in the typical African settings, presidents are 85 to 92 years and still in the office make decisions that will affect millions of people in the country.
So, when next they tell you that you are the leader of tomorrow, just insist that you will lead today.

For me I will say that the issue is not that the youth don't care, rather they're being discouraged and there are also lack of opportunity for them and this makes them slow down. You see if the system isn't open for them they will only focus on how to  survive first. And when this set of people like the actors, actresses, successful businessmen mentioned above eventually gets into power they turned something else. Most countries even the so called actors and actresses including successful businessmen can’t get into power without those old politicians who refused to leave the game, they still influence election results to favor those they want so that they In turn can still have control and a say in the Government and they can’t take any decision without the old politicians who brought them into power. I was nursery school when our teacher thought us that son, up till date those old men has refused to hand over to the youths this old men are ruling us with their weak brains. At times i reason if God selected all the old evil men and send them to this country of ours. Imagine who's ruling Senegal as a president he's just 46years old, but in this country the old men doesn't want the youths to rule over them but i believe one day revolution will take place.

One of the reasons for the hatred on youths is mainly because they believe the youths has to complete potentials to deprive them access to all and make them pay foe there weakness.  The leadership structures of all nations in the world never gives youths access to have full dominion except for those youths that took it by force. Looking at the way things are meant to be, you will realise that all are equal and deserve same right as the older once but now power is limited to the older ones become of fear as they know they will lose all if that chance is given to the youths.
