What happened::
I have been an active player on DuckDice for more than four years. I hold VIP status and rank among the top 50 players by valid betting volume. In this month’s Monthly Contest, I am still on the betting leaderboard. As one of the relatively few sports betting players on DuckDice, I feel that I have been treated unfairly.
A few days ago, I learned about another website, Tower.bet, through DuckDice. The interface looked somewhat similar. After consulting with customer support, I decided to try this DuckDice-recommended site. I registered an account on Tower.bet and started betting. I successfully won about 3,500 USDT and was able to withdraw most of it.
However, when I attempted to withdraw the remaining 217 USDT, my withdrawal was rejected and I was asked to complete KYC Level 3 verification.
I had previously encountered a similar KYC3 request on DuckDice and had already reached a resolution with the admin at that time. I personally find KYC3 excessively intrusive to my privacy. Therefore, I asked Tower.bet support whether a similar arrangement could be made. After reviewing my account, their support suddenly claimed that the sports provider had flagged my account and immediately banned me.
The message I received was:
“Your account has been banned as a result of a report from our sports provider. This report points out behaviors commonly linked to violations of sportsbook rules, such as arbitrage betting, misuse of bonuses, and other types of systematic exploitation. Please be aware that you are not eligible for a refund since your withdrawals have exceeded your deposits.”I was completely confused by this. So I came back to DuckDice support to ask what was going on, and only then did I realize it appears to be handled by the same support team, which makes me wonder whether the two platforms are related.
Finally, support told me that my account was banned because I was allegedly using a “
value betting strategy.” I do not understand this accusation, and no evidence has been provided. I even had to look up what value betting means.
Yes, I have been winning more over the past period (around 20k), but I do not believe that winning should be a reason to ban my account. Although my DuckDice account has not been banned, I now feel unsafe continuing to play because I am worried that any deposited funds could be confiscated without clear justification.
My main concern is this: the odds and matches are provided by your platform. How can simply placing bets be considered “value betting” in a way that violates rules? Is it fair to ban an account without providing any concrete evidence?
Most of my bets were on major events such as esports, the UEFA Champions League, and the NBA. Before this winning period, I had previously lost nearly 30k. Every win I achieved came with real risk. What I truly cannot understand is the claim that because my withdrawals exceeded my deposits, the remaining balance can be confiscated. Was this money not legitimately won?
At this point, it feels as though my DuckDice account remains open only because my total losses still exceed my winnings. This makes me worry that if I become more profitable, my account could also be banned.
I can accept being restricted from sports betting going forward if there are concerns — provided this is communicated clearly in advance. Like in a casino, this should be a two-way choice. However, banning accounts retroactively after players have already won creates the impression that the platform is not reliable.
I hope you can provide a clear explanation and review this situation fairly.
