Waiting for 5970 and 5870's miner version  Sad

Not sure if Claymore is willing to code for it or if he will.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Ok stats after 24hours: 1xpm(0.15 confirmed, 0.9 unconfirmed) about 10h 1xr9 270 + 14hours 2x r9 270. Very disappointing after seeing guys with 1x 280x getting 6xpm/day(and not satisfied Roll Eyes). Was hoping for at least 3xpm from my setup. Going to let this run for a few hours then off to something else. Too bad. Nice effort from dev nonetheless. Will try again when the new version gets released.

you need to leave it running for 24 hours straight. around the 24 hour mark is when i started to find 10ch 11ch and 1 12ch chains. these are the ones that payout more and they take longer to find. so leave it running for 24 hours without turning your cards off. this payout will be more accurate. im making about 1xpm per hour doing this

1xpm/h on what hardware?
2x r270 without stoping for the last 15hours....still...only found 5 9ch and 1 10ch shares. Doubt very much it will come close to being profitable.

The problem is that ypool says that the share last for 160 block...  well it doesn't seem to be the case, I found one 9ch this morning the graph shows a nice peak of 35share which stayed only 1 block (kind of unhappy with that...). Sometimes they last longer (but nowhere near 160block) sometimes they don't...

Have to wait until the next miner comes out.

Pool mining advantage is the frequent payments. Solo, you can get a full block to yourself. Many things determine which one is profitable by your equipment, network diff, luck factor and miner efficiency.

Within 24 hours I will release new version of my XPM GPU miner for ypool. Crazy speedup 50-60% on all cards. Up to 1.6 chains per day on a single 290X. Be ready Smiley

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.
