How much do you earn with a 280X card at current difficulty using v4.0 or v5.0 with ypool? I have two cards and I keep earning around 5-5.5 XPM a day wich is 2.5-2.7 XPM per card per day. The cards run at 1150 E / 1200 M. CPU usage is around 40 %.

I started mining on ypool with a 280x and a 270x 1.5 days ago and here are my 24h and 34h stats:

2* 7950 (1.5 est cpd) + 1 7870 (1.2 est cpd) solo minning and no block for 4.5 days, max Difficulty any of the card's reached 10.38 is this normal "bad luck" or am I jinxed?   Grin

Wallet starts at 10 connections reaches 15-16 and within 24 hours stabilises at 8. And then never increases this normal too?

I'd call it "bad luck". see my post 823: the slower GPU found 2 blocks within 34h while the faster GPU didn't find any blocks not even a 10 chain

New version with good speedup will be available in 1-2 days.

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.

Are curently solo or on ypool, what is the best long term choice in your opinion?

I'm on ypool. I can't say what the best option is. A pool will generate a daily/weekly income whether you find blocks or not. Solo mining generates only income when you find blocks and they are not orphaned.

I prefer to see coins coming to my wallet on a regular basis. In the very long term solo/poolmining will generate almost the same results. Solo is only interesting if you have a lot of hashing power. That's my opinion.

Do you need a separate worker for each GPU?

How can I check if they perform okay?I looked at the hash rate when I was using cgminer/sgminer now what should I check, I'm kinda new to Primecoin mining, thank you and sorry for my noobish questions.

Look at CPD (estimated chains per day). When you press "s" you can see the progress and how many 4- 7- 8- 9- 10- 11- 12- chains you found.

20x270X (4rig 5x270X) why such a large variation in the shares? The video card is not working properly?

Are this stats okay for 3xR9 280x and 1x7970?If not any tips to improve them? Can XMP miner be bottlenecked by my processor (AMD Sempron 145)?

I get 1.6 CPD with a r9 280x and 1 CPD with a r9 270x. Your CPU should not be loaded more than 80%.
I'm also new to this GPU miner and didn't try many settings yet. currently I run it in standard mode.

Hello guys! I'm new to xpm gpu mining and haven't read the whole thread yet, as I understood by this moment - this miner uses gpu memory somehow, right?
Is it worth it to drop/decrease gpu memory frequency?
Or just better to stay at default core/memory numbers and undervolt the core as possible for stable work?

May be this questions already has been asked, I promise I'll finish the threads reading)

Both memory and core clocks are important. But don't overclock too much, XPM miner uses complex algorithms so your cards may work with scrypt but fail with XPM at same clocks.

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.

Version 6.0 is available. +20% speed for all cards. Up to 3.6 CPD on a single 290X.

Well, there is definitely effectiveness improve with v6.0 compared to v5.0 (~18% less TRT values and ~20% more ch/h values for 7950).

The only thing is that my win7x64 became a bit laggy, even if active GPU (connected to monitor) is off, 4core cpu is only at about 10% of usage.
