v8 -> v9 power consumption jump Sad ~35%

How did you measure it?
What cards do you use?
I see much less jump, may be 5-10%.
It's my mistake, VGA wasn't downclock

Power consumption from wall.

I measured it on one of my rig, not new (old):
 - CPU: core2duo
 - Mem: DDR2 2Gb
 - PSU: Enermax 550W (old, even not bronze)
 - VGA: 2*XFX280X GPU/MEM:1030/1500 VCDD:1v

miner setting GPU 0/1:    -ss 1/2 -t default/8

Miner v2.0 375w
Miner v2.1 380w
Miner v3.0 405w
Miner v3.1b 410w
Miner v4.0 405w
Miner v5.0 400w
Miner v6.0 395w

I don't remember v7 and v8 power consumption
but I did last measurement
v9.1 460

That's getting a little high for wattage for the v9.1. Maybe try to underclock the memory and it shouldn't affect the cpd as long as the core clock isn't changed.

Claymore V9.1, Gigabyte board, AX860i PSU, Sempron 145 (unlocked - 2 cores operating), 8G RAM DDR3, 2 ASUS R290 GPU's ... some times it runs for 15 to 16 hours, sometimes 15 min ? AMD Name   AMD Radeon R9 200 Series

Adapter Description   AMD Radeon R9 200 Series
Adapter RAM   (1,048,576) bytes

Installed Drivers   aticfx64.dll,aticfx64.dll,aticfx64.dll,aticfx32,aticfx32,aticfx32,atiumd64.dll,atidxx64.dll,atidxx64.dll,atiumdag,atidxx32,atidxx32,atiumdva,atiumd6a.cap,atitmm64.dll

Any chance of seeing a diff 11 optimized miner soon? Finding a diff 10 share gives less than a 5% chance of actually being rewarded by the network now...

Question:

Any troubleshooting suggestions ?

Try to follow "troubleshooting" section in readme. If it does not help it means that probably your system is unstable for some reason. I have a few rigs based on 290 series cards and they all work properly, I test all versions on 290X cards mostly.

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.

I already have v9.1 for Diff 11, but it is slower than v9.1 for Diff 10 since it produces much less 10ch, so I decided not to release it right now. Version for Diff 11 will work faster at Diff 10.98-10.99, I will release it then.

Are you mining at overclock settings? If yes, then try default settings first. Check to make sure your power supply isn't having any issues. I had a burn/melted pci-e power connector gave me an issue on my Silverstone 1000 watt psu, which I replaced and don't have no issues with overclocking my core clock.

Why do you think that you are unlucky? You mine only for 28 minutes Smiley
With your 68 CPD you will find 4-5 blocks a day:

pretty much same results... ypool dominates the scene now...unless there's another viable pool i'm taking a break from mining primecoins for now...

im solo mining... making only 2 block per day (14.94 XPM including 10% claymore fees)

14.94 XPM x 0.001294 BTC = 0.01934 BTC/day (6 x GPU)

x11 mining = 0.02 BTC/day (6xGPU) 50% less energy consumption + 60°C stable temps with fan on my rig

Time to move on to X11.... good bye primecoin
