Now Bybit p2p scammers and Beggers are on the rise, the number is getting worse, you can't trade without someone begging for ₦500, it's not good for any business.

You hardly see a merchant(buyers) on Bybit that doesn't beg for money, they give you all sort of excuses to beg, excuses like Bybit charge them fee for been a buyer, they don't make enough profits from the business, they will just find an excuse to beg for money but there is a solution I have used and it has been working for me without any problem.

Trade only with automated traders

I have been using these merchants on Bybit for long but I didn't pay attention to them much until this year. This p2p traders are straightforward, they don't ask for fee, they will not ask for your number, some may ask in case you are not online and don’t release on time, they don't beg you for a cut. Their terms are crystal clear and once you read and agreed to it, your money is sent between the time of pasting the AUTHENTICATION code at instant, most are done within seconds.

How do you get them.

Their rates are fair and are the official price, they don't go below the daily price and don't go above, it's always in between.

Just make use of filters, input the amount of payment that you want and select payment method(Bank transfer) and you will see from their account.

They are verified with Block advertiser status in blue color, with institutios meaning they deal with large transactions everyday, instead to be doing transactions manually and be wasting time, they automated their payments so they can attend to plenty customers without wasting any time.

The payment came instantly and it was as agreed, they don't chat you to ask for fee or have time to be begging you for money, that's the best part of it.

Cases like this I don't even stress myself when it comes to sell, once I chart you and you asked me to drop down my phone number i will drop it for security purposes, but when it gets to the level of "Boss pls help me reduce price na, let's me pay so so amounts pls we aren't having enough profit anymore, pls consider me". I will just ask you to reject or cancel the order, expecialy when the buyer cut off like 1k or more, I got angry easily, if it's lesser amounts like 100 or 200 naira I can free you with that, moreover the best thing to do in order to avoid then, once you notice the buyer is a begger and you can't afford to loss the cut off from your payment, just ask him to cancel the order immediately simple.

I left Bybit a long time ago because f the level of scam there. I retraced to Bitget but it seems scammers from Bybit are already infiltrating Bitget and showing similar patterns in their activities. I think I've observed this automated bot of a thing before but didn't know the merchant was able to pay so fast, I observed it on Bitget, maybe I would watch to see if there is a badge difference as well. No matter the good rating and fast payment I experience, I always make sure never to trust any merchant, but verify my money is in my account before releasing the coins.

I don't chat much with them, When they persuade me, I only tell them that I would never release the coins unless they complete the pay and when they under pay me, I just go ahead and inform them of the shortage amount, while informing them that I would file an appeal at the end of the countdown if they have not completed my pay.

I cannot deny that in a good day and I'm in a happy mood, I can let go less than #500 for them just to spread love and happiness to them since we all are in the hustle.

We always have to take every step with caution to keep ourselves safe from all these scammers and beggars. We are the victims of such frauds because of our own mistakes. Currently, Bybit has improved their security a lot and Bybit has launched P2P AI assistant. If a beggar asks us for alms, then we can file a P2P Dispute/Appeal against him according to Bybit's rules. If that beggar has really treated you like this and if you are able to prove it, then you will be able to get your dollars or bitcoins back.

Always check and confirm the amount that, has been sent to you on your bank account because there are buys who intentionally will short pay you and pretend not to know, I have experience it they will definitely pay you in such a way that you will think that the amount on the Bybit app and the one sent to you are thesame because buyer will short pay you with just small fractions.


I will advise vigilant when ever you are about to engage in a transaction on the Bybit app because, buyers are ready to use your head and short pay you pretending not to know. This has become more of a norm with buyer who to me is playing Smart.

You can not completely avoid those beggers all the time except you know more than 5 seller that are using the automated bot, if you only know one seller who use automated bot, sometimes their price is usually so low compare to other ads you would see. I created a similar topic last month which all I wanted was to also bring about this information of trading with those sellers that automat their payment but the post got deleted for reasons best known to the moderator.

The merchant I traded with before I finally noticed the automated trading was whom I used as my reference on the post that got deleted just like you did. Although I later discovered more traders using this bot but they sometimes have zero ads or their price is lower, so I just go over to start looking for new merchants again.

Yeah, I've noticed these type of traders who inscribed themselves with institutions, mehn, they are very fast in their transactions. Sometimes I have question their reliable to be humans at all? Because once transaction is been placed, you'll just receive payment and order ready to be released.

One thing I keep observing from those scammers is that they have different strategies they are using to play investors. Sometimes you will not know that he is a scammer until you release your coins and receive fake alert immediately before you will realize that you are dealing with scammers, because they will change the discussion once they discovered that you have send the coins and they will begin to develop some attitude that will make you know that you are in the wrong dealer.

You can avoid them not to look for buyers that place a high price in their list because that is what they are using to attract seller, because they know that sellers will like to deal with someone that is buying with high price in the market.

Yeah, but somehow I think only checking out these trades would keep the smaller ones out of business pretty and they're all out there for the hustle. One thing I look out for the more is your completion rates and how long you take to complete payment and if it suits me, I patronize you. Some small traders may also automate their pays or are very fast with payment, make we no just dey look for big traders alone, there are still some smaller trades that have integrity. When I see those with near 100% completion rates, I instinctively know they may be honest at least after the price countdown and their price doesn't reduce.

I would say I'm fortunate enough to encounter quite a few beggars since I started p2p trading. If my memory serves me well, I think I have had just one experience, and when I got the message from the buyer, I didn't reply. After waiting for a while and no reply from me, he went ahead and paid me the exact money for the trade, and I released the coin.
