Both thinkers and doers must exist in all generations and both are important for any meaningful innovation. If thinkers are what I feel they are, then their role is indispensable because before ideas are brought to life, they are first conceived, medicated upon and they executed. Thinkers full into the category that conceive and meditate on the ideas while does fall into the category that bring those ideas into reality. Although I don't want to believe that thinkers in the contest of the OP mean procrastinators or lazy forks.

Why not in these trying times become a thinker and a doer?

That's an advantage for us when we're on the both side. We're thinking logically and trying to find solutions for the problems that we're dealing with.

And, we're doing what we've thought of and for us to make it easier to deal while helping ourselves to improve based on the situation that we're in. We might not be a leader but, we're doing it for our own survival.

As a man living in this part of world where I come from, you must be thinking and doing at same time. Some times it doesn't make sense but society believes a man should always be busy or look busy and that's why it's hard to make a proper distinction between the thinkers and doers.

Both qualities are important, but based on the description you provided about doers, I would say that a thinker would probably has a higher chance of surviving in the world for a longer time without facing much problems, because if you are someone who doesn't think before doing something, you will often face negative consequences for your actions. People often say that you have to take risks and then you can succeed, but they don't understand that even if you are taking a risk, it must not be a blind risk, which means that you should calculate the consequences of your actions and what you may get and what you may lose if you take that step, only then you should decide whether you should go for it or not.

I know that risk takers sometimes make it across and manage to succeed, but we know that this doesn't happen all the time. I am a doer, I prefer to think before doing it but I just don't keep thinking, as a thinker and I prefer to do it, I don't fear if it fails or not, I just do it, because we never know what the results are going to be. So why stress over making every step perfect, when that's not how everyone takes steps?

Look at the billionaires or people who have achieved big goals, how did they achieved that, they were the doer, that does not mean they did not thought, or analyzed or researched, they did everything bro, but they knew how to keep the balance so they thought and did and did not cared about every step or to do everything perfectly sometimes all it require from us to do it, perfection or thoughts even are not required.

Can we eliminate any one quality to implement a project? From my point of view, the answer is negative.

To start a project, you first have to be a thinker, otherwise your direction will not be created. Only a thinker can say when, how and where to do a task. In this case, to complete the project successfully, you have to be a thinker.
Then the time of implementation will come, you have to be a doer to implement the project. Otherwise, the project will be limited to planning, it will never be implemented. A thinker turns the plan into reality by a doer. On the other hand, a thinker creates the direction of a doer. Therefore, in project implementation, we must have both qualities, there is no need to choose a specific one.

I think today world are not shortage of thinkers and doers, we see many people has brilliant idea and many people who can execute their work perfectly. I think today world shortage of honest people and people who have moral courage and brave to speak in the name of truth.  I'm not downplaying the role of thinkers and doers but without integrity, both can use their ability to wrongdoing or choose wrong direction. I believe that putting everything in its place (right and wrong) is the solution to fixing all the chaos in this world. So the biggest challange in today world is developing people who are able to think clearly, act courageously, and maintain honesty.

We can train people to be good thinker with giving them a lot of valuable reading material, give them space for discussion, to broad their horizon and to practice their critical thingking skill. If they learn diligently, we have good thinker. Good doers also isn't uncommon either, with continuous practice, courage to try and little pressure, we can learn to act and take risk. But to be honest and has integrity very rare now, not everyone is willing to pay the price for remaining honest, especially when honesty can be detrimental to their own well being

I think both action and thinking are related to each other and must go hand in hand. If you are only thinking but not doing anything practical then its of no use, likewise if you are doing things without thinking or proper planning then you wont be able to get good results. So it's important to focus on both things to get good results, missing anyone of these will deprive you from wanted results. For instance, if someone want to become financially independent then he must first think about ways of getting that independence followed by practical steps for attainment of that independence.

You have to be a thinker and also a doer, many people have ruined their own lives because they only know how to talk about a good plan and they never work on them.

I have a friend who likes to do business, and yes, he feels challenged by having to try new things with the aim of starting a new business or developing the business he already runs. In addition, he is sometimes willing to take risks because he thinks it is fun for him, and even if he fails, he does not think of it as a defeat, but rather that he has to devise another strategy in order to win or succeed. As for myself, I tend to be more of a thinker, so I prefer to think things through first and consider the risks involved. However, even though I think this way, I believe that others also think about the steps they will take and the risks involved.

I believe that people aren't always divided into two groups. In reality we do change our behavior in response to the situation, Sometimes we think too much and sometimes we quickly make decisions when we see an opportunity. So what is required in the present world most is a learning mindset. If someone only thinks, it is difficult to move forward and if someone acts without thinking then mistakes are more likely. So thinking a little and then starting to do and learning the mistakes seems to be the most realistic method.

I think you need a bit of the two to survive in today's economy. It's believed that doers are the once that takes risk, without doing much of thinking,  but I totally disagree with that. I think doers take more risk and they also think, it just that they are willing to take the risk, but thinkers sometimes want it to be perfect before investing,  which I think their is no perfect investment,  because every investment has its advantages and disadvantages. So why I say you need to be a little of the both to survive,  you need to only take calculated risk in other to be on the safer side, because I don't think any one goes into an investment with the hope of not making profit.

Having a wide network is not the same as having a useful network. Some of the most networked people I've seen out there ended up getting burned the worst. They trusted quick, moved fast, built on vibes instead of judgment to make relationships. Extroversion can be a liability when you're more socially confident than discerning.

Thinking is discomforting (when it's honest). It forced you to face the fact that most things don't turn out a certain way no matter how thorough you are. If you end up feeling safe after your analysis has been completed, something went wrong somewhere in the process. Safety is not the result that serious thinking brings about. Clarity about risk is different, and less comforting.

Both types of personality have one flaw in common: a hatred of being wrong of equally and deeply equal measure. Thinkers hate it because they spent so long preparing for it and still failed. Doers hate it because they moved with such assurance and it still failed. That ego hit is the same for whichever personality you've signed up for.

The economy in this current moment is specifically designed to make both types fail in their characteristic way. Thinkers are paralyzed with the number of variables. Doers are getting their heads chopped off by volatility they misread as opportunity.

What survives this is something more uncomfortable to admit. It's a relationship with failure. How quickly can you take in being wrong, readjust and try again without running away or overcommitting in the other direction?

In my opinion, both have an important role. Doers are people who dare to take risks, adapt quickly, and have a wide network, this type of person can be a driver of change and innovation and can create new opportunities. Meanwhile, Thinkers are rational, logical, and thorough. They can help identify risks and develop more effective strategies. I think that in an economy like this, a combination of both is really needed, doers can help create momentum and innovation, while thinkers can help ensure the best decisions are made.
If I had to choose, I would choose to be in the doer position because it is more needed to survive in this world because it can adapt quickly and is able to create new opportunities, I also do not exclude the role of the Thinker because its role is also very important in making the right decisions.

Both are very important in my opinion and should be both mutually exclusive. Let's say Elon Musk, if he just think of this dream to be in Space and didn't do anything, then he won't be successful in my opinion. He needs to do something, what we all inspired action and we have seen this to almost billionaires or accomplished people. They really to have this two traits, not just to survived in the business that they are in, but to be the authority in it. And if we choose either of the two, our success with will be cap, unless you found a partner that will compliment you.

These is basically a comparison between thinkers and doers. But there is need for a clear conception of the ideas behind such comparison as both thinking and doing are two to tangle.
There are people who:
Do without thinking.
Think and do.
Think without doing.
Think more than they do.
Do more than they think.

All the class of persons pointed above explains how thinking and doing tangles at all time. One without the other is definitely incompetent and incomplete therefore can't give a good or great result and so there must be a balance for best outcomes. But the worst of it all are those who do without thinking and those who think without doing.
