What I said, a person becomes a thinker first and then becomes a doer, that is the ideal way to approach. But some might get stuck in the thinking phase unable to execute the decision. This needs some help from other people or their own self to push themselves forward.

If you do without thinking you will face a number of loopholes which you have to close early and take rash decisions, most of the time they will end up ugly.

It's certain that we will always have either sides and category of individuals, a leader and subordinate and then their manner of thinking and acting tends to be different as well but regardless in this context how then do we place this category of people. A thinker can as well be a doer in most circumstances so both are required to survive in the world.

I think the context of the OP here is that there's someone who thinks things through carefully, tries to minimize risks, and takes precautionary measures before starting a business. On the other hand, there's someone who takes action immediately and tries to learn from their experiences. I think both have a role to play in today's economy. Thinkers allow us to see possibilities that might otherwise have been invisible. And doers allow us to see how actions have a real impact. I personally tend to be very cautious about taking risks. Perhaps I tend to be a thinker. I try to eliminate all negative possibilities and consider several precautionary measures before starting a business. Yes, I can also be a doer, but that's only after I feel I can see things clearly.

Be fast in thinking but you have to be slow in acting because it is better not to miss an opportunity when listening or thinking of something while acting accordingly is more important and we can't rush into action like that without taking into consideration order things that might be at stake, all these should be inconsideration and we must know that the accuracy in doing things is more important as not been able to miss out any aspect of what ever is of concerned.

There are fast thinkers who start doing something as soon as they get the thought of it they also end up doing it better than those who will think about a particular thing for weeks before coming up to do it. You don't have to be slow to do what you think is right to do because while you waste time you may have other things coming across your mind that could make you stop acting on the first thing that comes to your mind. If you can do things well when you take long to think then you have to consider that before doing anything but if you think fast and do things well then you should choose what best works for you.

Being the both( a thinker and a doer) is best.. This is coz if folks are just thinkers who wait for the perfect and convenient moment to take an action, then they may end up never taking that action.. And also for someone who just jump into a decision without thinking things through may end up in much bigger problems... That's why folks really need to have the mixture of both and then develop on them if they are to thrive well in today's economy.. We all have the minds to think, so we should make use of it to understand probably whatever decision and action we want to take and then act quickly instead of just holding on for the most convenient time....

Actually the doers is needed to survive the economy, because they act fast take rational decision at any given time and succeed. They take risk without being over calculative as that might make them not achieve what they want. Like me, I have been able to achieve alot by initiating an idea and working towards it. And if I didn't do it as I thought about it, it will still have been an idea.  That's why they said action speaks louder than words. Those who keep procrastinating without action often don't have results do to their inaction. In conclusion doers are more productive than thinkers.

There are millions of people who are thinking big but they are not doing big because they are not taking any action and actiyis required to get success in life and if you will take action early in life there will be more chances of success in life . You should not lose your energy on bad things and should not involve in bad activity and should avoid people who are addicted . Always make a routine and follow that routine as you can and if you will follow it for Long term you will get high income job or you will generate good profit. Many people are doing their full effort in job but employers are not giving enough money to run the family which is required. If you will try more to do then there will be result.

Both can be needed here because thinking alone will not be enough to make us survive in the harsh life with the current economic conditions considering we need action to make the realization of what they think in the form of theory.

You're not wrong, but I've read somewhere, can't recall where, a saying that goes like 'Just do it' which suggests that sometimes we overthink before taking an action. No action is ever going to be perfect, and you will find ways to improve. Amazon was started as a bookstore and might not have been a perfect idea and someone with deep thinking would avoid executing on such a small idea but Jeff started and then adapted according to the problems and opportunities he saw.

So IMHO, it's always better to start than to think and wait until you have a flawless plan. But of course, you made a valid point that one must give some thought before doing it. It's just hard to realize when we are thinking, and it becomes overthinking.

The thinker means that the brain is working and the doer is the implementation of what is thought, but this is very important to have in any era because if you want to have good productivity you must have thoughts and also their implementation, if only the thinker is mostly theory and the plan is not a solution it will only waste time and we will not do anything if we only become thinkers without being doers, maybe only a consultant can do that, but consultants without experience are currently considered to lack credibility.

Thinkers or doers means there are some people who think and create new ideas and methods and there are some people who implement the work and take action. People who are thinkers also keep the loss in mind, they do not rush, they think about it if it is beneficial then they do it as soon as it is going to be beneficial. They check the market before starting a business and those who are action take action quickly and start the work without thinking about the loss. It is not that there will be loss in it. both works are needed in life. Thinking alone does not work and acting without thinking can also prove to be harmful. Therefore wise people are those who first think correctly and then act on it.

In own perspective,both thinkers and doers play significant roles in our contemporary society.I think I’m both a thinker and a doer,reason is because I don’t just do things without considering the advantages and disadvantages of what I’m about doing,after thinking and there’s a positivity of good outcomes I would proceed into taking the next step by taking action.Thinkers are most times referred to as silent achievers in the society today,they don’t make noise or boast of their achievements rather their achievements speaks on their behave.

It's better to get things done than to spend all your life thinking without executing the ideas that you have in your head but on a light note, there is no doer without first being a thinking, it's as easy as that. That means we cannot also underage the importance of thinking and birthing new idea than can  shape lifes or the future. Some people take credit for other people's knowledge because they had the platform to execute those idea and that is why it's also good to work with smart or ambitious people. However irrespective of having a good problem solving mind without execution such person would die a mediocre, a lot of people fear to fail and that's why they remain at their position.

I wouldn't separate people on thinkers and doers, as every person has some characteristics of both, but in different ratios.

That said I think that the best is to be thinker AND a doer, in other words it is the best to be a doer who thinks before he acts.

I'm more on the doer side but wish I were a good thinker. You need a balance between both to survive because doing without thinking can be disastrous, and thinking great things but doing nothing is nothing but intellectual entertainment.

Jumping into things too quickly has actually given me massive losses but then some decisions have gone well too, so perhaps I could have been more measured with what to do and what not to do, but no regrets, it's all part of the learning process. I think once you realize what you don't need to do, things become easier. You have 24 hours and if you surround yourselves with things that should have been skipped, you will have regrets when you reflect years later.

Thinking is a primary tool in any project. In fact, thinking can be considered another name for planning which plays a vital role in managing things effectively. However, maturity and experience matter a lot for better planning. If someone makes a decision but has zero experience, I do not think their planning will work effectively.
Therefore, for good planning observation analysis and experience are key factors. Thinking alone is not enough. After thinking, the role of a doer begins.
We often see many successful businessmen around us who do not take immediate action based only on their thoughts. Instead, they spend time observing learning  and gaining experience before working on their plans. By adopting this method the chances of loss are reduced.
