my advice to every gambler is to gamble with strategies, because if you don't gamble with strategies the gambler may ends regretting, because gambling is not certain, if we allow our selfish interest to take us away from knowing the implications or disadvantage of gambling, at the end we shall regret about it, every gambler is aware of been a responsible gambler or not a responsible gambler, I believe that anyone who doesn't wants to gamble responsibly, it's the person's choice not yours, a gambler doesn't know if it's gambling responsibly or not, except it's been informed by someone, but it's our duty to know when we are gambling responsibly.
I feel it goes deeper than just someone having a plan and I think strategy only works when a gambler really understand the risk involved and if the gambler knows he's or her limits. So many gamblers are only focused on the excitement of winning and they actually forget that gambling is unpredictable and whatever strategy a gambler have is not 100% safe.
Imo, becoming a responsible gambler involves more than just understanding whether I am a responsible gambler or not. A person becomes a responsible gambler when he or she can practice self control, not letting emotions take over you, and also knowing when to stop playing. Gambler just need to know that choosing to gamble responsibly is not about personal preference, but rather it provides a level of protection against significant financial loss and possible regret.
Reality of gambling is that having a great strategy is good, but if the mindset behind the strategy to win is not right, then the gambler is just going to lose a lot. A gambler need to be disciplined, always stick to your limits and try to make smart choices. Without that, even the greatest strategies will lead a gambler in the opposite direction of winning which is just losing a lot.
