Many gamblers acquired aware of some of the thieves required of them to observed in other for them to gamble responsibly, but they wouldn't pay attention to them because of their selfish interest when it comes to gambling, it is impossible that we keep pleasing ourselves to do everything we see despite that there is a limit to how far we can go to do things, because this is not only about being focused to having fun when gambling, but also being mindful of some of the consequences to each of the decisions we make as a gamble as well.

Greed is not just the only reason why people become addicted to gambling.  Lack of understanding, mindset,  gambling without limit can also be the reason why people become addicted to gambling.

Gambling is really a silent killer to those who does not really understand gambling but aiming to win bu all means, this makes one to become desperate and to gamble with more money thst cant be afford and this continously makes one to be addicted that even when one comes to realize they struggle with the addiction of gambling.  For one not to be addicted to gambling you need to be prepared in the mind and to understand what gambling is all about, if not you will be driven to the direction of getting addicted.
Awareness is only option for gambling to know what to do and how to stay focused on responsible gambling by making decision that will be of good, to gamble within their budget and setting limits of how they gamble. This will make them to prevent any emotional issues or impulses that will lead them into becoming greed and also be aware that gambling is not a game where one can be earning income for a living, because having that mindset will cause much distress in their lives by disrupting their plans.

my advice to every gambler is to gamble with strategies, because if you don't gamble with strategies the gambler may ends regretting, because gambling is not certain, if we allow our selfish interest to take us away from knowing the implications or disadvantage of gambling, at the end we shall regret about it, every gambler is aware of been a responsible gambler or not a responsible gambler, I believe that anyone who doesn't wants to gamble responsibly, it's the person's choice not yours, a gambler doesn't know if it's gambling responsibly or not, except it's been informed by someone, but it's our duty to know when we are gambling responsibly.

I feel it goes deeper than just someone having a plan and I think strategy only works when a gambler really understand the risk involved and if the gambler knows he's or her limits.  So many gamblers are only focused on the excitement of winning and they actually forget that gambling is unpredictable and whatever strategy a gambler have is not 100% safe.

Imo, becoming a responsible gambler involves more than just understanding whether I am a responsible gambler or not. A person becomes a responsible gambler when he or she can practice self control,  not letting emotions take over you, and also knowing when to stop playing.  Gambler just need to know that choosing to gamble responsibly is not about personal preference, but rather it provides a level of protection against significant financial loss and possible regret.

Reality of gambling is that having a great strategy is good, but if the mindset behind the strategy to win is not right,  then the gambler is just going to lose a lot. A gambler need to be disciplined,  always stick to your limits and try to make smart choices. Without that,  even the greatest strategies will lead a gambler in the opposite direction of winning  which is just losing a lot.

The gambler knows and understands whether he is gambling responsibly or not. He can even understand whether he is addicted. He even knows how much financial loss or gain he has made by gambling. He bets even after that. The reason for this may be overconfidence that he thinks that he can win in the future. And many times it turns into a habit. Due to which he cannot give up gambling completely even if he loses. Later, addiction is formed due to these things.

How about keeping yourself busy by doing profitable things like reading or learning about the crypto market, if you are too busy building your life you wouldn't have the time to gamble. I think what I said can replace the first suggestion you made because that's also negative.
That’s great, but the addict has to want to do it on their own no matter how much you tell them it’s interesting, if they’re not interested or don’t care, they won’t do it, I think that once addiction is very advanced, it’s not possible to do that, However, for someone just starting to develop an addiction, it’s a very good option to help their mindset shift away from actively gambling at the casino and desperately spending their money.

However, a gambler's process of avoiding addiction must be based on their own will. This means that the gambler consciously sets limits and increases their non-gambling activities. It is indeed difficult for a gambler who is already addicted and may require guidance from someone close to them to constantly remind the gambler to build a routine of non-gambling activities.
Initially, implementing such an activity pattern is certainly difficult. But it can be done gradually to build the gambler's awareness in managing their time.

You're correct though but still there's no big deal in how to avoid gambling addiction but the greed trap for quick and huge profits wouldn't let many gamblers keep to the simple responsible gambling habits which are setting a bankroll and betting limit, time limit spent for gambling and using the funds which you wouldn't be moved to chase after on losing it to the house.

Be it for entertainment or profit purpose of gambling, you still have to act with some decency otherwise you still would be addicted and  your finance would suffer for it.
When the possibility of quick and easy money looms on the horizon, all rational thinking evaporates. It's hard to keep track of yourself when you're completely immersed in the gameplay. It's as if the rest of the world simply doesn't exist. There are only casinos and gambling. The thought of hitting the jackpot never leaves you. It's so close. )) Ah, I've been through it all. Was I satisfied? I wouldn't say so. More likely, disappointment than positive emotions.

You both have good points. I think learning new things or investing your money in something useful can definitely distract you from gambling, particularly at the beginning. But it's also true that when someone is really addicted, it may not be enough to just make suggestions because their attitude is already dominated by the habit. I think it's a matter of striking a balance - preventing gambling in the first place by finding constructive distractions, and for those with more severe gambling issues, more severe measures such as limiting gambling, self-exclusion or even seeking external help. A good rule of thumb is to stay away from triggers, like gambling apps or other gambling-friendly environments. Little steps in the right direction can add up.

You have a point. addiction to gambling is usually silent and by the time a person notices it is always too late to do anything about it, as the damage is already done. I do concur that greed contributes significantly to this particularly when individuals begin to pursue the losses or where they begin to think that they can always recover what they lost. The only solution to this is to ensure that gambling is taken as a form of entertainment and not a source of income. It is highly essential to have specific time and money boundaries and follow them regardless of the circumstances. It will also be used to prevent gambling when one is emotional since they make impulsive choices. By being mindful and sincere with oneself, one may avoid things going out of control at an early stage.
Greed and selfishness is what its leading many gamblers into being addicted and leads them into destruction that will not affect them in any good way, instead it will pave way for them to let in problems that will lead them or make them insane, which their emotions will cloud their judgement. That is why they should learn how to walk away and manage the risks involved in order to be at the safer side and make it possible for them sustain the habit to gamble with the right mindset.

Walking away is very important and it's something that a lot of gamblers fail to do especially when they are making profit, this is one of the most difficult moments to walk away from when the gambler is not disciplined. This is what greed and selfishness is capable of turning a gambler into. Greed is a display of indiscipline and it's one of the reasons why people get addicted to gambling, what causes this is that they try always make profit.
