i know it is just a meme but personally i do not understand those who say they quit their jobs because they believe bitcoin will go to 1 million.

i believe bitcoin will go to 1 million but i am not going to quit my job and sit around waiting for that to happen unless i am already at my retiring age. i need to find other sources of income, whether that's within the bitcoin ecosystem or not, in order to continue buying more bitcoin in order to be prepared when i finally am ready to sell and when bitcoin has already hit a million in value.

besides, if you are at a point of instability wherein you will need to apply to mcdonalds just because bitcoin dropped for a few thousand dollars then i do not think you should be quitting your job at all.

If you are in a process of building your bitcoin investment, you cannot quit your job because, it is from the job you are doing that you are getting money to accumulate more bitcoin and you need to get to an over accumulation stage before you can decide to stop accumulating bitcoin.
When you have reached an over accumulation stage and you decide to stop accumulating it is still very risky to quit your job because, Bitcoin is highly volatile in nature, meaning Bitcoin can get to $1 million and next minute it drop dramatically and you can’t tell how long it will take for it to go back to $1 million again, so keep your job and keep your bitcoin.

It's always about wether to quit their job or to continue. Some say that you have to quit when you earn a huge profit while others will say to continue their job to acquire more bitcoin or to have more than one source of income. For me, I believe that it's okay to have job even if you are into bitcoin as to have another source of income since it's not every time you will get money on bitcoin so you will surely need to have a steady source of money like a job.

Not that we don't have confidence in Bitcoin making it to $1 million or anything related with time, at least some people just have to start from somewhere before making a drastic decision that can cost them huge amount of loss, you can't just start investing now and quit your job for nothing at least one should stand a backup for the order and that is the best way to invest when you don't fully depend on it but instead having it as an alternative in case of an unforseen circumstances that may occur in the future.

To me it is a dumb idea or will I reasoning for any Bitcoiner to think of quitting their job just because they believe that Bitcoin will reach $1m soon or anytime soon when the price has not reach their yet,  who thinks that way? that will be shit decision by anyone, beside the job we will be considering to quit might actually be the one we used the salary we got from the same job to accumulate whatever amount of Bitcoin we have as hodlings, for instance what if Bitcoin fails to increase to $1m in our calculations at period we are expecting it to, so we will now lose our job and of course our next move maybe to sell some of our Bitcoin to manage for the moment while we keep searching for a new job or maybe to withdraw money from our savings thats if we even have any, so how ideal is such decision, we should understand that Bitcoin is an investment and I don't think anyone is adviced to quit their job because they are expecting a price that has not come yet, we shouldn't be terrible with how we think to avoid making mistakes we might leave to regret.

If you carried out findings, you would discover that the majority of these people who quit their jobs because they've accumulated enough Bitcoin didn't just quit their jobs and start feeding off their Bitcoin funds. I'm sure they quit their jobs to start a business so they could have free time for themselves and their family. But most of us have this misconception when we hear the phrase "quit their job" to mean they have no businesses that are generating income.

Some people the moment they have just a little opportunity of investing and something or earning from it then the tend to quickly forget about but the sources we should stand as an alternative to them, that we invested in Bitcoin does not mean that we shouldn't work or engage in doing other things that could make us earn the more, we can never have it much than enough, and not even that we are taking decision when we just started with an investment to create our job, this may not be the best decision except it obstruct us from engaging in Bitcoin investment.

For someone quitting up their job just because they've been believing that they would be rich on investing into crypto or Bitcoin, but without even thinking up these things in the first place.

2. How much they had invested
3. Which coins they are investing into
4. Tons of factors that affect out on overall price movement including fundamentals

So quitting up your job just because you've been that confident that you wont be needing it up on the moment that the market will be having that bull run specially on Bitcoin. Tons of speculations speaking about million per coin but of course there's no way that we can be able to tell on when or it could really happen. Look at on where the price now? Did the cycle happen on how it supposed to be? Tons of things didnt happen and this is what you should be putting up into your mind that there's no guarantee on what would happen ahead.

Quitting your job when you have just started building your bitcoin investment is a very foolish thing to do because even though the price of bitcoin will increase in the future, that does not mean you can quit your job and keep hoping that bitcoin will reach 1 million tomorrow.

If our financial capabilities are not yet strong then deciding to quit our job is the wrong decision because we should think about how to make more money as a process towards financial freedom from the investment we are undertaking. If we only depend on one unstable income then the investment process that we are undertaking will not develop because the availability of capital that we have is not yet strong so what we need to do is how to get more income from the type of work that I do because then there is a much better chance of achieving a much more consistent investment at the purchasing stage consistently.

That's absolutely correct. We shouldn't be considering to quit our day jobs even in bitcoin goes to $1M.
The reason is simple, you need to have something to keep yourself busy otherwise you will end up ruining your life.
Unless and until you have huge amount of money you shouldn't consider quitting your day job.
If you do have a huge amount of money already then it won't really matter if bitcoin goes to $1M or not because you already enough money to live your life without bitcoin.

What is the reason for a person to quit his job when the price of Bitcoin reaches $1 million? The person who is talking about quitting his job may have reached the excess savings level and may have lost the ability to work. The person who bought Bitcoin in 2016 and was able to reach the target of making a profit and if his time limit has passed, then he can withdraw some amount of money from Bitcoin at this time and enjoy it. However, if he is able to continue his job or any other source of income, then he should do so. Because no matter how much money you have, if you sit and eat that asset, that asset will also run out. So quitting a job is never the right decision.

Quitting our jobs just because we are accumulating bitcoin and having the thinking that bitcoin might go for higher highs and reach some certain expectations of ours then that just bull shit and a big risk. Risking our job just because we are accumulating bitcoin and thinking the price might go for highs is very unrealistic and the cryptocurrency market is always unpredictable and uncertain that at times we might not even know where the market might move to, such decisions is so risky to be honest.
 Let even forget the fact that we might need our job so we can keep accumulating our holdings and keep buying during dips but what of the fact that if we quit our job that doesn’t give us the guarantee to touch our holdings.  so what will keep us up with our necessities and little wants. Never seen someone actually quitting their job just because they thought bitcoin would get to 1 million. As a matter of fact, never seen a single person yet, even a member here, who would say bitcoin is so bullish when it was trading at $126k, that now it is going to hit $1 million. In fact, everyone said, this pump was a bullish and exceptional one, so the path for $1 million looks easier now, but it does not mean it will hit $1 million in 1 year or by 2028.

People quite their job when they are trading, because when a person start crypto trading as serious profession while they are doing another job, they eventually starts to think of quiting their job to be full time trader because they beleive they are giving less time due to the job that's why they are losing or making less. But when they quit the pressure increases.

I have not come across people who quit their jobs because they believe bitcoin is getting somewhere; I have only seen someone who took out enough profit from bitcoin and started up his own business, which is moving from working for someone to owning his own business.

The only time I have seen some people make some stupid decisions in my country is during the Hamster Combat, which promised them millions. There was a circulation of resignation letters by those who thought they had made it through Hamster, but at the end of the day, they got disappointed.

Agree, what ever your position have good financial condition or in process build up your investment keep working and don't quit from your job, I think many people underestimate with their job when bitcoin hit new higher price and their portfolio increasing drastically but right now after market crash and get loss much really need job how to back up daily needed after floating position at market. I started build new business right now before the market drop and its running until right now, I won't quit from my business and keep consistent both investing in bitcoin and manage my business. I believe many time need waiting longer moment if get loss from investing in bitcoin how last several time bitcoin take several months later will recovery back.
