Quitting your job because Bitcoin is at a high price is just an excuse, and to me, it sounds pretty ordinary because I often come across lazy people who have big dreams.
When we are hungry, no one truly comes to help us out of the goodness of their heart. Working hard to be smart about enjoying the results is the goal of everyone who has a big vision for financial freedom. As long as my body is still strong enough to move, I will not stop taking steps to achieve financial freedom in the future.

Only a newbie will experience Bitcoin bull run and think he is getting rich forever, the people that are swimming in millions of dollars today held Bitcoin for years before they could attain this values and yet they have not sold a single Bitcoin and they never quit their jobs. If most of them has quit their jobs, I'm sure they must have sold all their Bitcoin to earn a better living but they have not sold and has not quit their jobs, this is how you see a person with better vision.

Since this is Bitcoin it's better, there are some people that quit their jobs for airdrops and web3 money. The got so excited by infofi spamming X because they earn 4 figures but now that infofi has been banned on X, there are no airdrops to pay them, the ones are just waste of time, this is the highest level of irresponsibility I have seen from some people and that's because many of them are new to Bitcoin.

If you are in a process of building your bitcoin investment, you cannot quit your job because, it is from the job you are doing that you are getting money to accumulate more bitcoin and you need to get to an over accumulation stage before you can decide to stop accumulating bitcoin.
When you have reached an over accumulation stage and you decide to stop accumulating it is still very risky to quit your job because, Bitcoin is highly volatile in nature, meaning Bitcoin can get to $1 million and next minute it drop dramatically and you can’t tell how long it will take for it to go back to $1 million again, so keep your job and keep your bitcoin.

A job is a security income from which you can source money regularly. And Bitcoin investment is a long-term savings or investment, here you cannot enjoy profit from it as soon as you invest, you must wait for a long time to generate good profit from it. But you have a constant expense and to meet that expense, you must need a regular source of money and if you want to increase your investment in Bitcoin, you will also need money. So if someone does not have an established source of passive income such as a business, then they should definitely not leave their job based on Bitcoin investment alone. Then in this case, it can create a big financial crisis, including the past.

I have heard people that quit their job because they earn huge amount of money from the bitcoin that they hold for a long period of time, but I have not seen anyone that said he quits his job because he knows that bitcoin is going to $1 million. I think this is just a made up story or so.

What I have heard and be speculating about bitcoin going to $1 million is that it can take a decade or more than a decade before bitcoin can get to such price.

I guess this should be  a make up story and  then a very hilarious one at because no one would I repeat no one would quit their jobs merely because they are anticipating that Bitcoin is going to $1 million, the question is if such person quits their job how would they be able to pay or continue to pay their bills while waiting for Bitcoin to get up to $1 million? And even if such person has made so much money to pay their bills but then no one knows how long it's to take Bitcoin before getting to $1 million, honestly this is a meme kind of story since it could even take more a decade for Bitcoin to get up to that nothing is guarantee and no one knows.

If you are simply buying and hodling bitcoin, it will not require so much of your time so quitting from your job is just a stupid decision. And quitting your job won't guarantee that bitcoin price will continue to surge high and reach its new all time high, its volatility will always happen from time to time and none of us can control it.

Its better if you start increasing your income so you can maximize your bitcoin portfolio. The more job you have, the bigger accumulation for bitcoin, the brighter your future will be and your retirement, so never quit your job while you are still in the process of growing your bitcoin.

How can one invest constantly without a source of income? Funny how people create their own problem for instance investing in bitcoin requires a good cash flow and management so I wonder how can anyone keep investing without a job. Bitcoin reaching 1m is not a problem but, the problem is getting a good portfolio before time that’s what matters and without investing the profit is not guarantee, although I doubted for a sec when I view higher predicted price last year obviously bitcoin growth takes time so currently 1m is not yet certain and putting faith in such will only destroy a person to an extend quitting a job.

I consider Bitcoin as a retirement plan for those who don't have white collar jobs and even those who have, just as long as there's a source of income to invest with, in Bitcoin.
Anyone that also considers quitting their jobs should always weigh the pros and cons before doing so, and they should first have started earning from Bitcoin no matter how little, but with the potential of growth, before making such a decision.
Bitcoin is a store of value and currency and asset and anyone investing in it must know what they stand to gain, that's why I don't advice anyone to rush in, but have a plan first and a means to earn from investment in Bitcoin by either trading or hold with a DCA strategy or even lump sum strategy and diversification into other investment in mind, before delving in fully.

If When Bitcoin hits £1 million, there will be no major influx of crypto-millionaires, as most of the holders will probably enter somewhere above $900k. And those who have held from early days will likely continue to hold until life circumstances force them to sell.

And if Bitcoins goes there soon, it would prove to be one of the best performing assets, so why exchange it for anything else, especially for inflationary cash with guaranteed negative return on value.
If you want to live off your investments, you need to stay invested in something, so why not stay in Bitcoin if it works for you so well.

But yeah, quitting your job and relying on investments alone can be scary and most people wouldn't go for it unless they have a really big stash that can withstand a risk of recession etc (or unless they really hate their job).

Yes, alot of people strongly believe that Bitcoin will hit 1 million in the future. I personally also have such believe but that doesn't mean that I would quit my job and start hoping for such thing to happen, as a matter of fact what we are saying is just a mere speculation because there's no guarantee about that, the reason why we believe that Bitcoin will hit 1 million in the future is due to the steady increase in the value over time. However while hoping for such thing to happen it is advised to continue with whatever job we are doing let it serve as back up Incase it didn't work as expected.

That's their mistake, they have already quit before they are able to witness it happen. It's possible that many will quit when it finally hits $1M but before seeing that and they decided to quit, that's a huge mistake. While you're betting for that future, you need to have at least active income while waiting for that. On the case of these many, they're going to wait for unknown years before they will finally see that. I wish for it to happen the soonest but it's not wise to leave your active income while waiting for that historic moment.

Some people quit their jobs not because they have faith in bitcoin, but because they have made other investments with the help of bitcoin. They have invested their time into bitcoin as well as to other investments, so sticking to their jobs won't be productive at all, and it would be unfair to their employer if they still receive their pay despite not being productive to the nature of their job.

However, if you are still in the process of learning and growing your bitcoin investment, then quitting is never the best option. You need bigger funds to accumulate more bitcoin, so quitting form one's job is simply not the best decision. But quit when your investment is already paying off and diversify your investment after.

No i can not even imagine how a well thinking person would do that of quitting his or her job knowing quite well that they will definitely need money to provide their necessary needs and continue to live their lifes with every moment in need of money to solve their needs that money can only be the solution.
Then the hope to target the price in such high value of $1,000,000 is decided until the sunsets because using the 4 years cycle events to analyze this speculation, it could take future cycle before the speculated values would emerge.
So unfortunate that you will end up selling your bitcoin once you don't have an alternative to get your emergency needs.

Well you can't tell those people not to quit from their job if they are really willing to leave their job. Bitcoin investment may only be an excuse, but probably the truth is that they already find their job boring and the people around are not healthy at all to be working with. So if you are in their shoes, surely you will also do the same thing.

But if you find your job still worth to keep, and you love the people around more than the job itself, then quitting should never be entertained.

Instead, improve your performance for a future promotion, because when there is promotion, there will be salary increase, and you will be able to buy more bitcoin for your future retirement. That way, your job and your investment are complementing each other.

Anyone that quits his job because he believes that bitcoin will hit $1m in future isn't serious with his life because how will he survive till bitcoin gets to $1 million. It seems that you are not around during the apex of the 2025 bull run, the speculation and the pointer towards 1 million dollars even when the coin has not gotten to $200k was high.

This behavior is famous among the people that have good working opportunity is in their country. Even if the quit working today and decide to start working by next week they will still be employed. But you don't do that rubbish in a country that do not have employment opportunities.

I've met a lot of people who are humble enough that continues to work on their jobs. I think that's not uncommon when we still see people who are wealthy enough to quit their jobs.

And yet, they are continue to work and still love the job that they are in. I would love to quit my job when I become so very wealthy but, I think there will be a moment of our lives when we think that because of having that much, life gets boring and we have to do something and by that time, it's going to be the job that we love to work for without having any pressures anymore.

I believe people that do quit there jobs simply because they so much believe in Bitcoin and they believe it is going to 1 million, have the following issues;

First, they just believe in the hype and have not done proper research, cause if you have done proper research, you'll know that Bitcoin is not just all about paying bills, or make 100x your investments then you start withdrawing little by little, that mindset only creates impatience which will lead to series of bad choices.

Second, they lack proper investment knowledge, investing isn't gambling or trading, investing isn't a get rich quick scheme, it is a long process that involves, patience, belief in the process and project, capital intensive, and time. If they do know this, quiting your job that provides capital and pays the bills in the now won't be an option at all.

You can't quit your job when you actually do need it to keep accumulating Bitcoin so you can have a large enough portfolio that you can proudly say, "Yes I invested in Bitcoin". Or maybe they hate their job and have been looking for an excuse to quit 😂

If they want to have one bitcoin then they need to work to buy them, there is no more easy way to make bitcoin anymore in this 2026, so quitting jobs doesn't make sense though but traders who got initial success will dare to fo that but only end up draining their capital after a while.

It's insane to actually get to deny any job because you feel your Bitcoin investment could save you, only newbie could think this way because she's inexperienced in the crypto game, never learnt any lessons that hits so hard on her.

Infact, getting jobs whether crypto related or non crypto related, while securing your Bitcoin is the safest option one could ever take, it keeps on a strong balance while spending for your leaving and saving for your future.

Ignorance could make one do the unimaginable, Bitcoin is yet to grow pass six figures and nobody knows when it would get to 1m imagine it takes the next 15 years or more to get there that means a person with such mentality would be jobless for 15 years or more cause he own Bitcoin and has hope that it would get to 1m. It's so insane cause without a job such person would sell almost all the Bitcoins he own just to settle basic needs or emergency situations.
