My question is which countries you think are the safest to live in, that are pro-bitoin or neutral towards Bitcoin?
Such countries must have nice oceans to protect them with the ocean natural protection layer. It's how Zelensky argued with Donald Trump months ago in the White House and he is right about that.

Another condition is that nation should be an ally of a strong nation and organization such as the USA and NATO.

In my opinion, Australia has these good conditions to satisfy any demand of living well in upcoming years in the most chaotic time of the word in the last century. Let me know if you think different.

New-old war is active again in Middle East, and I think it will soon spread to even more countries and Europe.
We should also not forget the terrible war that has been raging for years in Ukraine, with millions of people losing their lives and their homes.

My question is which countries you think are the safest to live in, that are pro-bitoin or neutral towards Bitcoin?

I think that Europe will be more chaotic in few years, so I'm looking for countries to escape outside of European continent.
Getting foreign documents easier is important, as well as lower cost of living.

Feel free to post your potential countries with more information.

Safest pro-Bitcoin countries with no wars? There's only a handful of them I can think about. Mainly El Salvador and Puerto Rico. These have zero capital gains taxes on crypto, while being "free" from wars.

Personally, I like El Salvador a lot because it has many places where you can pay with BTC. Initiatives like "Bitcoin City" and "Bitcoin Beach" (in El Zonte), make El Salvador an attractive tourist destination. The country stepped down on its "Bitcoin legal tender" mandate with the recent IMF deal, but that doesn't mean it's "game over". A good thing about El Salvador is that crime rates have reduced drastically since President Nayib Bukele came into power. It's probably "safer" than the US in this regard. I'm sure other countries will catch up with Bitcoin. It should only be a matter of time before this happens...

Any country that didn't impose capital gain tax and actually care about you. Usually small countries that are getting huge percentage of their country's income from banking and financial services.

Singapore, Switzerland, Cayman Islands and more. These are pretty good country if you are bitcoin millionaire.

New-old war is active again in Middle East, and I think it will soon spread to even more countries and Europe.
There are always military conflicts somewhere in the world. Such is the nature of humanity.

My question is which countries you think are the safest to live in, that are pro-bitoin or neutral towards Bitcoin?
The definition of a safe country includes several key factors (personal safety, epidemic risk level, sanitation, and healthcare), not just the local regulator's stance on bitcoin. It's unlikely anyone would want to live in a country that's compliant with bitcoin, but where it's dangerous to leave the hotel to go to the corner store, the sanitation is so poor that you're afraid to eat food from that store, and the healthcare is so poor that if you have food poisoning, they'll treat you with aspirin. Smiley

In my opinion, any country (which also satisfies the above-mentioned criteria) is suitable for safe living, as long as there's no strict ban on bitcoin.

I think that Europe will be more chaotic in few years, so I'm looking for countries to escape outside of European continent.
Getting foreign documents easier is important, as well as lower cost of living.

Feel free to post your potential countries with more information.
If life in Europe becomes difficult, then it's worth looking to Asian countries (unlikely China). There's also South America. In many countries on these continents, regulators remain "indifferent" to bitcoin.

By the way, @dkbit98 decided to change his location? Smiley

Yes, currently, the old-new war is active again in some countries including Iran and Israel and it may spread to Europe, so in this situation, I would choose Indonesia to live safely with Bitcoin. Also it seems to me, in the midst of this ongoing geopolitical chaos and If there is a possibility of World War III starting after an attack on Iran in 2026, then Indonesia will be safer than Europe because as far as I know, even though a new conflict between Iran and Israel has begun this new year, this country remains out of the geopolitical risk also you may notice that they have some beaches in Bali that are suitable for Bitcoiners.

I live in Asia and even in our country its not safe with anything harsh happening in the society but with the wars happening now on the miffle east the horizon could expand to more countries like what esclating now on Europe.

I guess pro crypto countries like El Salvador, Malta and others still good to stay unless their also trying to tie their knot on the esclation of wars in the US -Iran issues. The objective of the goal of this war is to stop nuclear potentials from Iran which if those crypto countries doesnt have means they will continue to be safe.

As EU citizen, living abroad I made a decision/evaluation using numbeo as point of start for this research. Generally speaking, I would just choose a SAFE Country. (it can be safe...for citizen of that country not for you Roll Eyes ) Living few weeks/months - changing cities, speak with people and so on (literally living as you will live there) would give the real impression about a place.
At the end with bitcon you can just "live under the hood" and just hodl your coins. If you have already cash/asset/money in bank account and so on having/not having btc could become not essential (decision makers change ideas. Coins declared today can become an issue in the future).
Many EU citizens have applied for "second" citizenship, fiscal residences and so on.

I would only move in a "rich" country that could be already providing safety.
Ok el salvador can be the only exception to the rule but all of these countries "rich" are already "pro -bitcoin".
If you know the policy of Switzerland on bitcoin (just to mention one of safest countries of the world) we know very well that they will provide a safe heaven if needed.
But this is a real expensive country. The same could apply probably to any western world country (USA JAPAN)... Maybe there are some expcetions but anyone knows what to get... (I stay for few months in one Island without roads/shop/hotels/bars and has been just amazing... Grin )
There are good options in SE Asia - even countries with long VISA opportunities - compared to our standard this is pretty reasonable as choice.
South Europe could bring good quality life (with less controls) but still EU...
Only EU countries (even if there are some crypto heaven) are offering less safety and in general can't be considered "safe" as it was in the past decades.

Go to singapore. In that region most of the countries are pretty neutral and don't really take side. The region is also nuclear free zone so you got better chance of not having a war happening in there.
The worst case scenario is you got fined for smoking or trashing the place with chewing gum.

Developing countries can't participate in the war because they don't even have the capacity anyway, the likes of Ghana, and many other African countries can't go to war because even missiles they don't have, the latest news yesterday was that even Iran allys are not helping them, many countries are trying as much as possible not to go to war, Iran is just too stupid and full of ego, they knew they can't win this war but they are Muslims anyway, they always have the death wish in them since they believe that sacrificing themselves means they have a better place in heaven prepared for them, this is where religion has gotten us in this world, without them the world would have been a better place.

Safest countries would be where they are the happiest.

Don't lure the enemy back to the shire. Iran would be the excuse for not talking about what is going on in your country. Who the fuck would bomb you if you was not the problem? Dox.

I bought two lottery tickets instead of one? Does that make any sense? Cola Warrior. Supporting scout movements on house edge.

Definitely New Zealand. The country is far enough away from hot spots; there are no strategic facilities in the country that could become a focus for attention. Digital assets, including Bitcoin, are fully legalized in the country and are regulated by law. New Zealand is a fairly fertile country, which means there is plenty of food, and there is no danger of starvation.

Yes, you also forgot to add a lot of vaccinations that you need to get to such a country, and yet you will still be in danger of contracting malaria, as happened with my brother's colleague, who recently returned from the country where OP was invited so actively by users from the first page.

Larkin went to Dubai.. Made a video about it. Or what? Told him his wife was gonna wear a burka. Told the former pope that the police loved him. Don't know where he went. Man you have to keep idiots at bay.

Dubai has food for 8 days.

Post scriptum: Better tilt that 8 to "∞". Infinity symbol.

That's one of my dream country to travel to someday, a safe and peaceful place to visit and they're Bitcoin friendly. I've never hear of war or chaos in the country, they're just bent on making their economy more better and the country peaceful for tourists than involving themselves in an unending war, I support that the OP should go to Singapore if he's trying to escape a potential war escalation in Europe.

Feel free to post your potential countries with more information.
Uruguay is at the top of my list. They have Bitcoin freindly laws and a low cost of living. Getting a visa is not that complicated. The government of Uruguay has always opposed US military actions, so it might not be part of the war.

In my opinion, Australia has these good conditions to satisfy any demand of living well in upcoming years in the most chaotic time of the word in the last century. Let me know if you think different.
The cost of living in Australia could be higher than in some countries in Europe, and getting a visa might be complicated. And OP wants a country with a low cost of living.

You all go blessed since i don't file a formal complaint. Cut it down to good offers. Same goes for the dude that has to call in a bunch of priests.

You be the best since shitting your pants is over. Who want to live forever by the way? Realizing now is the genesis moment.

Me. I got my beer. Trinity. Allmost holy. The day it all started. I tell you about transformation if i get a pick up. Hint. it's about relativity. The explaining is if it happens now then i want to see what happens. In the moment. Where it's at. You buy from the top of the stack.

Funny how Iran can't refine Uran. You have an alternative plan. Some shit where people is not forced to work in a mine. Some work where where people don't have to go to Mars.

Throw some "shit" and see what sticks.

Is Africa really a good option though?  If war expands through Europe, it probably means a World War or a similar sized war.  That means less Money.  Less Safety.  More hunger.  I imagine a poor country may not end up getting them selves involved in a war, but the poverty may spike the criminality rate to the ceiling.  I do not know if I want to run from a war to get my self sliced up for Money, food and other resources.

Most African countries want to be like China and severely restrict bitcoin and cryptocurrency. Why? Surprise surprise, Chinese investment.

So for now it's good but I don't think the good times will stay forever.

You have to represent the value. Where I got. People have to believe it's as good as real money.

I be social democrate for the day. Social without a flag. Like casino. Extra chance. We talk about Denmark. No guns. No death penalty. Very lonely if you don't want company.

BTW. We get some new missiles that is not designed to hit Russia. As i get drunk.. Some range talks. Kilometers not miles. Short range. For intrusion attempts. Thank me for not shooting your drones down.

Throw some "shit" and see what sticks.

Not to mention that OP wants a Safe counntry to live with Bitcoin.  Will Africa have a good and reliable Internet connection in a large scale war?
When talking about safety, Africa should be the last option on the table, it's not news that internal crisis at various parts of African countries including my country is a big threat to security of the nations, even without being at war, there's a high scale of kidnapping, thuggery and banditry in Africa, so I might not recommend it for anyone who isn't used to the kind of rugged lifestyle obtainable here.

New Zealand and Australia should be a good option. New Zealand was rated the third safest country according to the 2025 global peace Index (GPI). Its crime rates are very low compared to other countries and they are among the top crypto-friendly countries. Australia is also very safe and cryptocurrency friendly with low crime rates. I would have suggested Iceland which is the most peaceful country and very cryptocurrency friendly, but OP wants out of Europe.

New Zealand had Cryptopia.

It's under law. Fuck it. You had dirty old bastard getting with everything.

Zen coins and ETN. You see where it's at. New Zealand was involved in promoting it.

My question is which countries you think are the safest to live in, that are pro-bitoin or neutral towards Bitcoin?
there are quite a number of countries already that are pro-bitcoin or at least not very against it but those countries are usually developing countries and if not involved in the war (usa)

a country i can think of is south korea but i don't think it has the lowest costs of living but if you are coming from europe then i believe the difference in currency would benefit you

they seem to be on the path of becoming pro-crypto
