Well first of all gambling is addictive, even when you loss you will still want to go back and gamble, and it is very hard to quit.

Secondly for those who gamble for the right reason, it is for entertainment and the losses doesn't really matter and it doesn't count as well.

Thirdly most people find different things from gambling, other that the concern of money, socialisation, peace, friend, etc
Money is like the least of concern to them.

You have rightly said it that gambling is addictive and that is exactly what it is majority went in with different motive but they end up with something else, winning can be hard and when it is not forth coming you take your mind off it so you don't get devasted, most people who keep gambling after several loses and the reason for their continuity is that they will win some day might just be making a big mistake because they will end up as irresponsible gamblers, why most people don't quit even after several loses is that they gave the fight for winning and made peace within thenself such that whether they win or not they still gamble, they are trapped with gambling activities and of course in the best practice and conduct.

There's a saying that goes, losses are not a reason to give up but a challenge to move forward, and I think this really fits how gamblers treat gambling. They are not threatened by consistent losses, because everyone is dealing with it. So gamblers will never think that quitting will be the safest option.

But instead, they even prove to the market and theirselves that they are good enough to win, even a small amount. Winning is hard, but gamblers never see that because they still believe that with luck, strategies and skills, winning will still be possible.

Losing am afraid is a must for every gambler and that's why myself can't quit. Besides we know that only losers quit and I don't believe am a loser despite losing often on gambling bets that are very quite unpredictable and a game of probability and luck.
The best thing I do to keep gambling consistently despite the losses, is to use a certain amount limit to fund and bet with. So no matter how many times people send me sure games as they say, I pick a few and try my luck with whatever picks I can include or forecast on my own.

I think the main reason is that many people get caught up in the mindset of "I need to recover what I lost." Then they end up continuing to gamble even when they know it's not the best decision. There's also the emotional aspect: when someone wins once, they have the feeling that it could happen again at any moment. That's why stopping isn't always as easy as it seems from the outside.

The chances of losing the bet is higher than winning it. So even though you lose the first bet, you still do not have any guarantee that you will win the second one. I believe this is the conception many gamblers have that is why when they are losing  a lot of money they still continue gambling. I get it that it is not easy as it seems to stop gambling but with your mind made up you can do it, even though stopping will be hard, at least taking a break will help a lot, it will help them save up some money for a while or even use the money for other important things.

The amount won or lost isn't the key to quickly exiting a gambling session. After all, sometimes people have too much money to spend, or their losses haven't reached a tolerable level, and their limit is to have no bankroll at all. Casinos also go to great lengths to prevent you from leaving the game too quickly.

True, also, it is possible that the person who gambles already thinks that the money is lost the moment he try to win on the gambling platform.  People gamble because they wanted to win and sane people accept the losses when things get bad, and they do not take the losses to heart and start fresh each session.

Most gamblers do not quit even with all those losses because they have already accepted the fact that they might lose money every time they engage in gambling.

Without doing any research I can actually say that gamblers that are benefiting from gamble in aspect of winning their bet are lower than the gamblers that are losing their bet because there's no guarantee to win any game except the gambler is lucky, which makes me believe that losers are more than the winners. If you observe properly, we could notice that the gambers that are winning their bet are likely gambling for entertainment (am not sure actually, probably not all of them), meanwhile those gamblers that are losing their bet are desperately gambling to make money through it. Even after multiple trials and no positive results, why not quit?.

Of course I would tell them to quit gambling who have chosen gambling with the intention that they will only win and be profitable.
The reason is that this kind of public does not accept gambling as entertainment but rather they consider it as a way of generating money for them and because of that they actually gradually become addicted to gambling, and another reason for this is that as you have already said they cannot maintain their emotional control and constantly face losses and desperately invest the amount they can afford to lose to recover those losses. I will say it will be better for them quit gambling.

Winning gamble is hard just like every thing have the potential of making life better, nothing is easy so this is perfect and just as it should be. Winning is supposed to require some extra effort and luck to preserve the business because if everyone is winning at the same time, the casino owners will not be able to payout the winnings. Therefore, I think that quitting because one is not winning is not a great decision. Simply manage your risk properly and you will not be under pressure to quit.

I think people have gotten psychologically attached to gambling and that's why they don't quit even when they have lose a lot of money. Gamble is not just about money,  gambling has a way to play with peoples emotions and also make people to have a lot of expectations. When someone loses money again and again in gambling,  it becomes very difficult for them to accept that the money is gone. Instead of them to accept the loss and move on,  they start to see the next bet as a chance to win back their money and that kind of mindset can trap people in a bad cycle that's very hard to get out of.

Most gamblers always see the next bet as the next chance to win money back even if the past results do not support that notion. And our minds tends to focus more on the win and forget all the losses. So because of this reason,  gamblers get a high level of confidence  that winning is close,  even when the results is clearly showing otherwise.

I think pride is also involved in most scenarios,  because some people just don't want to accept defeat,  because quitting feels like you are admitting failure. So for that reason,  they will continue betting and hoping that one big win will prove that all the losses and time spent was worth it. This is also why I think exercising self control is the key to gambling.

The reason why people cannot give up gambling even after losing repeatedly is that on the one hand, gambling is a lot of fun, and on the other hand, the opportunities for big multiplayer winnings here make every gambler very emotional and do not let them lose hope. For this reason, even after losing repeatedly, everyone has an expectation that if he wins a big win, he will recover all his losses and he will be able to make big profits. Both of them are losing, the ones who are having fun and those who are in it for trying to make some money. Don't think that all winners are only having fun because many of them are also aiming for some money and luckily, they're winning. But those who are losing, many of them are not as well in it to make money but to have some fun. So, there's balance in it that both of them have their own reasons and yet, ends up mostly with the same results such as losing.

Here are my personal reasons.
First, I keep thinking that one day I might win big. If that happens I tell myself I will quit. But honestly, even if that moment come I'm not sure I will stop because I might already be addicted to casino gambling.
Still, I don’t consider myself fully addicted because I can control myself sometimes. Problem is that I can’t completely stop myself from gambling.
Second, I have a lot of free time and that often leads me to gamble. I’ve seen many videos saying that if you want to avoid gambling, you should keep yourself busy. Unfortunately, that advice doesn’t really work for me. Even when I’m busy I still find a way to gamble.

I can't agree with you on this, because it varies. you can be gambling for fun or for entertainment and still end up not winning a simple bet. While someone who is gambling with a target or desperately would be willing his or her bets back to back.

And there are numerous reasons why some persons don't quit and walk away after experiencing several losses. first reason is either they have gambled with the amount of money they can't afford to loose, so they continue gambling in other to recover their losses (chase after their losses)

Second reason is hope. There are gamblers who believe that, if they continue gambling that luck may come their way. So the hope that things may turn around make it difficult for them to quit and walk away even when results are clearly showing  that things are not working.

Third reason is addition. You can't expect someone who is addicted to gambling to quit and walk away or to quit gambling entirely after experiencing several losses. This set of  persons who are addicted to gambling would continue gambling after several losses, because gambling has become part of their nature or life.

These are the two things in my estimation that makes people keep going back to gambling. The hope that they will likely win big one day, and if they had won some money on the past, that experience and anticipation keeps them going. As for some people, it is just entertainment, to unwind and have some talking points when they are with friends. It’s like the in thing and so they need to be able to talk about their own gambling experiences whenever the conversation comes up.

You assume that these people who lose money are playing to win and make money from gambling, but some gamblers prefer to play out of fun, and just as a diversification from their work, although there are really gamblers who wants to milk the casino and don't want and cannot quit because they are endlessly looking for that magic formula and they can only find it by continously playing.

Also, if I may add: If you keep doing an activity (like gambling, drinking, drugs, food, and so on) too much, it can cause the dopamine release mechanism to not work as intended, eventually the disbalance of actually rewarding your brain for losing money will turn into an counter productive addiction.

Not gambling everyday and taking breaks (weeks, months, years) can have a protective effect on the brain. Especially since the brain needs to "reset" too.

They can't quit because... they simply can't.
They want to quit, their body wants to quit, but their mind? It says to him, "Gamble even more. It will make you better. Gamble even more, it will make the game more entertaining to watch." They want to, but they're being controlled.

There are gamblers who can't quit because they can't quit. You know that feeling when you're addicted into it already? Your body will always find it whatever happens, and if you don't do it for the day, you will feel that you're empty and you're missing something. That's what gamblers are feeling. It's very easy to say "Why not quit?" if you're not an addicted gambler because you can just quit gambling whenever you want to, but in the case of those addicted ones? It's very hard, and it will take time before they can do it.

They're gambling not because of money. Entertainment maybe, but they simply can't.

Everyone has emotions, ambitions, and expectations within themselves. This is why they continue to play even though years have passed and they have experienced that in most cases they lose more often than they win. However, defeat does not become a lesson for them. It is all about how responsible they are for the results they get. If they are truly not sincere about what they have lost, they will continue to try to play with high hopes based on despair.

This is why many gamblers lose large amounts of money. Simply put, they try to recover $10 but end up sacrificing $100 in the process, and the scenario continues like that. Everyone has the feeling that “this time I will definitely succeed.”

Is there anyone that has a special kind of luck in gambling that makes them invincible to losses? Every gamblers are losing everyday yet they don't quit, there are different reasons for that and to know it all, you have to go ask every gambler the reason why they are not quitting even while losing all day, including myself, I have not quit despite the losses, why's that? Probably because I'm now comfortable with the losses that is attached to gambling. Many other gamblers out there have their reasons.

Of course everyone wants to win, and they don't care how often they lose to achieve one big win. Gamblers are usually motivated to keep gambling and hoping they will win big someday.  Thiey are a kind of risking what they are not sure of getting return in the future but yet they are still doing. I see that as encouragement spirit amongst Gamblers. I think this people the most motivated people in the world because they don't give up easily. There is always that one mind that keep whispering to a gambler to keep pushing till your luck shine.
