Without doing any research I can actually say that gamblers that are benefiting from gamble in aspect of winning their bet are lower than the gamblers that are losing their bet because there's no guarantee to win any game except the gambler is lucky, which makes me believe that losers are more than the winners. If you observe properly, we could notice that the gambers that are winning their bet are likely gambling for entertainment (am not sure actually, probably not all of them), meanwhile those gamblers that are losing their bet are desperately gambling to make money through it. Even after multiple trials and no positive results, why not quit?.

What really made me create this thread is because I still can't figure out why people who lose often can't quite gambling or take a break even when they know that they can't win to recover their money.

The simple answer is that, quitting gambling is as hard as winning in gambling, this is a reality I will like you to get used to, regardless of the amount of losses gambler's incures, we most definitely see them gambling even more, all because their attempt to recover from their previous loses, most of us that have taken the time to understand the fundamental of gambling, we already know the Risk and we choose to gamble for the entertainment and not entirely for the winning.

So regardless of what the results is, we keep gambling and should incase you want to take an advice, only gamble with a very small amount of money in other not to be pained when your winning fails to come through.

This is funny though, but I must tell you that gambling comes with hope and high expectations. This implies that the more you lose the more you keep encouraging yourself that you must win in the long run, even when it is not guaranteed that you will win. This mentality is applicable to almost all gamblers. Like me I have been gambling and hoping to win big someday, and despite that, the one day has not yet come. But I am still gambling and expecting to win without quiting. The truth is that people find it hard to quit on something, expecialy when they make up their mind on something they expect much from.

But why is that in my experience, the number of losses is way more than the number of winnings?  It is quite impossible that the losses will be equal to the winnings because of the house edge.  Even if we compute it mathematically, the probability of the house winning is greater by how much the house edge is; thus, in the long run, we will suffer more losses than winnings.

Quitting gambling, whether temporary or permanent, is not as hard as long as the person gambles responsibly and has many diversions in life.

It's simple, if you quit now after all that loss then you are simply giving up and giving up is for losers. Believe me when I say that there are people out there with this mentality when it comes to gambling, they know they are losing, they know that stopping will mean not losing again but they also believe that if they stop now then all that they have lost would then become truly lost,  they are banking on the chance that a big win that will cover for all of the loses while still leaving them with enough to turn a profit is in its way to them and the only way to get that winning is to not quit gambling.

I don't even know what you are talking about here as I'm very sure I was clear in everything thing I wrote, you want to believe that the world is all about black and white and I can't blame you for wanting to think that way, a lot of people want the world to be their own fairy tale but the real world is filled with alot of gray areas, you don't have to believe me if you don't want to but there are people out there who can't bring themselves to quit or reduce how much they gamble simply because they feel quitting now would truly spell their loses. I also want to convey that those who choose not to pause for a moment instead of continuing the game are those whose emotions are already out of control, driving their minds with loud whispers that they will win.
This discussion will never end. It will always be there, even though they realize that forcing themselves to play will not lead them to their desired goal.

I also frequently encounter cases where those who frequently win because they play without aiming for victory, and I have even experienced winning to the point of withdrawing capital from the weekly bonus I received in my account.

First of all,  you can't outrightly conclude that those who are gambling for fun are the ones winning from gambling while those who are gambling desperately for money are the only losing, this is not exactly true..
And even though I agree that those who are winning from gambling are way lesser than those who are loosing, the fact also remains that there is a mixture, what I mean by mixture is that, there are no specific group of persons winning and specific group of persons losing, a person who lost today can win tomorrow and next and loose on the fourth, fifth and sixth day and maybe win on the seventh day and then continue losing again on the eight and ninth day and win on the tenth day and so on...

This is why it's hard for a gambler to quit except the gambler have made up their mind to, because if as a gambler, you quit gambling today because you feel you are losing too much, who are you sure you wouldn't have won tomorrow if only you kept gambling? This is what keeps a lot of gamblers going even with their long losing streak.

Yes, that is how it goes because they always have this feeling that the next bet will going to change everything and immediately they get the win, they wouldn't want to stop. OP, if that you understand human nature, you would have find out that, it is in our nature to be finding interest in things we love even though we fail in those things countless times, we will still be drawn to it, trying our luck as many times as possible till the time we decide on own to quit gambling because of the unbearable losses.

Indeed, I was there. Once you experience winning, it kind of becomes your lifeline or source of hope. You start thinking you can do it again. Even after losing for days or weeks, one good day with a green streak is enough to bring back your confidence. You start believing you can repeat it again and again. And even when the red streak comes back, that past win keeps your hope alive. It makes you keep playing because you’ve experienced winning before, so you believe you can do it again.

It's a matter of personal awareness they have to reach, otherwise I fear nobody else can help them. The desire to stop must come from inside in a genuine way.

Everyone who is into gambling, they gamble to try their luck, because their's no assurance of wining in the gambling, if people who manage to win in gambling, sometimes their winning comes by luck not by perfection if an not mistaken, winning gambling is by the grace, so rich people some of them gambles because of entertainment why people who lacks employment or jobs gambles because they wants to be making money through gambling, i will say most of people who gamble, their intention to gamble is to make win from gambling not to entertain themselves.
