Winning is hard, why not quit?

What really made me create this thread is because I still can't figure out why people who lose often can't quite gambling or take a break even when they know that they can't win to recover their money.

The answer to the question is simple, and it is simply because the majority of people who still gambles after losing believes that they will one-day be lucky too and win a jackpot when they continue gambling respectively with an amount they can always afford to lose. Because on the contrary, there are two types of gamblers, which includes the responsible gamblers and the addicted gamblers, who spends recklessly with the mindset of getting rich through gambling. Because if you are actually a responsible gambler who only uses an amount you can afford to lose each time you gamble, their will be no reason of worrying about quitting even when you lose, because initially you knew you had a 50/50% chance of either winning or losing and you accepted the fact.

Gambling are designed to favour only their betting platform not the players, that's why people lose more than they win,  majority of the gamblers knows the chances in Winning gambling are low but still continue because of their personal reasons such as, hoping that one day they may hit big win that will change their lives for better. Many  gamblers Chase losses, to recover the money they lose, in the process of chasing losses they may end up losing more. I will emphasize more on hope because it gives gamblers reasons to play more even after many losses, Winning in gambling is very hard but most people still gamble's because of hope, emotion and desire to recover all their losses the best way in gambling is to set limits, and see gambling as fun or entertainment not where to make money.

Gambling is designed to make casinos money. It seems to me that it doesn't make sense as a theory, because otherwise if we all won the gambling business couldn't exist. So there's no point in wasting time thinking about ripping off casinos. They are much better and have much more experience than us.

I prefer to treat casinos and bookmakers as service providers that offer a form of entertainment. When you look at it that way, everything feels different, we spend an interesting time, we may spend a certain amount of money on the gaming service, and at the same time we might also make a profit. Then the casino no longer looks like a scary criminal trying to take our money, but simply a business that provides services.

Gambling is not all about winning. How many gamblers win? I think most of them lose but they enjoy the excitement of gambling. I get more excited when I gamble and I feel very happy. Although money is the main thing that increases that excitement. Even if you lose, there is a place of joy in gambling that only gamblers can feel. Gambling has been like this for ages and will continue to be like this in the future. Gamblers will lose but their interest in gambling will not be diminished. That is why no one is encouraged to quit gambling even if the amount of winning is small.

Quiting might be hard as well as Winning is hard and one of the things to consider in gambling is that both entities are equal because the number of times you lose a bets is equivalent to the number of times you win. But quiting is the absolutely decisions to excaping from loses and addictions in the long run,whereas you can't keep up with the loses you quit but most times quitting becomes hard due to desperation and greed.

I do agree that quitting is hard no doubt about that, but the fact that your saying that the time you loose is equivalent to the times you win in gambling is actually wrong.
Your wins and your losses will always fluctuate some times your wins more than your losses while sometimes your losses more than you wins.
It's just the chances of winning that is 50/50.

The simple answer is that, quitting gambling is as hard as winning in gambling, this is a reality I will like you to get used to, regardless of the amount of losses gambler's incures, we most definitely see them gambling even more, all because their attempt to recover from their previous loses, most of us that have taken the time to understand the fundamental of gambling, we already know the Risk and we choose to gamble for the entertainment and not entirely for the winning.

Quiting gambling can only be difficult for those profit gamblers as for those who are gambling for entertainment sake or fun they won't find it hard to quit, 

Quitting gambling may also be hard for losing gamblers as they will always hope in winning soon. This alone make them to keep betting and after attain a small win layer, this draw them more close to gambling again and forget about the idea of quitting it. Gambling is often so difficult to quit unless you are just an occasional gambler.

Lossing gamblers is just the same as those profit  gamblers because they are the ones that keep chasing after their losses or hope to win soon, surely a lot of people (gamblers) easily get carried away by small win because they feel that their luck is around. having know that they will be force to go again and sometimes they  might even end up Lossing the small win back to gambling, after that they will start regretting why they didn't run away with the little win they have made.

Lossing gamblers is just the same as those profit  gamblers because they are the ones that keep chasing after their losses or hope to win soon, surely a lot of people (gamblers) easily get carried away by small win because they feel that their luck is around. having know that they will be force to go again and sometimes they  might even end up losing the small win back to gambling, after that they will start regretting why they didn't run away with the little win they have made.

The gambling market is a revenue-driven market and the casino operators know about this and are making use of the possibilities and chances to keep gamblers chasing a direction which ultimately keeps making the gambling sites rich and emptying the players each time of the way.

Gamblers who chase whatever direction will definitely not end well since the incurred losses will overrun whatever wins they may have ever recorded.

Early winnings are a trap and once you notice that you start losing, no need to chase the winning just take the leftover and call it a day for that period.

I don't encourage people to gamble, but I also don't tell them to stop when they are still doing fine. Unless they are addicted, which is something not good anymore.

In fact, nobody forces us to gamble, which means that there is a good reason for coming here. If we think there is still a reason for staying despite losing money, then why not? But of course, we should not urge ourselves to stay when we are also suffering a financial crisis. Some people say gambling is only for rich people, and it has a point because you can't stay longer if you don't have extra money to spend.

Without doing any research I can actually say that gamblers that are benefiting from gamble in aspect of winning their bet are lower than the gamblers that are losing their bet because there's no guarantee to win any game except the gambler is lucky, which makes me believe that losers are more than the winners. If you observe properly, we could notice that the gambers that are winning their bet are likely gambling for entertainment (am not sure actually, probably not all of them), meanwhile those gamblers that are losing their bet are desperately gambling to make money through it. Even after multiple trials and no positive results, why not quit?.

Are you sure that you aren't describing gambling addicts, when you are talking about people who can't quit or take a break?

Because it's not as easy as choosing to stop for them. Otherwise gambling addiction wouldn't exist. Brain of an addict isn't in control, as it's following this sort of faulty wiring, which drives them into this dopamine seeking loop where they don't see any exit from, because it's real to them and saying to "just quit", doesn't really make sense in that state of mind.

Addiction is a sickness, it's not about reasoning, and it's not constructive to try to see their motives like they would operate with same capacity as non-addicts do.

Only few people are gambling for fun, and those people gambling for fun are people that have stable source of income and gambling because of their passion for the game so the bet because they believe in what their team will do so they bet on them, if they win they are happy, and losing the money is never a problem for them because they never put it in mind. But gamblers like me and you that have calculated all the possible potential winning even before the money comes will never style for less because of greed that is why they mostly lose in gambling, and people that hardly bet or bet for fun do win money.

Gambling is not only for the rich, gambling is for everyone, as long as the person is capable of providing for themselves and earning a good amount of money, they can decide to do what ever they want with their money. Even most rich people don't gamble, the highest number of gamblers are poor people and middle class. Those that doesn't want to quit despite the lose has hope to win one day or they like the game for fun.
