Winning is hard, why not quit?

Thinking about making money will get you to losing even more and not only that because they will be a couple of side effects that comes with the loses which are depression and frustration and when this starts kicking in then it wouldn't take long before you start becoming an addicted gambler that would be chasing after his losses for as long as he has means to get funds before it gets out of hand.

Now it sound like a message I should pin right now smiles…I think that just correct the more you are having that feeling of making money through gambling that more you keep losing more money…now it sound to me like there is a prize one should pay before earning in gambling…that why i dont see it as meaningful means of making money because on the way it drain you financially,especially emotionally and such it’s really not what I really want for my self so it best to stop such….

I don't encourage people to gamble, but I also don't tell them to stop when they are still doing fine. Unless they are addicted, which is something not good anymore.

In fact, nobody forces us to gamble, which means that there is a good reason for coming here. If we think there is still a reason for staying despite losing money, then why not? But of course, we should not urge ourselves to stay when we are also suffering a financial crisis. Some people say gambling is only for rich people, and it has a point because you can't stay longer if you don't have extra money to spend.

It's okay to gamble and cry in the casino but I have one principle of friendship, if it's not working I will tell you to quit even if you are not addicted to gambling. Some people are gamblers today and not because they wanted to do it but because of conditions. You know how it feels for a perron to use his school fee to want to double the amount because they don't have money for school materials and what they want to it. This may sound funny but it happens alot in school.

Some people use their last card to gamble and because they got lucky, they think that gambling is the way. They continued to gamble and waste money to the point of no return. That's when you see them looking for a way to come out of debt when they are already down with addiction. To see that some gamblers are gone for good, you can give them money to clear their debt and they will use that money to bet again trying opportunities to double money.

Without doing any research I can actually say that gamblers that are benefiting from gamble in aspect of winning their bet are lower than the gamblers that are losing their bet because there's no guarantee to win any game except the gambler is lucky, which makes me believe that losers are more than the winners. If you observe properly, we could notice that the gambers that are winning their bet are likely gambling for entertainment (am not sure actually, probably not all of them), meanwhile those gamblers that are losing their bet are desperately gambling to make money through it. Even after multiple trials and no positive results, why not quit?.

What really made me create this thread is because I still can't figure out why people who lose often can't quite gambling or take a break even when they know that they can't win to recover their money.

Actually, we have more losers in gambling than gamblers who win. But gamblers are always optimistic even when they loose their bet. They feel that a day will come and winning will come , this feeling of optimism keeps them going and have no thought of quitting. Furthermore, their are still very few gamblers with strong decision who can still quit, and people with such strong decision must have faced or encountered huge losses so far gambling is concerned.

If you can lose, you just have to be prepared to do so. Everything is not the same for everyone. There are many people who have a strong income flow who regularly lose some money in gambling, but it does not have any negative impact on their lives. Then they become a habit of playing gambling regularly. Even if they do not bet a lot of money, they keep betting with small amounts of money, and even if they lose, they do not stop playing. I don't think it requires any expereince to be honest, one needs to be disciplined with their finance will never go crazy on gambling because they knows that it is a huge risk and chances of making it is very slim so better they will keep it just for the entertainment or they will not gamble at all unless it is some kind of promotional event that brought them freebet or something like that.

First things first is to actually know how to control your anger and emotions because that's what makes the whole difference when it comes to gambling, there might be situations when you might have planned how everything will work out and also the amount of money that you would want to spend or use but everything will just change in a matter of time the moment you let your emotions kick in and clouds your judgement.

Honestly, as far as gambling is concerned, setting realistic expectations is essentially important, even while you have a well thought out plan, you still need to make your expectations realistic else you’ll mostly end up being disappointed because most of the times things may not really work out the way we expect them to. Every gambler wants to win when they place a bet, but while you’re hoping for the best, one should also expect the worst as this would mostly reduce the chances of disappointment.

Gambling is mainly for entertainment, another thing is that to win in gambling you have to depend on luck, only lucky people can achieve success or win big money by gambling. Most people are very greedy, they do not believe in luck, they gamble in the hope of getting money quickly, their main goal is to make money very easily or get rich through gambling, they always think that it is possible to win a lot of money with a small amount of money. They gamble in the hope of winning a lot of money despite losing repeatedly, they believe that even if they do not win once, they will win next time and get back all the money they lost, as well as winning a lot of money. That's not really accurate, luck is an important Factor in gambling but relying on luck everytime can make you lose, because luck happens randomly, imagine winning in January and hoping to get lucky and you didn't end up winning till October, all because no personal efforts were made. I think what makes people professionals or experts isn’t about how much time you’ve spent gambling or how much confidence in yourself or your strategy you’ve been able to develop over the years but more about how much you’ve been able to really learn about defensive and safe gambling. How much you realize that gambling is really a game of luck and chances and your skills don’t determine your wins but rather increase the chances and how much realistic expectations they’re able to set for themselves, because anyone who claims to be an expert and still depends more on their skills to win to me is pretty much a fraud and isn’t being completely honest.

I feel we have been so much deceived by that very mindset that when ever someone decides to quit, it simply means that their winlning is near and quitting at that point is their own loss, this type of mindset have destroyed a lot of gamblers, as they know they should really stop gambling but this type of mindset made them to stay locked in until they eventually lost more than they can bear, and what ended the whole story is suicide due to frustration and disappointments.

I personally used to believe in this type of mindset but over time, I realized it's doing me more harm than good, I realized it simply makes me to keep lying to myself to continue to gamble when I should be taking a break, so I cut off the mindset completely.
Today, I stop gambling whenever i know I should stop and don't care what my mind tells me, one question I always ask is, why is it that its always when I want to quit that my something comes telling me my winning is close? That thing just wants me to keep playing and losing money.
