Hey, love this relaunch project !!

But to encourage engagement we need more peers. I had just one, despite adding every node I could see on this forum. Bootstrapped but still took about 30 hours to sync the final 14 days.

Maybe when explorer launches this quarter, people can add peers from there.

Good work though

Would you consider opening your P2P port and becoming a node to support the network? In the meanwhile, Ill see If i can furthur optimize syncing.

Please fix version numbers... the wallet still says v2.1.0 when it is supposed to be v2.1.3

addnode=209.29.186.23

Will do, Ill also add this peer to the source.

All changes pushed - The release build will finish soon.

Did you add all the IPs I listed?
I still only connect to 1.

Plus, the GUI is kinda lame.

When I click on Send and populate the TO line, then go into Coin Control, when I return it is all cleared. Very difficult to send coins to multiple addresses when the lines keep turning to blank.

How does staking work? I have around 4000 staked and I am getting 5 8bit every 5ish mins. I didn't specify this amount to stake and it seems to change itself.

I would like to start masternode too. But I need clear instructions.

What are the benefits to running a masternode?

Earning a stake is mostly random.
I have no idea on MN as I can not get one going... I have posted earlier what to do but this coin seems broken somehow.
I type: masternode list-config, and it gives me a blank reply.
I know I made my MN. I sent 10,000 to an address called MN01. I followed all the steps that every other (oldschool) MN coin uses.
I even get a reply with masternode outputs! So it is recognized.
I waited over 50 blocks of confirmation, even though it doesn't need that long, and still the same reply:
"errorMessage" : "could not find alias in config. Verify with list-conf."

Why is this error coming up?

It would greatly help which coin this was forked from. Then we can do research into this issue.

So heres the original ANN:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1028119.0

It was on bitbucket and completely dead when I found it. Feel free to look around. Hopefully I have some time this coming weekend and can spend some time. The sync issues make little sense, is it still miserably slow?

I have not looked into the MN system yet, perhaps they were discussed but never implimented. The PoS System is also quite odd, Ill have to look into that also.

I just wanted to launch a dead project to see how it would do. If you guys want to host some add nodes, Ill keep hosting the infrastructure. If we really wanted too we could relaunch from genesis - considering PoS blocks are so frequent - It may be prudent to set block times to 10-minutes to prevent blockchain bloat.

I see the MN fee changed. What other changes are there? Do you have enough coins to start your own MN?

Yeah, I have not started a masternode yet have you? I should update the OP with the procedure.

Nothing works.
It could be my router not port forwarding... but I do have another MN functional. Who knows.
It still says it is not even in the list-conf, which is odd.

I still only see 1 peer. I've seen peer issues like this in old coins. Networking code has greatly changed in a decade. ;-)
