I thought Donaire still has those explosive punches, but I think it was not the same as it was before. I saw the counter punches connected on the face of Masuda, but it done nothing at all.  Donaire's speed is also gone, this simply shows that it is really time for him to retire.

His punches and speed have dramatically decreased over the years, I just hope he realises now that it's time for him to retire. If this fight had happened during his prime, I have no doubt that he would have won this easily. He was a beast back then, and if you ask me, he would even win against Inoue if he fought him during his prime.

Perhaps Casimero doesn't have the intention to bad mouth Donaire and it could have been just lost in translation. And everyone couldn't agree more with that statement, age is catching up or did catch up with Donaire here. It's evident that his prime years is gone and that he better be retiring the soonest and enjoy life. If only Casimero could go back to bantamweight, I think he could still dominate the Japanese fighters. Judging by his record, I don’t see him as a bad fighter at all. Though overall it’s still Donaire who has the better career, but Casimero is younger so he still has time left to keep fighting.

What’s sad for him is that he wasn’t really given the chance to fight the best. He kept calling out Inoue, but Inoue never agreed, so he just kept chasing him and throwing trash talk, hoping it would eventually lead to that fight.

Actually theres nothing wrong to criticitze if he didnt want the intention of badmouthing then the word garbage shouldnt be the term used. There were lot other word he can used right. Maybe only because of lost in translations ( Hope so)

Casimero is well known for that and those boxing fans following him knows that he didn't mean to hurt the feeling of Donaire, since most provably the word he just way is just an expression. But we cannot take out the fact that Donaire's fans may take those words as negative since maybe there are some people can't accept the recent defeat gotten by their idol.

He’s really known for throwing trash talk, not just to other boxers but even to his fellow countrymen, so I don’t think it’s just a translation issue, he probably meant it. But we shouldn’t make it a big deal, sometimes we Filipinos just get too affected by words.

We have to remember they are boxers, it’s normal for them to be overconfident and not afraid to criticize anyone in public. Whether it’s true or just a way to get attention, which is very possible for Casimero since he’s chasing big fights, that’s just part of the game.

I'm a fan of both fighters, but between the two, Donaire has a better career. We can all see that the promoters' respect is still there, as he is getting better offers compared to Casimero, who hardly gets decent fights lately. You never disrespect a legend One day, Casimero's day will come, and he will be worse than garbage.
And about Donaire he needs to hang up his gloves while the respect of the community is still there, he had money a good family and of course a rich legacy in boxing.
