Gambling is indeed a psychological game, the uncertainty of not knowing if you are going to win the next round or most times when you end up not playing the next round it would seem like you missed a bug opportunity, this thought alone can be very frustrating and can make you start gambling recklessly and this can make you lose. This is what makes it feel like the game is totally manipulated in order for the house to make profit. It is a psychological game and if you are not careful as a gambler you might get caught up in it
This can turn into a psychological game for you if you give in to emotions. When you decide that in order to recover your losses as quickly as possible you’re ready to increase your stake, and try to win it back the same day, it means you’ve given in to your emotions, and can’t control the situation. In such case you will most likely lose your entire deposit, but if you’re able to act rationally and control yourself, even by setting a daily betting limit, it can help you avoid this psychological trap.

I have found myself in such situation before, that's why I said before now that seems the casino sometimes gives us the wins just to trap us and when they have showered us with some wins, the moment we increase our bet size of the moment we feel more comfortable as if we can take advantage of that win, that's when they start to take it back in double fold until the gambler is left with zero balance. Most gamblers don't always resist that urge to gamble after winning the first 5 rounds.

Both of you were right, gambling is truly more a matter of psychology than anything. The greatest pitfall is the temptation to pursue losses, since after the emotions come into play, then there is no rational thinking anymore. Most of the players are winning a little too early, and thus they develop a sense of confidence and the belief that they can determine the outcome, which is just due to luck. Once they suffer losses they do not quit, they pour their money in an attempt to recuperate within a short time and this normally results into greater losses. It does not necessarily require the house to manipulate something on its part, human behavior already gives it the advantage. Limits can be helpful though unless a person is disciplined most gamblers will see themselves in the same cycle of losing time and again.

The funniest thing about gambling is when someone calls someone else "lucky." I've always wondered how anyone could possibly believe in "lucky people." It's completely impossible. Most likely, people are overfitting—hastily trying to fit limited random facts into a pattern. Although, in reality, it's simply being fooled by randomness. It's easy to believe you're lucky if you accidentally win five bets in a row, for example. But only the sixth losing bet will put everything in its place.

It does not only depend on luck, as gambling is primarily a psychological game in which emotions have a significant role. Initially, small victories will build confidence and make players feel that they are in charge, but it will tend to drive them into a dangerous attitude. Once the losses start, most people attempt to recoup them as fast as possible by putting more stakes and this often leads to greater losses. This is the cycle of making losses and most gamblers become entangled in this cycle. The house will always be on the long term and emotional decisions will not help the situation. It all depends on discipline, and following it. Gambling is dangerous and uncontrollable once it involves recovering the losses rather than having fun.

After losing five bets in a row, you get back to life after winning the sixth time and this is the perfect way to get mental satisfaction and forget about previous losses. How can you call winning gamblers lucky when they are not winning through skill maybe they are making random bets or sometimes planned bets. Whenever someone wins big in a casino, you will never see them winning because of skill most of them win because of luck. Or when you win most of the time it is also because of luck. Finally after winning most of the bets, your comment is that I won because of luck and most of the time skill is being underestimated.

True, if one doesn't give room to irresponsible gambling, there will be no way they can be affected psychologically if gambling doesn't go as they planned, which is why its important that they should set limits to how they patronise gambling, so that it will not get out of hand or control, because irresponsible gambling often cause or lead one into losing control when gambling and this doesn’t really makes sense because it will not be of good benefit to their lives.

If you understand this, you can continue playing without increasing your bet. However, I believe that a casino can't choose who wins and when, because casino games have providers, or dealers in some games, and they have no influence over betting. Therefore I don't agree that a casino can give players winnings to entice them, unless it's a fraudulent casino operating without a license and somehow able to influence its games.

Therefore I don't agree that a casino can give players winnings to entice them, unless it's a fraudulent casino operating without a license and somehow able to influence its games. I am with you on this one. Apart from cases of fraud, casinos use random systems because they make a profit through the house edge (as long as they have enough traffic). If you understand how casino math works, you won’t start thinking up conspiracy theories about them letting you win just to fleece you later. And, actually, what Dr.Bitcoin_Strange describes is typical fish behavior: winning at first, thinking you’re on a roll instead of realizing you’ve probably had more luck than you deserve in the long run, and increasing your bet thinking the streak will continue. When the normal outcome is to end up losing. But instead of acknowledging the flawed thinking, their mind conjures up a conspiracy theory to justify that they haven’t done anything wrong—it’s the evil casino that’s conspiring against them.

What do you think ?
Gambling is so exciting and exciting because it is uncertain. Gambling is about betting money on an uncertain outcome. No matter how you look at it, uncertainty is common in gambling. Whether you play slot games or play any other casino game, sports betting or any bet is based on uncertainty. If the outcome was certain, no one would be in the casino business and no one would gamble. Because since the number of losses in gambling is high and you know you are going to lose, why would you lose money by gambling? No sane person would do that. People still gamble in the hope of winning one.

Gambling is indeed a psychological game, this is why it's beyond anyones reach, you have no control or strategy that can keep you winning for the long run, there are too many things to deal with as a gambler.
Emotions, chances, luck, risks, everything, the dopamine release in the brain when gambling can create a pleasurable sensation that gets pretty hard to forget, the feeling keeps you in a loop like hole where you won't be able to control yourself.
It's easier to believe nonsense and overestimate your chances of winning even if all odds are against you, it's hard to be in total control as a gambler without your mind playing tricks on you.

If you lack discipline when you are gambling and do not have a proper bankroll management then you are right that it will never end good for that person and they will keep losing more and more. I know that it is not the same for everyone but this should be something that we can safely assume as the best and just focus on getting a better return. When you gain that experience, suddenly you become a better person and better bettor as well and overall your gambling becomes better because you will not be losing that much. I think it's clear that we will see plenty of people who will end up with bad results but many who end up going on after those bad results will grow to become gamblers who are much better on the long run.

If the losing gambler knew that he would lose again on the next bet, he would not bet.
Of course, no gambler would dare that fully aware that it's a negative outcome. But the second thought: what if it wins again? Is what traps gamblers. And truly, it might win again, or lose again...hahaha All depends on our correct speculation, which makes gambling a powerful psychological game.
