For me, I think the best approach the Philippines government should have done is to blacklist all the casinos that have been proven to be scammed and have no operating licenses on the same social media which the Gen-Z saw it and were attracted to its unrealistic bonuses and offers which lured them into gambling. Because I'm 100% sure that the main reason why the majority of youths fall victim to these fake casino scams is simply because they are ignorant of it. And secondly, eager to make money quick in a fast means. So until a quick and prompt action is been taken to address this issue within the Philippines, more people will still fall victim to this fake casino scams. So blacklisting them and promoting it on social media will drastically create awareness and reduce the rate of fake casino scam.

It is generally believed that celebrities or influencers are the main drivers or promoters of these illegal platforms. Young people easily believe what these influencers say. The government should pass laws that restrict these influencers from promoting unregistered casinos.  

You have actually made a valid point,those influencers are the major contributors to illegal platforms(online casinos).Their fans tend to believe every word that comes out from their mouth without them doing their own personal findings.Though the story I’m about saying has nothing to do with the gambling space but it’s similar to this scenario about celebrities sugarcoating illegal platforms or asset,year back I could remember vividly about a celebrity that came up with he’s own shitcoin,and he succeeded in dragging he’s followers and others that believed into investing in he’s shitcoin that didn’t even last for a month.

If the government is ready to track down these gambling platforms that are scamming gamblers and taking away their money, they will do it and that will reduce the number of casinos online. At least this will limit how often gamblers are losing their money to the wrong casinos. It is the duty of gamblers especially the newbies to ask questions before using any casino.

We should stop wishing and start figuring out how we can get them on this platform to know what gambling site they can use. Any Philippines in the house who can show us what we can do or ask questions to his other Philippines brother who can help. If this scams continue, it can causes a greater threat to good online gambling sites. More over the government might just stop warning them and place a permanent barn on gambling. We need to act fast. My take.

Well, that last statement of yours is very important as it always on the gambler side to take their research before depositing their money, the government will onlu act if there's already a scamming incident, if there's complain they may act and will trace those scam website or app to stop them, but they won't do anything till there's a victim that will complain that they lose their money, so like the doctor always said, prevention is better than cure, same deal with scam sites better to prevent than being sorry after.

Thats not only that but there were children who were also able to play on their phones, they got addicted, same with their elders , they spend the money that were supposed to be for their family, gambling also make people spend the money they dont own, heard of the person who gamble the money , its the salary for the employee and lots of things.
There should be a proper rules and that should be implemented, while its not prohibit for adult, gambling should be moderate, on the influencers they should not do a live since platforms like facebook, there are lots of viewers even kids there should be a platform were they can select who will be in it.

Exactly... IIRC, last year they introduced penalties for anyone who promotes such things, but even though some influencers clearly do it, they still haven't made an example out of someone ^[SMH].

Despite the government warning to the citizens, it won't stop everyone from still falling victim for those scam casinos, I always wish that when government identifies some issues that the citizens are facing, they would handle it with the right solution, I believe that it's mostly the social media influencers in that region that are promoting this illegal gambling platforms, what the government should do is to arrest those influencers and make them pay some fines for promoting platforms that keeps scamming people. When they start apprehending those influencers, the rest of them will not want to be the next scape goat.

It’s the sad reality in general. Here in Philippines there’s still a lot of people that’s uneducated on online scam. They easily fall on the “free money” scheme and later on require deposits to withdraw the free money.

This is an obvious scam scheme yet many gullible Filipino gambler still fall for it because they are looking for the potential free money. Scammer here is preying on the gullibility of Filipino gambler.

There’s also influencers that promoting scam casino in exchange for huge payment.

Let the government track down the individuals who are promoting these fake casinos and arrest, let them be fined a huge amount of money that will cause them to spend all the money they were paid to promote the casinos, after which they should still face prison sentence for some months and when they are finally out, they will definitely stay far away from taking deals from fake casinos sites. In a whole country, I understand that it's not everyone that is smart enough to stay away from scams like this.
