In sports betting, who do you really trust? The tipsters who show profit for a while, or yourself believing that in the long run you can be profitable if you keep learning.

It pays to be open-minded and check or accept outside sources. This is gambling, we are trying to get the best options or results, so I don't mind checking their tips and compare it on my own to do an analysis, and if the tipster's bets make more sense, then I'm more willing to change my bet.

Trusting yourself or a tipster doesn't guarantee you will win $$$ right? You have your knowledge and a tipster believes in their knowledge. With AI having damn near every stat you can ask about, tipster instincts and insights, and your own instincts and insight you can utilize all of it and make the best bet IMO. No need to only rely on 1, even with all 3 though, it does not guarantee a profit. Anything can happen in sports and games can be fixed.

I guess the easy answer is that you should trust yourself more than others. Maybe you can look at the tipsters and see if you have both the same result. The problem though might arise if you have different result. In that case, I will still go with my bet.

That is the thing though with new bettors around, they followed supposedly good tipster, but it's not a guarantee profit, it might be better if they will have to learn sports betting themselves instead of blindly trusting those tipster. So that's for me, developed my own skills and analysis to be profitable.

I have a bad experience with tipsters. My friend and I once bought tips from a tipster because we saw that most of his bets were winning. But when we followed his tips, the results were far from what we expected and the tipster just disappeared. Luckily I only bet a small amount at that time, but I feel bad for my friend who spent a lot of money on it. Since then I no longer trust tipsters no matter how good their results look. Now I rely on my own analysis instead of depending on someone else's picks. Sometimes I still check tipster recommendations as a reference, but I always combine it with my own analysis before making any decision.

If that's one I'm followed I definitely tail it but will probably research more rather than just some blind tailing as it will not give me more edge on my bet, what gives more edge is that you got idea from the tipster but you also do your own research and trust your gut. I definitely not comfortable if they are in  a winning streak tbh because just one wrong tail and you go all in you'd definitely be out of bankroll.

I'd rather learn it and do it myself. Why? Simple. It's for long-term use.

When a sports bettor gains knowledge about how his favorite game works and the options in sports betting, then I believe he can do it himself. It's just laziness that sometimes ties us to not doing the research because we either do not have time or we are just pure lazy.
The internet is available for everyone, and we could simply Google all the stats, records, injury reports, weather, and so on and forth that could affect the game and the players. There will be times that we will lose because games can change all of a sudden due to different reasons, but for me, it feels better if I lose using my own prediction.
