Tipsters or your own picks, who do you trust more?

it really is up to you if you can trust others. personally i'd overthink and second guess someone unless they have the same prediction as mine but in that case, what is the point of consulting tipsters if we have the same analysis? i'd rather lose on my own terms

Indeed, in my opinion, the most powerful thing in this case is relying on one's own choices. Sometimes we might consult with tipsters, but sometimes we hesitate to follow them, and ultimately, our own choices are made.

Even some people who trust tipsters don't seem to win more often, so it's not much different from losing, which remains the most common occurrence.

I've always liked relying on myself because I understood that it had long-term benefits. Someone who constantly listens to others won't be able to be independent. And those who have developed analytical skills, a keen eye, and perhaps the ability to see things that aren't immediately obvious—all of this combined will help me as a player in the long run. Of course, many players don't want to overthink and strain themselves, but I have a different path, one I've chosen for myself and will continue to follow.

A desperate move for some while for others a lazy act instead of doing their homework trying to analyze, they choose to follow those tipster to the point that they are willing to pay for the service, some of those gamblers knew that there's no assurance but still continue to believe that the chance may increase if they follow and pay for it, some may bring good results while other won't not. Still going to depend on how a gambler treat things and how they process their own gambling style and participation.

This is actually facts, some so called tipsters just buy telegram channels that already has lots of followers then they start posting random games on the channel, some are even copied from other punters and not really something that they put in time to come up with, this is the reason why I don't trust most of these punters especially the ones that ask bettors to pay for subscription to get predictions.

I actually bet on those games or sports that I have basic knowledge about, such as cricket and football, and I have knowledge about both of these and I can explore them, and I think that by analyzing some simple facts, especially how a team's previous performances were and also knowing whether all their players are fit or whether any players are injured or which players have returned from injury, it is actually easier to make predictions and you can rely on your own predictions.
And what I basically do is that I give more priority to my own analysis when placing a bet, and sometimes if I feel in doubt, I compare it with the analysis of some analysts.

Some greedy gamblers go as far as getting free tips from top gamblers and selling it in their own telegram community to make money if they are in winning streaks. Greedy gamblers are really making money from tips calling it a sure bet when they know that anything can happen in sport and no team is perfect to be having a sure wins everytime.

I also find it a bit strange. In the end, betting should be more about entertainment.

But I think many people pay tipsters because they don't trust their own choices or want to make the process easier, thinking someone has an advantage. The problem is that there's no guarantee, so it can end up being just another risk.

For me, it loses some of its appeal too, unfortunately.

What happens when you look at other analysts and their analysts go against your pick? Do you skip the bet or do you try to make a logical choice based on your own reasoning? Imagine you’re in doubt and end up choosing the opposite because the tipster seems to have better analysis, so you follow their pick. But in the end, your original pick actually wins. This has happened to me before and when it does, I feel a lot of regret for not trusting myself especially in sports where I have knowledge.

Following someone without thinking ends in detachment where you blame other people for your losses instead of finding out why bet fails and making your own study helps person see real value, between team winning and odds given by betting site being wrong. Even pro players can only win about 55 percent, so every person who says that he has 90 percent win rate has likely lied because he or she is willing to take advantage of someone who does not want to work hard to do his study.

I believe that taking tip is like renting house which you can lose any time while doing math yourself is  act of making something which will always be your own. Especially with the sport that you have better understanding but because someone or you read somewhere that the tipster is good then you choose to follow his lead then lose, that's regretful which leave a mark with your emotions, if you follow your own understanding the outcome for your gambling is for your favor but still an experienced to let go if you would choose to move forward and continue with your gambling.
