Thank you for that detailed work you did and I comperely agree with you that this is not a case of scam but someone promoting his referral link/code to a legitimate exchange, although his manner of going about it makes it look suspicious.
Such people don't do it for free. Perhaps they are earning a commission for every user that registers through the link and trades. The problem is they start spamming the link all over like that user had started doing

There is. It doesn't matter if the platform is legitimate or not. it was put there to curb the referral link spam; otherwise, this forum would have been a big mess with links all over different posts

I don't see much difference between that and some.signature campaigns that are designed with unique affiliate link of the participants to be able to monitor the traffic from such users.
There is a huge difference. Referral links on posts encourage referral link/code spam, while signatures don't. You don't have to keep posting about the same service in every other post just because you want to share the referral link/code
Secondly, referral links or affiliate links are allowed in signatures.
