This topic was posted by a newbie, who seem to be an old-timer. Although it got deleted almost immediately, I noticed something off; he already had a similar shilling thread in the local board on the same exchange, and the replies were strongly against him. I wouldn't really pry into this, but was the translated version necessary? He's definitely up to something.

For better clarity, I ran the site on trust pilot and the reviews looked more like a bait than a honest feedback. Then a denial of indemnities, warnings and a notice of unauthorized operation.
Edit: Please beware of this type of scam. I won't conclude that this is a scam until evidence suggests otherwise.

The user in question is trying to shill his referral link across the forum. I checked the thread posted in the Russia local board, and it's not the same as the deleted one, but the same exchange is being shilled.

I don't know if the exchanges are aware of this type of promotion or if the users just do it themselves due to the affiliate commission they will get from the exchange, because the exchange in question is among the top 100 according to CoinMarketCap We also have some users who do shilling for the Bitget exchange here in the forum for a different pattern. If the exchanges are really aware, then they should do better.

the topic was deleted because of a referral link and not because of scam, but it's too good to be true and I don't think anyone would want to use this service. such scammers do not have a specific goal, and as long as the cost of creating accounts here is almost zero, they will try their luck.

I am not defending the exchange, but it is not a scam as far as i recall.  If my memory serves me right, it was the exchange that ushered in a new era of futures contracts for crypto, which the likes of Binance and Bybit started offering later. That exchange is most likely over ten years old, and it was so popular back then when one wanted to trade crypto derivatives, mostly XBT (Bitcoin). They then got hit with fines, and the then CEO Arthur Hayes got arrested, tried and fined as well

The exchange started enforcing strict KYC verification and would later lose its popularity to other exchanges since it offered only futures at the time.

The user in question on the other hand is posting with referral codes and should be reported

Thank you for that detailed work you did and I comperely agree with you that this is not a case of scam but someone promoting his referral link/code to a legitimate exchange,  although his manner of going about it makes it look suspicious.

I don't see much difference between that and some.signature campaigns that are designed with unique affiliate link of the participants to be able to monitor the traffic from such users.

Such people don't do it for free. Perhaps they are earning a commission for every user that registers through the link and trades. The problem is they start spamming the link all over like that user had started doing

There is. It doesn't matter if the platform is legitimate or not. it was put there to curb the referral link spam; otherwise, this forum would have been a big mess with links all over different posts

There is a huge difference. Referral links on posts encourage referral link/code spam, while signatures don't. You don't have to keep posting about the same service in every other post just because you want to share the referral link/code
Secondly, referral links or affiliate links are allowed in signatures.
