Forum is certainly NOT dead, but it changed a lot since the early days.
People nowadays are not using forums so much, they moved to social media platforms, and they have short attention problem.

Mining dropped off a lot  since 2021

so both sections on mining are much less looked at.

there were tens of thousand of good posts on mining from 2011 to 2022

Nah, that account was really old. And I didn't even talk about my bots before like a week ago, when I finished the 5th version, which I really like and think is good enough for a partnership with somebody. Before I used them myself.

This forum is far from dead, just because some sections aren't that popular anymore, just like philipma mentioned doesn't mean it's dead. Of I'm also not mistaken, there were a lot more signature campaigns in the past.

It's more of a yes than a no. If you look at the recent influx and aggression of some trolls, then maybe he, or they, can't calm down.

So, from what generation are you coming and can you remember your old username?

If he had an account before and he doesn't talk about it because his "history isn't entirely clean," then I think he'll "try to forget" the nickname. Although even old accounts on the forum are revived after losses, if desired, here, as you can see, is another story.

Reddit is not good either...

OP "broke into" the forum with his idea, but after he was disappointed by Reddit, thinking that he would find like-minded people here, he realized that his ideas did not impress anyone here either, and began the usual criticism of a weakling.
OP, you should not blame others for the inattention; rather, look in your direction. Perhaps you have flaws, and therefore it makes sense to improve not society, but yourself.

I don’t see anything wrong with people wearing avatar and working for campaign to earn money, there is absolutely nothing wrong with that, you could actually grow your account to a level where you’ve to work for a campaign and earn money as well.

There's a considerate influx of new accounts that look like they're alts of someone else. The majority of them remain newbies or are simply created just to create a troll or drama topic and disappear, trying to make a statement. Some others manage to stick around and evolve, even rank-up, but their purpose remains the same, troll and be involved in drama. In this case, it's most likely the first option, and it might as well be a salty user who's mad at others for being in campaigns while he's not.

The information I need about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency world, makes this forum a better place with real life explanations and comments instead of using Google or chatgpt which may only brush the surface of any topic but without real human experience inherent.

This forum is a community of like minds and if some earn here in the process, it's a good initiative and good thing because it would be that this forum is giving back to the world and contributing to the economic state of individuals who may on a normal day not be able to earn crypto currencies unless it is by buying coins directly or doing jobs that has the option to earn in cryptocurrency.

Very good rhymes and composition clearly stating the current situation here, I think most times what leads to this issues is the mere fact that one probably lost the ability to to wear the banner too and that aggravates many.

Furthermore, the forum is dead OP you just woke it up, I think we need to organize and award for you for coming back and revive the dead forum and in the lands of the dead their is always one person awake to raise the dead. Maybe our savior is here, guys please be nice.

i do not think those with "ads" or those wearing banners are affected by how they post. they were able to reach that point wherein they are trusted enough to be in campaigns hence why they now wear banners. aren't we all just trying to make discussions here?

as someone who visits reddit every now and then, i can say that reddit is worse than bitcointalk. there are a lot of people there and the more mainstream something is, bigger chances of it being infiltrated by those not really part of the community.

Signature campaigns changed the vibe but the technical boards still have real discussion. Off topic areas got noisier, sure, but the signal is still there if you know where to look.
