But what if someone turns AI-generated art into NFTs? Will it become viral? Or will it be just another passing fad like the NFT craze of user-made digital art? Also, what are the legal implications of doing such a thing? Will the person selling AI-generated art for profit be accused of copyright infringement (assuming the AI used copyrighted content)?

So that art has become a new way to farming people money. Someone generated AI-art NFT, then he sells it to the market. This is the reason why NFT AI seems terrible idea. It's just giving a way to scammer to create a bubble NFT by generate it, then continuously selling it.

It will not. There are so many platforms to generate AI-art NFT such as chaingpt. Has it evern been viral? no it has not. People knew so many shady grifter behind it.

It's just a short term hype. There's no exclusivity nor copyright in the AI-art NFT. So this is the reason why many abandoned it, even some accused people are scammer when he's launching AI-art NFT, then sells it for pennies.

I've never seen an AI-generated NFT go viral, but if it were AI-generated art, I'd see it. Did you know "Tung Tung Sahur" that went viral recently? It's the work one of our country's creators & it's gone viral worldwide. AFAIK, anything generated by AI isn't copyrighted. So, it shouldn't be a problem if we create art from AI & profit from it financially.

Whether an NFT goes viral depends on the level of promotion their team does behind the scenes. They have to hire influencers with thousands, hundreds, or even millions of followers to spread fake news about the benefits of NFTs, and so on. This scheme never changes, and I've noticed it on social media over the past few days. Their narrative can turn even a bad project into a good one, but therein lies the problem.

Regardless of whether the NFT was generated using AI or not, it's ultimately difficult to discern its authenticity. Instead of investing in NFTs, I personally prefer to focus on the narrative of AI/robotics agents, which require real-world data to perform household/kitchen tasks.

I knew we will get to that point because AI can be very creative and right now X is awashed with AI generated graphics. As people have found a way of creating NFT through AI, we should expect the inrernet space to be littered by different projects in that line. One thing is certain that people will lose money from this after they have been hyped.

I don't think so. Even if there will be another batch of NFT - AI generated that has the potential to become viral, I don't think it will do. People got tired of NFTs already and however they are made. And most of us are already avoiding it even if such pump happens because we think that it can be a trap. If someone is able to make it viral and they're thinking of legal matters, that might be the good thing to wait on this narrative. I haven't seen such but let's see if some influental guy will make this thing a viral or a sensation but about its life, I really think it will not stay for so long.

Isn't AI generated NFT art already a thing? from what I've seen in this bullrun there are tons of NFT generated purely with AI from NFT spammer to legit NFT deployed by reputed deployer.
All of them of course, tanked when NFT trend faded and they have no problem with copyright because everything coming from AI is considered non copyrightable. Neither the NFT maker nor anyone else in this regard have the claim to the art.

It seems that the glory of NFTs will not return to the crypto market, in the past NFTs were made by someone who understood how to make digital art with his own hands but after the existence of AI this is even easier to do and of course the supply of images will be much more, there is no principle of scarcity and uniqueness, and this becomes of no value if everyone can create NFTs / images.

What might be rare is the prompt, is that possible?
Copyright can be related to prompts, because AI is probably more like a machine to produce something the brain behind it is the core value, unless there is something more complicated than that about copyright registration.

Frankly, the NFT market is a rare phenomenon, so I don't think it's wise to invest in it as a long-term investment.

I think it will be the end of NFTs because the moment AI is deployed for NFT generation, many people will start it and everyone would want to develop a project on that. This will lead to proliferation and lack interest eventually since it is so common. If NFTs are hard to generate, the value automatically increases unlike when it is everywhrre and easy to make.

That's even worst. If you think you've seen enough scams during the 2021 NFTs area, you haven't seen yet because then, it took a long time to get the arts ready. These days, it would take less than 3 days to get an AI generated NFT art up and running and with this increased creation scale, the amount of projects that would be launch out of pure purpose of grifting will be infinite until all of the avaliable retail liquidity that will flock to those new NFT projects are wiped out.

Even if this AI craze has started for its generation of new NFTs. It's not even starting, the NFT market has already been dead long time ago.

I don’t see sense in it because whatever prompted you give to an AI it can supply that so someone else to do exactly the same at that you did and so their is no specialty to the art and for what I know, the value of art is the fact that it’s rarely replicated and AI being able to replicate itself, I don’t see anyone claiming to sell NFTs generated by AI and buying seem to be an impossible mission in my opinion.

There has already been AI generated NFTs. Usually, there is some utility tied to them, because AI art in and of itself isn’t something which people would pay a lot of money for. Some of the ones I have seen were used for games or quests that you could earn money from. There was also some of Trump’s NFTs that were AI generated. If the collection was launched by anybody else, these NFTs would be worthless.

NFTs created by generative AI won’t ever become popular, because they require no skill to create. If they had meaningful value, the market would become inundated with this kind of art, which would drive down prices.

Only crazy people will think about buying AI generated NFT's and its really crazy idea to think about investing on those type of NFT's.

Even looking at human created NFT still hard to trust, since NFT's is already pass on their primes and usually what came out now are those fast scams. How much more on those AI generated NFT's right? for sure everything will be fast and we might see a same like meme coin situation there which scams will dominate compare to legit projects.

So yeah its not really a wise choice to invest on this and better find other more reliable alt or just go straight away on Bitcoin if they want for long term.
