If I had to guess, I would assume this war in the middle east would push people who gamble to redirect their resources to other things which are more important, like food, shelter and personal security. Yes, I think that it forces them to do the priorities they have to. And set aside gambling. So, that makes them more responsible as of this moment when it's really needed to be done.

It's strange that someone in the middle of a war would still be thinking about gambling. Normally, people stop gambling and focus on saving money and buying food because war reduces food supplies, causing prices to rise significantly. That's why people tend to save all the money they can to buy food, no matter how high the price.

People in wartime don't think about investments, they don't think about entertainment. They forget all that because they don't know how many days, months, or years they'll be alive. Here in my country, there have been wars, and there's still a war happening in another province. First of.all, I don't gamble constantly but even as an occasional gambler I don't think the war has any effect on my gambling activities because I don't live in a country where the war has a direct impact or affects us in any way so this hasn't changed the way I see gambling. For those living in the middle East gambling is going to be the last thing on their mind at the moment because of the ongoing crisis.

Probably you will save your funds for personal use or for your family for future use. War affected areas have different impact on their daily necessities like foods, water, etc. so yes, you as a gambler will probably stop for the mean time. It also happened with the attack on Venezuela back in January the 3th, there were some strange movements on money on Polymarket, which betted on the attack just a week before it happened.

Sadly, wars have become an opportunity for insider military personnel to profit from all their information, in detriment of people who try to analyze geopolitical scenarios with public information.

The element of uncertainty, such as in this case, causes a lot of carefulness in the expenditure that people engage in as prices of the basic commodities can soar in no time. Although gambling is not entirely about money, the economic strain may also influence how much money an individual is willing to bet which is not necessarily as a form of entertainment. I would also tend to cut my budget on gambling in the event the matter deteriorates. In times of unstable world, it is always better to find a way of saving money and to get the daily needs covered before going into other investments. Most of the Middle East countries are not saddled with the war raging, they are busy with their activities and daily life, but they are cautios about it because it is within their territory and any escalation would definitely come close to them, hence they are trying to make sure the raging countries are at peace but the US is not in the middle east to say and that makes it more worrisome because they are kind of igniting the middle east against themselves.

I am far from these countries and have not even lived in Dubai, although most of my friends either lived or still live there. For me, this war now exists only in the headlines, but this does not mean that I do not wish everyone peace in this conflict. Well, for me, the topic of war and gambling is related only in terms of the fact that soldiers gamble because they want to distract themselves from the horror that is happening around them. I've heard these stories and read about them. Unfortunately, military personnel are often unprepared for the fact that the war is so terrible, and this is especially true for mobilized, unprepared people. And they get paid. But what's the point?
