Strait of Hormuz now open?

Iran’s foreign minister, Abbas Araghchi, said on Telegram that the strait “is open to everyone, except American ships and those of its allies.”

US is demanding for their ships and that of Israel's or other allies to be passed through the strait but Iran is standing on their ground. This might anger US even further and since they have threatened to further cause destruction in Iran, we might not see this war end soon. If the strait was opened, this could offer some relief for other countries not really part of this war. But will it really be successful? Can they really pass through the strait with this chaos ongoing?
Even with this statement, it still feels that we are stuck doomed and keep expecting oil prices to keep rising.

Iran's closing of the Strait of Hormuz has increased their power, but we have to see who Iran is marking as dead. However, Iran is being monitored by the Western countries, and the two countries with the most stringent sanctions are the United States and Israel. However, we have to think that until it completely lifts the blockade, oil prices will not come under control.

This is what I am trying to understand. If the oil supply from the Middle East is around 20% then there's still the 80% of it that can help the other countries that are reliant to the ME's crude oil. But even with that, we're badly affected and we have no idea how long the stock of our biggest gas companies still have left in their tankers.

The problem is also that the oil is not all equal: oil from Venezuela is very different from WTI, which is different from Brent, which is different from Arabic oil. Also, the Strait of Hormuz being closed means a lot of ships are "trapped" inside the strait, and so cannot be used for the presumably longer route to the new suppliers.

Correct since those oil is not actually the same. The quality of those countries is not also the same, which trying to find new source became more more harder. We can also add that Strait of Hormuz is been closed, there's lots of oil tankers inside still stuck and cannot pass and some countries cannot afford to take long routes that's why they choose to stop for awhile then wait for the situation to calm down.

This is the reason why many countries and included India face logistic challenges and crisis with their oil supply.

As of today, the assessment shows that the strait's operation is still 95% closed. Does that mean Iran do not have friends crossing the strait? The allowed 5% is too small to be crossing. I believe a dual friendship still means "enemy" to them, for it to be this small. They are simply wanting the whole world to feel it, which is unfair.

You know what is the best part about all of this? It hits the American pockets and it hurts their economy and this causes republicans to lose a lot of votes. We should have known all politicians before now, when looking for political offices they make heartwarming and ambitious promises just to convince and make us give our full support but after getting what the wish for, all changes and there original plans will then be brought for use. I saw on television how a sea of people took to the streets to protest at various locations across America. They chanted the slogan “No King” during these protests.
My simple logic tells me that money is better spent on the people’s welfare than on war. The issue of oil was also raised.
Oil is the most important driver of the economy.

Yeah, this needs to end as soon as possible. Because of the effect of this conflict, we all have to survive many things, like the increasing rate of inflation, gas, and oil. Pakistan is playing its best role to end this conflict between Iran, America, and Israel. And according to my best knowledge, last night some forign minster have reached Islamabad, Pakistan, to negotiate about this matter with the PM of Pakistan so that this should be ended as soon as possible.

And some other update on this matter I got is that Yemen is also going to close its sea path for the international market and has decided to stand with Iran in this conflict, which in result every country econmy will be badly damaged. And we also know that after the Strait of Hormuz Yemen sea path is also very important for many countries of the world because it is also being used by many European countries to get oil and gas supply from the Middle East. That is why I totally agree with you here; this conflict should be resolved as soon as possible.
