It just won't end, and the dead are piling up.

Quote
As attacks escalate, the Strait of Hormuz - a critical waterway off Iran's coast that Tehran effectively blocked in response to US-Israeli strikes - has remained shut.

That has impacted the flow of oil from the region and the head of the International Energy Agency, Fatih Birol, says he has concerns about global energy supplies.
https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c151gdjwd10o

Now everyone is affected again. The price of oil has suddenly increased one more time, and it's not going to end well for all who use it, especially the ones near the Strait or the countries who are relying for the oil that will pass through it.
The US bombed them again and hit civilian infrastructure. Well, according to the news on the BBC. I guess Trump will deny this again and say they are only aiming at the military infrastructures.

China also seems to call for a ceasefire and continue negotiations, but with how angry Trump is regarding the interference in the US elections by China, which he mentioned in his speech, I bet he will not listen to them.

The economy will get worst and we should be ready.

not just China, but many countries have called for a ceasefire since the war began. however, the United States seems to have ignored all of those calls
they will not stop until they achieve their political goals, regardless of who makes the call or for what reason.

of course, the economy will get worse, and that is something the United States wants and often does whenever it feels its dominant position is being threatened.

Yes, that's right. From the start of this war, all countries have called for a ceasefire not just China. Closing the Strait of Hormuz not only impacted certain countries but also nearly the entire world due to rising oil prices especially since the Strait of Hormuz is the world most crucial shipping route. However, when China was vocal in calling for a ceasefire it naturally angered the US as both countries were competing for global dominance.

But if you look back, the US primary goal was to control the Strait of Hormuz and it seems the nuclear issue was merely a pretext for an attack on Iran. Controlling the Strait of Hormuz indirectly defeated China, as China also took a significant amount of oil from Iran. That's why the United States is now so aggressive and continues to strive for full control of the Strait of Hormuz even though this goal seems reckless.

Because despite any US attempt to occupy Iran, Iran has issued a very stern warning and also stated that they will face unprecedented retaliation, even if the US uses a ground attack. Iran has even trained its troops for 20 years to face the scenario of occupying the islands and the southern coastline. This is now evident in what Iran does any American movement towards Iran, especially southern Iran will be met with an appropriate response.

of course, the economy will get worse, and that is something the United States wants and often does whenever it feels its dominant position is being threatened.

It now looks very obvious that US is not serious in ending the war and that is because closing of Strait of Hormuz is not effecting US much but his GCC allies. The Gulf countries are not only effected because of closure of Hormuz but they also have to bear the physical damage due to Iran retaliation against US bombing. US has intensified bombing in southern Iran and now there is very little hope that there will be any further dialogue between US and Iran on cease fire.

It's time for big powers of EU and China to step in and and stop US from this war because this is effecting many countries of the region.

What keeps me awake at night is thinking that now the best possible outcome for this war is having the situation slightly worse than before the war. There is no scenario where the world is a better place after a quite dubious end of the war, but under the most optimistic scenarios, in the end IRAN realised they have a very powerful tool in their hands.

Yeah, I also said it before. In a war there are no winners and the biggest losers are the civilians. Meanwhile, the heads of states or the secretaries or war are there in their comfortable offices/homes while people's sons are sent out to fight just because a certain head of state feels like he wants to show some muscle.

And yes, right now Iran knows how much power they hold thanks to the unnecessary war. They also now know that acquiring nuclear weapons is a must if they don't have any yet so they won't be bullied again in the future.

You can tell the next chapter because the Gulf states are already committing billions to alternatives not involving shipping past such a hostile state.  Peace has been discounted as unlikely for years forward, if such plans make sense its because the balance has shifted to continual failure in every likely future scenario.
Whatever happens missile defence systems will have to improve, it might even be the only resolution is to end tenure of a government which threatens every other nation in the region, a terrible policy.

every reason the US has given seems like a pretext. none of them is the real or legitimate reason. that said, i also do not think their goal is to control the Strait of Hormuz solely to contain China's rise.
that reason doesn't sound very convincing, considering that Iran accounts for about 14% of China's total crude oil imports.

besides, any disruption to the Strait of Hormuz would also cause serious damage to the US's closest allies in the region. if the goal were simply to contain China, I do not think its allies would be willing to pay such a heavy price.

Much better if all of these missile systems will be agreed to be stopped and won't be used for a very long time. This is the kind of peace treaty that they have to sign. But, sadly no one wants to sign the deal. That is because all of them felt threatened where they're the only ones that threatening each other and even their neighboring countries. The resolution for this war is going to take a while and no one knows if they're all going to agree for an actual peace treaty that will maintain, agreement, peace, safety and order in the gulf states.

The Strait of Hormuz will be opened soon enough after US is destroyed in West Asia. I said this before they started this war before March. The US regime will either have to stop committing terrorism and leave West Asia or they will be bombed out. They obviously chose option number 2 and Iran is delivering on that promise.

Over the past week the Iranian retaliatory strikes are aimed to cripple the US regime and its terrorist forces. Specially after the American terrorists tried to bomb a children's cancer hospital in South of Iran, after that the Iranian retaliatory strikes also became deadly as Iran has been seeking to inflict maximum casualties to the regime. Considering the fact that NATO has no more operational air-defense (either ran out of intercept missiles or had their batteries and stashes destroyed), everything Iran launches at the child killers, hits and obliterates its target.
With body bags piling on, the Pedophile POTUS will not be able to continue hiding them with gag orders...

The fact that the Strait of Hormuz remains to be the best bargaining chip Iran 🇮🇷 has at the moment,  I honestly don't see it being opened for two straight weeks because other issues are happening in the gulf region of which Iran has an interest..maybe when these deals are happening..going forward Israel should be on that round table so that they talk like adults and not some little girl's..otherwise this will hurt alot of countries directly or indirectly!!

Like the joke that's always thrown around,  Iran holds the cards..

The losers should be the global economy and at the same food producing farmers.
I don't even understand how Rubio and Pete Hegsete and how they're comfortable posting clips of committing international crime on their socials. Before now they blew up a school, recently it was an hospital. Worries me if this was how thry intend helping and liberating? Well, this is exactly what they do when there propaganda do not have positive effects.
Difficult and desperate times, they have to make difficult decisions that helps them in the future. I would do just the same.
