Strait of Hormuz now open?

Man, this situation keeps things worrying and no one has got an idea even these leaders when this war will stop. The Ukraine and Russia hasn't even ended yet.

I expect the same thing with the Iran-US conflict because neither side seems willing to back down. I don't expect Iran to step down, and I don't expect the US to do it either.

The US could probably escalate further, but I don't think it wants to launch a full-scale attack just to end the conflict. On the other hand, I don't think Iran has the capability to fully attack the US and force an end to the conflict either.

That's why I think this situation could drag on for years unless one side eventually decides to compromise or back down. As long as both sides remain firm on their positions, I don't see a quick resolution.

No one knows how they're going to deescalate the situation while the oil prices I think are back to increase.

Yup, the price is now starting to fly high again as there's no assurance whether these two rival countries will allow those foreign users of this passage way knowing both Iran and US are really trying to have that control over Strait of Hormuz and similar to what you've said, I agree that other political leaders especially those who have that competitive power not go to any side but instead try to be in the middle and if possible discuss things in a peace manner instead of provoking or pushing one side to to their attacks or counter attacks.

Two captains can't lead one ship, both the US and Iran wants to be in charge of that Strait none wants to back down for the other that's why we keep hearing news of blockades and opening over and over. They need to find a solution cause it ruining business of their allies in the sense that Iranian allies woukd pay tolls to us for passage like US allies do same for Iran but I think US is looking for other alternatives to boycott passage of their product through that Strait cause not too long from today,  I saw a news that says, "US oil giant Chevron explores new pipeline routes in Iraq to bypass the Strait of Hormuz".

Alternative routes for moving oil have been explored and is still being discussed, but truth is, they all fall short and are incapable of replacing the Strait of Hormuz.

About 20 million barrels of oil crosses the Strait of Hormuz daily, there is no alternative source that can come close to that capacity. Meaning that even if the Strait is very volatile, and traffic can often be halted, there are really no viable alternatives that can match its capacity, yet they are even more expensive to run.

Lol, is it news to you that the U.N. is grossly ineffective, i believe that ought to be a well-known information. The U.N. constantly fail in achieving any of its core objectives, be it in maintaining peace or preventing large-scale conflicts.

Their position is even worse-off right now, as they are on the brink of going broke. In case you do not know, The U.S. and China have failed to provide any sort of funding for the organization for a while now, so they are not in the best state right now.

I have an idea of how they mostly help to those who are needy in their eyes.

So they're only reactive based on the country's that funds them. And with these two, they've got no support that receive anymore.

That is not correct. The U.N. is funded by all of its members, through a compulsory payment made to the organization, but these contributions are not equal, certain countries pay far larger than others. For example, the U.S. contributes the largest amount to the U.N., followed by China.

So, it is not a case of being "reactive" based on funding. It is basically an ineffective and corrupt organization, and i mentioned the issue of funding because they are on the brink of bankrputcy due to unpaid contributions from different countries, which makes them even more ineffective.

If you own the same asset but pull it in different directions, it will simply tear apart, and neither side will be able to benefit from its use. That is exactly what we are seeing right now. At the same time, it is important to understand that the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz definitely has a more negative impact on Iran than on the United States.
As a result of the standoff, Iran’s infrastructure, such as the island of Khark, could suffer, which would result in Iran losing the ability to ship oil at all.
