You caught the right with that very point of view that gambling isn't for everyone because considering the basic recommendations and characteristics of individuals who're qualified for gambling, there's definitely going to be lot of gamblers who shouldn't had giving the chances to gambling but because it's a choice of every adults, then anyone above 18 as the recommended age are being allowed.
The repercussion is always at the risks of every individuals otherwise, not everyone that's fit in to gambling.

I agree with you, every point you have mentioned here seems valid to me. Many of us gamble without paying attention to them many times and later its impact on us is never good.

 For example, I will divide the points here into two categories, one category is when we are gambling and who do we gambling in front of. Responsible gambling is not only about spending the amount we can afford to lose and gambling, but also when we maintain our time and gamble in our free time. And if we talk about who we are actually gambling in front of, it actually matters, when we gamble in front of our children or minor children, then surely it will arouse a curiosity in them and at the same time it may be that they will enter the gambling space at a young age when they should not gamble.  So if we want to gamble responsibly, we must keep all these things in mind before gambling.

I only gamble on weekends, and preferably at night. I don't gamble using my smartphone, only on my computer and in my house; I like privacy, and for me, it's a moment of relaxation, even though it's often impossible to relax when you're losing.

The list is very long if we combine what others have said, there are too many inappropriate situation that gamblers always like to ignore, they ignore the situation at hand and still continue gambling. For example, a man gambling while his wife was on labour putting to birth, someone gambling a night before their exam, someone gambling while on the sick bed and many other situations. Some people gamble while in class ( I did that during my school days but it caused me to lose focus in class).  These situations can be classified as gambling at the inappropriate time, It's not advisable.

A lot of gamblers make the mistake of engaging in gambling in certain places time or conditions that they shouldn't not because of the fact that there are restrictions but because gamble can mess with your emotions and make you underperform from your standard. And most time the wrong timing is actually sponsored by indiscipline, meaning gamblers using make irresponsible choices at those conditions.

Here are list i placed or conditions I feel it's wrong to start gamble

• Gambling on your way to an important meeting or interview
• Gambling at home in the presence of your children
• During work hours
• Hurry to gamble immediately you receive your salary

1. Gambling on your way to an important thing then you would be losing up that focus and might be able to messed up those important matters. So its common sense that you should be skipping it out on any distractions.
2. Its common sense, if you as a parent doesnt like for you kids to become gamblers then as a parent then you should be responsible on what you are showing off into your kids.
3. Same on #1. There's always a time for gambling on which you shouldnt be making up some timing into other important things.
4. This is suicide. If you dont like on having financial problems then skip this behavior.

The main key on here is that you should be only doing gambling into the amount on which you can afford to lose. Its impossible that you cant be able to determine on whats wrong and whats right at the moment that you are on a such situation on which  this isnt only talking about gambling but in other sorts of things on which you would be needing up to be sensible on every actions made.

The control can be aggravated by the easy access to online platforms. Ultimately, one should only engage in it using the extra money, a clear mind, and clear boundaries.

I like that way of doing things, it's just that for some it's very difficult to get extra money, most of the time there isn't any extra money, so you have to take it out, for fun, to multiply things that can be done, however I am a person who has always taken out money to bet, it's not much but enough to be able to generate a little more, if I lose it I don't insist and I play another day.
