A lot of gamblers make the mistake of engaging in gambling in certain places time or conditions that they shouldn't not because of the fact that there are restrictions but because gamble can mess with your emotions and make you underperform from your standard. And most time the wrong timing is actually sponsored by indiscipline, meaning gamblers using make irresponsible choices at those conditions.

Here are list i placed or conditions I feel it's wrong to start gamble

• Gambling on your way to an important meeting or interview
• Gambling at home in the presence of your children
• During work hours
• Hurry to gamble immediately you receive your salary

Gamble when you have time, it can be during the weekends or when you are not longer working but resting at home in the evening or early period of the night and that is if you having nothing that you are doing. Stop gambling when you have used all your weekly gambling budget.

When you are on your way to anywhere, even if the place is not important, it's best you put all your focus on the road instead of gambling while going based on the event, especially when you are the one driving.

The best time which is just meant for one to gamble is when they are free and it's their leisure time; it could be from the comfort of their home or anywhere, as long as they won't discomfort another and they won't also expose it to teenagers.

Gambling as a cure for unfavorable situations or when you are in serious need of money mostly end in a more negative result,. Gambling should be done in a balanced mindset and not when we are in some kind of pressure,  emotional disadvantage or financial need.

In the oversimplied form, when you got time to kill and you got nothing to do then gambling online maybe a choice but when you made it as a habit and trying to fit in your daily schedule might leave you in the trouble.

Instead of adding more, I will give contra arguments for the situation you give  so we can have different point of view as comparison.

• Gambling on your way to an important meeting or interview

Gambling can be used as a stress reliever such as for upcoming meeting or interview when people feel so nervous before such important events.
Of course it is subjective and depends on the gambler, if they can manage their feeling then  gambling before such important event will not give any negative effects, even it may give them better situation.

• Gambling at home in the presence of your children

If we are responsible parent as well as responsible gambler, it can be used as a chance for us to teach our children about gambling so children will get early education about gambling.
However, we should also know when to do it or at what age is the best for our children start to learn about gambling so they can avoid the negative effect of gambling or even to make them stay away from it.

• During work hours

Almost the same as the first case, gambling during work hours can be stress reliever but of course we should know about the rules in the place where we are working.
If gambling is prohibitted by the company where we work, of course it is better if we do not do it on work hours but if it is allowed then it is not that bad to gamble during work hours (still with big responsibly).

• Hurry to gamble immediately you receive your salary

Why not, it does not matter when we spend the money from our salary to gamble as long as we know how to spend it wisely.
The time when we use our salary wont change anything if we have good plan to spend the salary and we can spend how much to spend on gambling which will not affect our other needs.

Don’t gamble when you are on vacation trip because it will ruin your fun trip in case you lose.

Don’t gamble before sleep or early morning because your mind is not ready for dopamine.

Based on my experience, gamble when you are stressed, when you're stressed, when you're stressed, you cannot think clearly, and you become out of control with your focus and bets.

Another one is betting after taking a loan. I had an unfortunate experience after taking a loan. I gamble 10% of the money I loan after losing, I tried another 10% and lost it too, I lost 205 of my loan just like that, so never gamble with money coming from a loan, it's such a bad idea.

Many times I feel like I’ve been a victim of this myself. Sometimes when I’m drunk, I get this sudden urge to gamble, and the problem is I lose that sense of fear. I become overconfident and start placing bets I normally wouldn’t make when I’m sober.

You are right. I think most of the time, gamblers who have just received their salary will go gamble and take their chances to double their money. This is very wrong because we are in a very bad position since the availability of money remains. It means that as we keep on losing, there's a higher chance we keep on depositing too until we run out of money or deplete the whole salary.

I think the best time to gamble is when we are done paying all necessities. Bills, mortgage, and groceries.
It's not a good time to gamble when we are with our family. It's best if we can enjoy those moments.

This is a situation I've always experienced.

Gambling outdoors, even when there's no stable internet connection.

That's the problem in my country, unreliable internet, especially when using cellular data.
Seeing my friends gamble at the park, I wanted to join even though I knew there was no reliable internet connection.  In the end, I regretted watching my deposited money disappear so quickly.

I have seen many people who suddenly participate in gambling when they have a little time during their lunch break at work. You cannot make sudden decisions during the busy work day, so you can make many mistakes in your gambling and you will not be able to make the right decision. Therefore, it is not right to participate in gambling when you suddenly take a lunch break at work.
I have also seen many people who bet while traveling on buses or public transportation, in which case they may make the wrong decision when betting.

Best place for gambling for me is at home. Since most games are now available online, there’s really no reason to go out and visit actual casinos. Most of us here are gamblers anyway, and we just do it in front of our PC, whether it’s roulette, slots, or sports betting.

I would say that personally I have always lost when I have played at those times yet one thing that happens to me again and again is the fact that even when I play on Saturday night, at home relaxed I keep losing always so most probably the place or time is not that important, what is important is only luck. You can add Saturday night to your list but I think as I said it is because of luck if we win it or not and not because of places. That salary thing is also a very big no no for me as it can lead to destructive consequences because you think you have money to throw when in fact you don't.

Gambling should be done in a conducive environment to avoid distraction. But, I can decide to gamble if I am well prepared for a meeting and I am just waiting for the interview or meeting to start. But one should be careful to care with what you can afford to avoid messing up your emotions. 

Don't use gambling as an escape from problems. Some people decide to use gambling as a means to avoid a faulty relationship. So instead of going home after work to meet their spouse, they decide to gamble as a means to forget their problems. Some addicts might want to replace an uncontrollable behavior with gambling. If they are not careful, they might also become addicted to gambling.

I agree with the three points listed as wrong when it comes to gambling, because none of them are the right time to gamble.
The best time to gamble is when you’ve set aside time without being burdened by anything that triggers emotional stress. The best time to gamble is when you have free time and are in a cheerful mood.

You shouldn't gamble in a beer parlor because when you're benched on alcohol, you will not be in country of yourself and make wrong decisions that will lead you to big losses.

I believe it is very important not to gamble when you are overwhelmed by your emotions and when you do not have rules with yourself. Emotions can lead you to stupid act and spend unreasonable amounts of money because at that precise moment it seems like the right thing to do but once the emotion of the game go off, the guilt rise up. Rules allow you to set aside a sum of money that you can afford to lose and to walk away firmly once you have spent it. Otherwise, the game could take over and cause you to spend amounts of money that could ruin you.
