Don't gamble in a dangerous environment or while walking on the road because it may cause accident which may eventually leed to death
Don't take loan to gamble, no matter the condition, because it may leed to financial bankruptcy.
Don't gamble when you are on vacation with your family expecialy when your family needs you attention because Gambling may cause you absence minded and may leed to problem between you and your spouse.

Also, is it really that complicated to not be able to hold the time to gamble? I think everyone has good norms and can separate which time is best to gamble and which time is not necessary to gamble? Is it that complicated to sort it out?

All the reasons you mentioned are correct but I would say that those who gamble during busy hours are mainly addicted. However, there should be a specific time for gambling, which the gambler can choose, those who gamble for fun should enter into gambling during the day.
However, one should never gamble before going to sleep, and one should never enter into gambling during student age or education. Those who follow these things will never be forced and their money will be properly controlled.

All the above are not really important and for gambler that have no official engagement or even family, one thing with responsible gambling is that you have no reason other than just being responsible, regardless of family kid's or financial obligations, all this need to be out in place.

Of course for someone who have kids is not advisable to gamble in the presence of your kid's, but for some reason, most active gambler's are single fork's who have no wife or kids This set of gamblers needs inner discipline aside from the mandatory societal demands, like those of their own kids or work.

From 3 pages of replies, it looks like everything has already been answered, and I just want to add one more point "never gamble near your pets, whether it’s a dog, cat, or any other animal."

I once had an experience where I almost lost my entire budget. I was accessing a gambling site on my phone and entered a roulette game. At that time, I put my phone on the bed and went to the bathroom. Near my phone was my pet cat, which accidentally stepped on the screen and obviously placed random bets.

But I was very lucky that time. All those random bets actually won because the roulette ball landed on the right numbers. So yeah, that’s my bad experience, and I hope no one else has to go through something like that.

I only gamble when I am in need of having fun. I don't do it before work, I don't do it before anything important. Weekends are the best time to make some bets imo as I am more relaxed and it becomes more fun. I see students gambling during lectures. As the lecturer is teaching, these students would secretly place their phones in hidden positions as they immerse themselves in gambling. Such behaviors will make students lose concentration which couid lead to academic failures. I have also been in a cab where the driver was checking his games in a traffic jam. This is also not the right time to gamble.

You have actually mentioned some important points which we often forget when it comes to gambling, especially if I say hurry to gamble immediately when we receive the salary, this is common among most of us.
And here there are also people who lose control over themselves while gambling after getting salary and spend a huge part of their salary on gambling and later have to transfer the remaining months on loan.

And besides, the other points that you have mentioned teach us to keep an eye on punctuality because if we do not use our time properly and gamble without leisure period, it will make us irresponsible gamblers.

I 100% think it’s not good to gamble when you are angry, stressed or not thinking clearly because emotions can easily control your decisions. the same goes for when someone is trying to recover losses, that usually leads to even bigger losses. Its also risky to gamble when you don’t have spare money at hand or when you are tired, especially late at night. At the end of the day, it all comes down to discipline and knowing when to step away

Yes it is very true that there are conditional atmospheres that're psychologically aligns the state of mind of gamblers where it's a gambling friendly emotion which allows you to play at your convenient and also treats it as social betting events.
You don't need to force feelings to gamble you also don't let your emotions control your urge otherwise, you'll probably have bad mementos there especially when the luck of winning is not coming.

For me, it's never a good idea to gamble if you're drunk, especially if you are going to pass out. I have a friend who lost a lot of money playing while drunk, and he couldn't even remember that he lost after getting out of intoxication. He only remembered a few hours after he was sober.
His betting history shows how reckless he is, betting heavily on games he doesn't like because of the odds.
So when you're drunk, don't play its very similar to driving, you are out of control

I believe there's actually a perfect time and a perfect place to perform gambling, and not at the time of your work or when you are in a meeting or important gathering.

And in addition, do not gamble also when you are drinking or when you are under the influence of alcohol because it leads to wrong decision and wrong betting analysis which later on may resulted into unwanted losses and regret yourself after.

But I don't mean to say its wrong to gamble at home while you are drinking a few cans. I am personally doing it just to relax myself, but stop gambling immediately when you already feel dizzy, otherwise you will end up losing all your money.
