All the reasons you mentioned are correct but I would say that those who gamble during busy hours are mainly addicted. However, there should be a specific time for gambling, which the gambler can choose, those who gamble for fun should enter into gambling during the day.
However, one should never gamble before going to sleep, and one should never enter into gambling during student age or education. Those who follow these things will never be forced and their money will be properly controlled.

Work hour is a no for me, I don't even think gambling addiction is the right word to use. Such person is dealing with desperation. If you are working, that means you are earning money. You should work only when you have work and gamble when you want to gamble. There are reasons why most matches are fix to be Saturdays and Sundays. I know a colleague who constantly gamble at work to the point he nearly got fired from the work, the fact that his Uncle is one of the managers in the company got him saved, he should've been at home by now. There is no opportunity to participate in gambling during important meetings or interviews because it is not possible to concentrate on anything else at that time. Gambling isn't something that we should mix with important events or activities like you have mentioned some of the activities here. Gambling during working hours is very wrong as this can cause one to lose there job. There are some students that spend most of there time and money on gambling especially during exam period instead of  focusing on how to pass there exam. It is wrong to gamble during exam period or to gamble in the church during church hours.
