We already have casino mobile app, but are the casino apps for smartwatches ?

Title says it all. We have casino mobile apps or shortcuts that imitate webpages. But are there any casinos that have apps for smartwatches? Smartwatches are popular, affordable, their technology are developing all the time. I have seen simple casino games for smartwatches, but I have never seen that any casino have their own app for a smartwatches. People carry mobiles with them all the time, people do same with watches, that now, with wallet feature and bunch of other health features for example, are one persons inevitable part.

I dont think it is hard to create such app that will allow to play some simple games. Games like Dice, Crash, Blackjack, simplified slots will fit for little screen. What do you think about that? Will those apps be demanded? Is it possible we will have them one day? If there are really no such apps now, then first casino that will create it will be the winner

And you like it that you see casinos on a smartwatch which will be too tiny for me and I can not use it. I did not know smartwatch have taken it to that level, only what I use my smart watch for is for receiving notifications, used to take and make calls but it is my phone that will still do it but I can control my phone through the watch. I also use it to know the amount of sleep I have in the night and I used it to know the number of walk steps, heart rate and I use it for exercise readings and others, but I have not seen anyone using it to gamble.

I wouldn't even like the display on a smart watch it's going to be too tiny i think they should just stick to pc's and mobiles phones besides we don't want to be clicking on the wrong selection each time we are try to make a bet especially on casino games which react instantly if you pick a selection (for example the mine game) I think when it comes to gamble we don't really need a big or too tiny screen display, and that is why i prefer gambling on my mobile phone than using a pc, tab or pad. It's just my personal choice though maybe other will like the idea.

I'm not that comfortable gambling with a phone because the screen is small and you want casinos to have their apps on a watch that the screen is very tiny. It will be a big failure on the casinos sides because majority of people wouldn't gamble on their smartwatch but with a phone or a PC. I wouldn't dare trying it because it will affect my eyes and it wouldn't be fun to me.

I think you have misspelled that. I have an old iWatch 7. 32gb storage (filled with music), I have few games and apps on it, running fine.

Does not look complicated and impossible to run on specs that smartwatches have. If old mobile phones (not smartphones) have casino games and were running on much weaker specs that modern smartwatches have, then it is maybe a matter of time when we will be able to gamble by tapping on watches. I have spent hell of a time playing games on my Sony Ericsson k750i with 176×220 pixels display If that baby managed to run games, smartwatches will be able to give gambling experience that is sure.

Just focus on - I am not saying that all current casino games should be available on watches, but some simple games.

It’s too risky to gamble on small screen. Imagine clicking max bet while gambling then the game suddenly start after the countdown or you overlook your bet amount due to small screen.

This is good on slot games but I wonder how will the battery last considering the animation on the game will consume too much energy of the smart watch.

I have smart watch but it always low battery at the end of the day even with just regular use.

This is a great idea, and moreover it can be expanded by offering to make an online casino in VR glasses. Or wearing smart glasses. It will actually be the experience of visiting a physical casino, but at home, without getting up from the couch. I think we will definitely see this in the future. I think that so far there are no studies that would show the demand for such an application or how popular it would be among players. Everyone carries a phone with them almost all the time, so playing on a phone would probably be much more convenient than on a smartwatch.

And perhaps the reason why such an application for watches does not exist is precisely that money would have to be spent to develop and adapt it. But it might either not pay off at all or take too long to become profitable. If I had a choice between playing on a phone or on a smartwatch, I would still choose to play on a phone.

There are already games adjusted for smartwatches, so it wouldn't be surprising if there are gambling games adapted for smartwatches. As for casinos having apps for smartwatches, that's possible too, but if you ask me, that's just too much. I feel like even if they made their app compatible with smartwatches, it would still be a hassle to navigate and play casino games.

Op you have not gotten the Smartwatch that has the apps of some casinos and their games. Smartwatch has different type and functions. There are some that are only for calls, message, and play songs. And some few functions. And when you buy the one that contains those apps, you will play games with it. I have not used it but I have seen it in someone hand last year.

I agree with the OP, it would be an interesting implementation for a casino. As for the supposedly small screen, this is not the case. I played the 777 slot gambling game on a Nokia 7610 twenty years ago. It wasn't even a casino, but just an online application with a single gambling game (deposits and withdrawals were in the WebMoney system). It was a smartphone running on OS Symbian. As far as I remember, the screen was like 176 by 200 pixels - in general, less than a box of matches, but this did not create discomfort at all.

I have a bunch of third-party apps installed on a couple of phones. Both from GitHub and alternative app stores. If you want, you can even force third-party APKs to be installed on modern versions of android. I remember installing a great chess application in which you can force the engines to play against each other, then analyze. It's a very interesting thing. There are either no such cool apps in Google Play, or their functionality is curtailed and therefore they "turn into a pumpkin"

The thought of playing slots or playing cards on that tiny screen would seem both very strenuous and put your fingers ache. We must understand that technology as much as it can be is not the top priority but when it comes to user comfort, the number one priority is non negotiable. Making gambling games on smartwatches could simply be an empty display of intensive functions but could not be of practical interest. It is just too heavy to wear it on your arm.

I have a smartwatch and honestly I don't usually use apps because not only it's small but it's really hard to navigate, I only use it for quick replies or for choosing song and it's really hard to use it, what more for a casino app where there's a lot of features and you might also encounter such as misclicking how much your bet will be. Honestly, I don't see any use of those applications if you have a smartphone so I think there will never be a casino app for smartwatches and if there will be, I don't think it will be a priority.

I think it will just depend on the OS. As you said, it won't really be difficult to do it, but I don't think they are into it just yet. Even if it's a small project, it will still require a team to do the development and the maintenance since it will run on a different OS. There are different types of OS now: Apple, Google, and the broader Android system.
Also, they must create something that won't eat too much RAM since it's a small device that ain't really made to have so many applications. But I won't be surprised if one is created soon.

As a guy with poor eye sight. I don’t preferred playing on my smart watch that I’m frequently using during my jogging exercise every morning.

I preferred gambling during my free time and using a larger screen rather than my smart watch that was meant for my exercise.

Having gambling accessible on gadget that you dedicate for something else might affect to your regular routine since you might be tempted to place bet anytime.

Do you really need an app for your watch? People have Ipads, laptops, and cell phones that they can access casinos on, What is a super small screen going to provide you that the rest of the devices don't?

I don't have a smartwatch (just a smartphone and a laptop). Honestly, I don't understand why anyone would need such devices? I'm a human being, made of flesh and blood. I have absolutely no desire to become like a cyborg or the Terminator.🤖

For me, playing online casinos has a special psychological atmosphere (in this regard, I often think of the James Bond film "Casino Royale"). When I play, I usually sit in a comfortable chair and sip a delicious drink (today it was orange-grapefruit juice). I usually play on a laptop with a large, bright screen (this is also very important because it's convenient). Smartwatches simply can't give me the same feeling of comfort as playing on a laptop. I think online casinos understand this too. That's why they're in no rush to offer gambling games that can be played on smartwatches.

I know well what smartwatches are for. I use mine to listen to music while running, receive calls, they are my wallet, during sports, to open garage door and etc. Since there are apps and Apple Store, and option to buy apps, I turned curious why havent casinos created apps for smartwatches also, if they are so willing to get as many clients as possible. Who knows what a person will want to do when he is bored. People have different desires and taste. Who knows maybe there is someone goes to WC, loves to gamble during free time, but always forget to take mobile with him

After all, casinos were investing in metaverse, even though not every gambler understood what metaverse is, nor had VR headsets. Why not try take smartwatch niche.

Even if there will be gambling games that can be played in smartwatches, I will not be interested to try it due to its small screen which wont be comfortable for me.
I do not even gamble on my mobile phone much till now because I prefer to gamble on my PC where I can feel better when playing any gambling games.
Of course it is all about our own preferences but I dont think many people will be interested to gamble on their smartwatch because small screen may give bigger chance of doing mistake when placing bets.
