We already have casino mobile app, but are the casino apps for smartwatches ?

I think implementing a casino gambling app on smartwatches is a very bad idea, because their screens are very small, so it is unbelievable to expect to play casino games on them. I have been using a smartwatch for many years; it is very effective for exercise because you can see your step count, live tracking, and how many calories you burn daily. However, when you develop casino apps for smartwatches, the results will be very poor. Casino gambling is not like that; you cannot control it with a few buttons. So I think people will reject the Caaino app built on smartwatches.

Many people are now gambling using their mobile application or browser, and even if it is small, they learn how to navigate it. The same thing could happen in smart watches. The UI can automatically read the screen size and adjust accordingly, just like how Android applications are adjusted to the size of the TV, tablet, or phone. Developers can make it happen.
It may not become so popular because smartwatches are truly expensive (for now), but if they can make one with a higher RAM and can handle the size of a browser and cache of a gambling application, then it will happen. It may not be now, but when they see many people using the said technology, then they will probably create one.

I dont think it is hard to create such app that will allow to play some simple games. Games like Dice, Crash, Blackjack, simplified slots will fit for little screen. What do you think about that? Will those apps be demanded? Is it possible we will have them one day? If there are really no such apps now, then first casino that will create it will be the winner

I think there are casino that works on smartwatch but may not be popular or May not be that smart enough like the ones on wide screen phone. But However if there are no casino design for Smartwatch, I think in the nearest future one will be created or if there is an existing one, it will be upgraded to be smarter than the previous. I dont know why I dont even fans casino on smartwatch. I feel smartwatch is too small to contain casino.

Those who say that screen is small - you visualize your favorite game on a small screen and find it inconvenient to play. But there such games as Coin Flip. You see coin and two buttons below, Head or Tail. You think it wont fit on a small screen? You can scroll watch wheel to get to next screen for options. I dont think that weak specs, small screen are the reasons why there are no casino mobile apps yet. Then I guess lack of demand is the reason why we dont have such apps.

I don't have much idea about smartwatches, but there was this discussion sometime back about not many casinos having mobile apps and users argued, website is enough, and costs of developing and maintaining mobile app may not be rewarding enough for the casino(s). I say, same reasoning should be used for smartwatch apps too. At best, casinos should be making their website 'smartwatch' friendly, provided people actually use Internet on it (can they in first place 'conveniently'?).

Regarding people saying, they played games on their small screen phones, would they still do same with bigger screen phones and laptops available? I don't think so. I wouldn't.

They'd likely drop support because I don't think it's gonna be worth it. Far from 'winner' definitely.

Then watch will look ugly on hand unless they make some mechanism to have it enlarged, something like foldable phones.

Now with AI, another concept which could work nicely would be to gamble through voice command. You wouldn't need to touch the screen anymore, rather you would just place bets by voice.

Clicking with fingers would be much faster compared to speaking, wouldn't it?

Crazy that this is coming from a legendary member, I don't see how this will be game changer for gambling and casinos, it seems you will have to create your own casino that can work on smart watches for yourself only because I don't think it's going to be enjoyable.

The view will be too small, it's possible that lags will occur too, millions of people wouldn't want to gamble on their smart watches if you think I am wrong we can create a voting poll for this just to see.

Large screens add to gambling experience including fun too.

Smartwatches are here for the notification and to monitor some health related things but using it as primary device isn't conveninent now we are going to use for making bets then it's outrageous, if someone is not in a position to take out their device to place bets then they better don't bet at all, because it is supposed to be entertaining not something we do in a hurry.

I agree with you using a smartwatch as your primary device wouldn’t be comfortable and one of the reasons for that in my opinion, is its small size, which I personally find uncomfortable.

And yes, you’re right if it’s not paired with a mobile device, it’s probably better not to use it at all.

I’m also skeptical that a smartwatch could be used for gambling via online apps or websites even if it were possible, I don’t think it would be comfortable at all.

Yes, you equally have a good point on what you just stated above regarding smart watches and how it should be prioritize for personal notifications, and not an alternative means of gambling, as by doing, this will likely increase drastically the level of gambling addiction. And likewise, considering the size of smart watches, I'm 100% sure not everybody will find it convenient to use such small screen when I already have my mobile phone with me all the time. And likewise if I need a big screen, I can conveniently use my smart TV to gamble where I have a wider coverage.

So in a nutshell, I literally don't think implementing the use of casinos apps on Smart watches will be of no benefits, if eventually I'm unable to use that same smart watch to send money from your Electrum Bitcoin wallet to it for gambling

To enjoy gambling, I believe the screen matters too. I can't seem to be enjoying what I can barely see. Smart watch screen is very tiny and cannot render images wide enough to make gambling very engaging, not to mention that I'll have to hang a hand to be able to play with another one which cannot be sustained over prolonged moments without physical pain.

I wouldn't try it, even if accessibility finally reaches that device, I don't think I'll ever prefer using a smart watch to gamble over my comfortable laptop or mobile device. The idea is neither cool nor giving.

Why do you think that people wont be interested in gambling on a smartwatch? Gamblers use anything that has a web browser to access casino. Some even use smart tv browser to play, even thought they can do it on a mobile. Navigating with remote control does not give better experience than tap on screen on clicking mouse. But some frazy mfkers use every possibility they have to play. Possible target audience - addicted gambler whos mobile, mobile, tablet, pc or laptop were taken away. Think small screen would stop them from gambling?

You are not asking a radically new question in which we have no data or are unable to gather data, you are asking something for which data has already been gathered and the opinions are known. The data is clear on this thing, and you have even given an example which confirms my position and puts your own into question but you don't see it. Sure, there exist some people that even play on their smart TV browser but they are a tiny minority. The same exact thing is the case with the smart watches. There will be always some people that will do it, but the number of potential active users is very low -- which is exactly what I have written. There are many smart watch users, there are many gamblers, but there are very few smart watch users who want to gamble on their smart watch instead of the other options. Nothing will change about this simply because the device is unable to provide the UX that other devices do, and especially when a substitute is available right in the other or even the same hand (the smartphone).

In which circumstance would it be a better experience to play on a tiny 1 inch screen on your hand, when you are holding a 6 inch or larger smartphone in the same hand? Maybe when you are running out of battery? Just buy a charging cable dude.

I'm not that comfortable gambling with a phone because the screen is small and you want casinos to have their apps on a watch that the screen is very tiny. It will be a big failure on the casinos sides because majority of people wouldn't gamble on their smartwatch but with a phone or a PC. I wouldn't dare trying it because it will affect my eyes and it wouldn't be fun to me.

Ah, I see now on why you hate small screens mate. It is because maybe you have an eye issue, right? But not all has it, so it may still gain a traction. This is the real definition of gambling on the go hehe. I even think it is perfect because casino games are usually done by a simple button mashing only. What is usually the ones that matters in most gamblers are the profit and not really how the game looks like.

Although like you, I won't try this one because I'm a guy that is not a fan of wearing a watch, not even a smart one. It is only okay though, I mean because it may only be an added option of the casino and they will still be supporting other types of devices.
