It was definitely not Ancelotti’s idea to bring in Neymar, everyone knows that he had to give in to the pressure of the Brazil FA and sponsors. But to be fair, I don’t think Neymar really took someone else’s spot because Ancelotti will not start Neymar in any of the games, he’s probably only going to bring Neymar late in the second half against a weak side when they are already winning. I also consider this issue regarding Neymar's call-up to the Brazilian national team because in the past few seasons his performance hasn't been what it used to be especially with his current body which is quite overweight making it more difficult for him to compete with other players. Therefore in my opinion his name is very inappropriate for the Brazilian national team squad to compete in the biggest football event in the world. Ancelotti's decision surprised the Brazilian public but for the Brazilian fans it's simply a boost for their players. Having Neymar in the squad will undoubtedly inspire the other players throughout the matches from the preliminary rounds to the next round.

I have not been following up with Neymar, and I just found how that he's injured again.
Like, what the hell is going on with his fitness?. Even if it's not that serious, I honestly hope that it doesn't affect him during the competition, because it's usually difficult to manager key players that are injury prone.

That is a definitely a good example, but since 1994 many years have passed and football became different. It has became faster, new and more talented players have appeared. Today imo you cant win if you focus on one player in your team. All passes on Neymar, Mess and Ronaldo. Let them do all the work. What if they get an injury? Then whole strategy fells apart. Or you believe that one player can outplay other team defense in solo? Against some teams yes, but against all the teams?

I would gladly hear your comment on the following. If individual talent is so important, then how many World Cup have Neymar, Messi and Ronaldo won? Except previous 2022 where Messi was selected as best player, none of others have won World Cups. Where are World Cups if individual talents are so important?

I agree with you, you can clearly see it in Ancelotti's actions that given the choice, Neymar wouldn't be fielded in the World Cup and that's something that wouldn't just go away after this call up.
