Well to be fair, they also faced an opponent that makes it more easy to score against them, right? These 2 goal have been fairly easy ones, not something he should get too excited about. The "i'm back" shout from him after is a bit cringe if you ask me, haha. Obviously he had a lot of pressure and any goal would feel like a big relief for him, guess that's why he celebrated that excessively after scoring. After look on group stage performance, so far only Messi has performed as everyone expected. He has scored 3 goals already, while Ronaldo and Neymar havent scored yet. Neymar already got an injury, what is a huge minus morale for his team. I havent watched all their games so I have a question - is their appearance on worth taking a place or other player should have been taken in team roster by coach? After tomorrow match Lionel Messi has now got 5 goals in 2 match as well as Cristiano Ronaldo also spotted two against Uzbekistan in today match. So now only Neymar Jr has the rest to claim his world cup goal. These two Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo is already in good shape as well as playing on the field despite Neymar Jr has struggling with injuries suspect like at the beginning of the tournament he got injured but in today on X I saw news regards him like he is ready and will be available to their to paly his first match of the 2026 World Cup.....

This is the last dance for all these three like they all will be hange his boots and will closed their international chapter forever. To be honest this too emotional for all of us especially for GenZ because these legend are their childhood obsession.

Of the few matches I have observed in the World Cup so far, the Argentina team combination is the one I like the most. I think they decide what is going to happen before they pass the ball. In particular, many of them can be heard saying that they feel more comfortable playing for Messi than playing for Argentina. After Messi's hat-trick in the first match, Messi's two goals in the second match were really great. In other words, Messi owns all the two matches Argentina has won so far and all the goals they have scored in the opponent's net. I think Argentina is not second but first in the race to become the champion.

True, let's see how it ends  but honestly Messi doesn't look like he is giving up anytime soon as you said, maybe his plan is to also win this title as to keep maintaining the GOAT he is. But there is an expectation in Brazil's match today, that the rules will return, and Neymar will do something good in his first match. Neymar may not be at his best, but his presence on the pitch certainly excites his teammates. Furthermore, having Neymar on the pitch will certainly make opponents focus on marking him. Honestly I didn't know that that Neymar is even playing alongside his other team mate in this current 2026 world Cup, I read the subject of this thread again and thought within me that only Ronaldo and Messi ended up showing for this year's world Cup tournament, I was surprised reading your comment and realising that neymar later did came out for the game.

Well, maybe my reason for not knowing that neymar later showed was or is because I've not watched any match Brazil played since the world Cup tournament began..
It's crazy actually but I think it's high time all this star players know exactly when to call it a day, like I said some time ago in one of my comment on another thread, it's better for a player to retire while fans are still singing his or her praises than for him or her to retire when he or she has completely lost relevance.

Right from the onset, I knew Neymar's fitness was very questionable. His injury problems is becoming unbearable and I guess he doesn't recover properly before going back to football which may be why he doesn't delay to get injured again. I saw him on clutches recently before the match with Scotland. I miss him in the Brazil squad. Some Injuries keeps recurring and if he sees that his body can no longer carry the sports, it's best to quit, just Like Aguero when he had his serious heart condition. He still has a lot of life to live and shouldn't kill himself trying to force his body back into the game.

Watched the first match of Brazil during this World Cup and seen Neymar on the sidelines and just cheering on his teammates on the field while the match was going on.
Since that match didn't matter much to their standing in the group yesterday and he wasn't playing at all just goes to to show that he won't he playing in any of their matches no matter the circumstances.
It is quite sad that with all those great stars of the sport playing what might just be their last time together in the same tournament and he won't be able to participate for that one final goal.
