‎‎"can we keep on winning"? if what you mean is consistent win without losses, then of course that is impossible.
After every winning streak, comes them losses. Infact, to me it, doesn't matter if the losses are more than the wins, as long as you're not taking too much of the risk, and you have what you spare out to keep up with the fun. Enjoyable! The only time there's real problem with gambling is when you expect too much from the outcome, sometimes because you've risked too big. The "Never bet what you can't afford to lose" phrase is so commonly used now that I doubt one would still make simple mistakes about it.
There is severe misery about gambling but many of us might not really know about that. There is no way anyone can be gambling without losing money to gambling. There are different ways we can lose money to gambling and we might still not know what's happening until it is realized that every attempts to recover past loses is no more working.

Gambling is never bad as long as the money you lose is your own and completely spare, its your own money to spend on whatever you want.   The idea you aren't allowed to spend it is ridiculous, where it becomes bad at all is spending cash you cant lose.  Anyone who presumes they'll win is setting themself on a road to a world of pain, the mistake is within assuming you get back the cash you spend.

The fact that gambling is okay as long as you continue winning is a good idea, but not a realistic one. Not everyone is the winner and defeats are inevitable. It may be fun when you make it an entertainment and you just spend money that you can afford to lose. The actual trouble begins when you anticipate the continuous generation of profits or when you attempt to make up the loss. That tends to cause greater risks and ineffective decisions. Lastly, gambling never gives a gain without loss and therefore being conscious and disciplined is the only way to keep within control.

The idea that you are making money from gambling does not mean that you have to take it as the major source of income because anything can happen at anytime and you could start losing money to betting.
If you are making money money from gambling, it's better you have other sources of income too to balance it.

I’ve never really met someone who actually makes a living from gambling. I’ve met people who made a lot of money from it at times, and that’s a completely different thing. If you play smart, just for fun, and get a bit lucky, you can hit a pretty big win.But if you start calculating everything and gambling becomes an everyday thing, and you depend on a slot spin or a goal in a match, then you’ve got a serious problem. So yeah, take it slow, be smart, and keep it fun

Not going to crack the nut but he's right. Gambling is okay, fun and enjoying when you're always the winner. But that's a tale for all of us because everyone who gets to gamble, starts to lose as well.

You can see a consistent inconsistency of winning for most gamblers because that's how it is designed for. Even with that justification that as long you're winning, it won't happen not unless you are into winning streak and you decide to quit.

But at how much that would be? a million? more unlikely.

As long as there is never an overspending, no loan is taken to sponsor gambling, and the account is not broken just to fund gambling, whether winning or not winning, it will never be seen as a bad thing, and if you are lucky to get a winning streak, then what some consider to be bad is completely eliminated until irresponsible play comes into the picture.

Is gambling okay as long as you keep winning? An interesting take here by a gambler guy in the subway 58 years of gambling, argues that gambling was okay as long as you keep on winning.
I mean, for sure, it's okay if you keep on winning, right? But can we keep on winning? In the end, he ended up saying about the fun and enjoyment, which I think is a denial, he knows that gambling was bad.

Video Link

What's your take on this?

Gambling guy in the subway sounds like a loser lol. He's addicted to the game but never wins any money and justifies his bad habit by telling people he wins ever once in a while. Do yourself a favor and give the shit up. Only do it for fun on occasion but don't ride the same train he has been on for 58 years, don't you see where that got him? So many people turn to gambling, and why? Why the hell would you want to gamble away your future? Gamble away your talent and hard work in the hopes of winning back. Lets just rationalize it our whole lives in the name of winning every once in a while lol, sounds so fucking childish.

The only time there's real problem with gambling is when you expect too much from the outcome, sometimes because you've risked too big. The "Never bet what you can't afford to lose" phrase is so commonly used now that I doubt one would still make simple mistakes about it.
There are different ways we can lose money to gambling and we might still not know what's happening until it is realized that every attempts to recover past loses is no more working.
I don't understand how a regular gambler would gamble away his money, only to come back trying to recover them back? Which is easier, this or just quitting and saving yourself from the mental stress?? Makes no sense. Loss chasers are confused quitters.
Anyone who presumes they'll win is setting themself on a road to a world of pain, the mistake is within assuming you get back the cash you spend.
Everything moves well, until they begin to hodl on some shitty expectations.

To be frank with you, I have seen gamblers who are living from gambling and we can also see many of them online.
Gambling is not always giving the same outcome to every gamblers and this is why some gamblers are quite profitable why some are still struggling to make the money. The same can be seen in trading too. There are people that will not believe that people can actually make money through trading. Everyone with different ways they reflect to things around them and same is applicable to gambling.

It is a difficult thing to cut off the hand that feeds you. If as a gambler, and you make good money from gambling, I think their is nothing wrong with that. Gambling does not favour everyone, and if you are one of those people that gambling did not favour, you will definitely be thinking of how to quit. Most people condemn gambling, and the reason is because most people are victims of the problems that gambling brings. They have lost money, they have lost relationship and they have equally lost their respect. People like this will ever see gambling as something very bad.

As for me, I don't encourage gambling, the reason is because, I have not been favoured by gambling, and I have incured more losses than I have won.

Yeah, trading is basically a kind of gambling too , just that if you’ve been in it for a long time, you can make good money. I think it’s similar with gambling as well, but those people you’ve seen living off it definitely didn’t get rich overnight. It’s probably a small number of people who had enough luck to actually live and earn well from gambling. There are definitely way more examples of people who end up having problems because of it

I don't believe that. For one to be able to make a living through gambling they will need to make at least $2,000 a month or maybe more depending on where they live, it could also be lower based on where you live, but you get the point, and the person will need to make that much or more every single month, you can't say that I lose this month and win in the next month, because that can't be considered making a living, and one also can't say that they started with $100k, so they lose $4k or $5k some days, but then they make $2k the other day or something like that. The person needs to be consistently profitable for that, and that isn't possible with gambling assuming we are talking about casino games here.

I won't say that it is impossible in sports betting because I know that sports betting is not completely reliant on luck, and someone with enough knowledge and experience might actually be able to stay profitable in the long run, but with casino games, it is literally impossible for one to stay profitable in the long run, because you cannot be lucky forever, there will be times when you will lose, and that loss streak might even empty your whole bankroll.

The idea that you are making money from gambling does not mean that you have to take it as the major source of income because anything can happen at anytime and you could start losing money to betting.
If you are making money money from gambling, it's better you have other sources of income too to balance it.
As rare as it is to be making money from gambling in the long run, if one can be making profit based on their skill and luck, it's better to invest some of that money into something that could be given them a sustainable income than just relying only on gambling winnings, as the person might not know when their strategy will stop working or when their lucky card will stop winning. Relying on gambling alone can produce more disappointment to the person than the positive effect they are expecting.

It just sounds so tempting to believe that gambling is harmless provided that you continue winning but it is the rather dangerous way of thinking. Success may give an illusion of dominance and esteem and one may easily forget that gambling is a game of chance. Things are working out well now, and that does not imply that this will go on. As discussed, gambling is an insecure means of earning money because the fortunes are subject to change in any given time. A clever way would be to invest the winnings as short-lived and use the money to construct something that would be more permanent. Spreading income and limiting will help you to cushion yourself against the recessions that any gambler is bound to experience.

Precisely gambling is okay as long as there is a limit set because if gambling is not with this limit it will end badly precisely is to make us addicted to it so that we can experience many bad things with one of which is losing money with large amounts.
If you gamble by continuing to win tetnu course it's good because there continues to profit, it's just not possible not we gamble by continuing to win? it's like against established gambling laws that players will lose more often.

if you don't respect the limit you will end up using money that you don't have to use and consequently this will create problems not only for you as a person, but also for the people around you
It's not a good thing to involve others in your problems

just bet a little... you'll still have fun.

Is gambling okay as long as you keep winning?
No, no addictive activity is "okay" in the long run. Secondly, nobody is "winning" in the long term on average either -- there are very few exceptions, and they can be ignored. Do not delude yourself that this is something that you can do, you can't.

An interesting take here by a gambler guy in the subway 58 years of gambling, argues that gambling was okay as long as you keep on winning.
Maybe you should consider not taking advice by failed losers in life? Have you considered that "interesting take" by me and others?

Precisely gambling is okay as long as there is a limit set because if gambling is not with this limit it will end badly precisely is to make us addicted to it so that we can experience many bad things with one of which is losing money with large amounts.

Another fabrication with complete nonsense. Any kind of limit does not prevent you from being addicted and does not make gambling okay, it merely prevents out of control addictions. If a smoker is limiting himself to 1 pack per day, does that make his smoking okay? Does that mean that he is not addicted? Roll Eyes Don't be stupid and use your fucking head if you got anything more than an almond for a brain. Under no circumstances whatsoever is gambling good or okay in the long term, regardless of how severely you try to limit it and with what methods. It should be entertainment, occasionally and definitely not forever.

No one wants to lose because it doesn't come with a good feeling, if we all had our Way we would always prefer to win but that is not something that's possible with gambling, it is a game of wins and losses, there's no way we can keep on having only positive results. Losses cannot be eliminated because it's inevitable, the only thing that can be done is to cut down the losses that we incur by always practicing risk management and gambling responsibly. Gambling is okay as long as we keep winning bit we can't.

Yes, there are professional gamblers and professional traders. This fact is hard to deny. 🙋

There are games of chance where, in addition to luck, your skill, knowledge, and ability influence the final outcome. Take poker, for example. To win at this game, you need good mathematical abilities, an excellent memory, improvisation skills, and an understanding of physiognomy. These skills and abilities will allow you to win in the long run (although sometimes you will lose even to weak players, and that's normal, because it's very difficult to win in poker with very weak cards).

However, if you have such outstanding abilities, the question arises: "Wouldn't you be more successful if you didn't play poker, but, for example, started your own business?" This is a very serious question...

I spoke with professional gamblers who specialize in sports betting. They complained that they have a hard time making big money because bookmakers lower their betting limits.

Overall, even if you're a consistent winner, you shouldn't make casino winnings your primary source of income. And unless you're a professional gambler, don't fool yourself into thinking that random wins mean you're the secret grandson of the goddess of luck.💁
