Futures trading involves a very high risk, so not many people trade it as they see it as a way of losing money quickly in trading. Just see future trading like gambling because it can take money fast from someone just like gambling. Especially the newbie traders that will think of using $50 to enter $500 or $5000 position or those that are trading highly volatile coins. They will see themselves losing like they are gambling. Be careful of trading in the derivative markets.

However, newbies will not realize it until they will start losing and regretting why they risk with future trading. Yes, you're right, its like gambling, and if you're greedy like how most of the gamblers are, you will lose a lot from future trading, and before you knew it you have ruined already your financial goals and plans just because you are being so hopeful with it.

This is the reason why I don't encourage traders to choose future trading. The risk of losing is so high, that even professionals are still hesitant to enter future trading because they know already the bigger losses await after.

I dont recommend futures trading to any new member. It is gambling on the movement of bitcoin and placing bets against that. Then you have to keep paying to support that bet or else that bet is lost/liquidated.

The people who are doing futures might be making money, but for newbies it is a death trap.

While quite a few people here follow this narrative, outside this forum the opposite might be heard. This is because the affiliate marketing or exchanges promote futures as it makes good amount of money for the exchange.

Futures trading (or any kind of derivatives trading) is 100% gambling and sooner or later you will end up accidently liquidating your funds to $0. I have always recommended that people stay away from it. There is too much risk involved, and unless you can see the future and know if the price will go up by 1% or down by 1% then this kind of trading is a trap. Especially for people who are new to trading.

Futures trading is an opportunity but only if you know how to trade. Most people just rely on others signal and not analyze by themselves. That makes them trade in wrong and difficult to profits.

You needs to have skills to trades so you can analyzing the market and entering the market in the right time. If you can do the right, futures trading will be your ways to makes money but that needs more efforts to profits from trading so you need to learn more.

For me, futures trading is only risky if you are responsible in using leverage. I can consider futures trading the same as the spot market, only leverage matters.
And the most favorite thing I love about futures trading is shorting the market. Because if you are a trader, you can still make money if the market is bearish, like shorting the market.

The rewards are not worth the high risk that we are taking. Don't get me wrong you could make thousands of dollars from a small increase if you just focus on that, but the reality is that we are not going to see that be the easiest thing, and we should not be considering this as simple. Obviously things will change and it will not be easy but the forgettable part that many people care about recently is that even a small mistake and it goes the other way and your entire trade is gone.

This is not worth getting any profit, because you could be wrong even a bit, it changes daily and going down or up 1-2-5% or whatever is very easy, and highest leverage would cash you out even with a 1% mistake and that's not a good risk to take.

Future trading is not for anyhow traders especially the ones that like to gamble when trading without having a good chart to confirm their trades before jumping into the market to make money. A trader can easily lose money from trading in the spot market and when we relate it to the future market, losing trades will be fast as possible for a non skilled trader.
Trading should not be seen like a way to make money even when you have a good knowledge about the technical analysis and the fundamental aspect of the market.

Bro, it is a big risk, but you can be successful, depending on what success means to you. If you think making consistent profit is success, then you can never truly achieve it. Future traders always experience losses, but they manage their trades in a way that they end up with profits over time and limit their losses. This approach can make someone rich. People often think that with futures trading, if they accept the risk, they will receive a corresponding reward. But in reality, that is not true. Profit are not directly proportional to the level of risk they have to bear. You pointed out a very good point, I think not many people realize

In my opinion, the actual win-loss ratio is around 80-20 or 90-10, not 50-50. Because trading future is essentially gambling. Perhaps we need more luck than knowledge and skill to win

Futures trading can be either one of what you said.

If they do able to make money then they would definitely be staying but the sad fact on here is that tons of them getting liquidated and we've seen into those news or headlines about a certain trader blah blah liquidated of a certain amount. If we do base up the number of those who are making tons of money or profits to those who had been totally blown out then we can be able to determine on whose that more on such situation on which tons of them are losing because of the risks involved. So if you do decide to deal up with futures then make it sure that you will be able to handle up the risks and if you cant then better stick with spot.

I have lost so much money in future trading in the past, so i don’t always encourage people to trade futures if they want to trade. I don't see any difference between futures trading and gambling. In gambling, if you bet, if you win the bet, you will make a profit, and if you lose, your balance will be zero.
Similarly, in futures trading, if you enter any market short or long, if you are lucky, you will not suffer liquidation, that is, you will get profit, and if you are lucky, your balance will become zero. That is, if the profit is high, then your risk will definitely be high.

Realistically speaking, if there's someone who is highly capable with futures trading, he will definitely make a good living and enjoy life's luxury. But is it highly possible to win with futures trading? As far as I know, a lot have tried but majority end up losing.
