Using your brain and memory for remembering your wallet mnemonic seed (seed phrase) is only possible if you have only one or two wallets, if you have more than two wallets, this task becomes more impossible.

In addition, memory is short lasting, not long lasting so if you don't train your brain by recalling the seed phrase regularly like daily, you will forget it after some days, one week or several weeks. This raise a need of practicing with your brain very often, and I recommend doing this daily.

Even so, you will never know what will happen with your brain and memory and any accident might possibly cause memory loss, so let's say Bitcoin users should never rely on memory for wallet backup while I agree that if using your brain and memory as a supplementary wallet backup method is good. I have secured my seed phrase in multiple places, so even if one of my backups is damaged, another will recover my hardware wallet. The wallet password is only for protecting and locking access to that wallet in a device but it does not have any protection function if wallet seed phrase was lost to someone else.

It's cheaper and easier to engrave and is quite durable. We can purchase steel plates from any shop and write our backup on it ourself.
To write the backup we can simple use a sharp object like a nail or a knife or screw driver and then write the backup on the steel plate.
We can then cover the steel plate in a metal box and keep it at a secure location, away from easily accessible places.

Probably the best thing to back up your seed phrase for sure, I usually just put it on in my notebook but I realize that it wasn't really safe when it comes to fire, so I upgraded to something like this, a metal backup seed, not usually accessible to some on the investors and most are cost a lot in some brands, but I found some cheap metal alloy seed phrase storage for less than 10$ on some local platform here in my country, but it was from china I think, it work well i think but you could do some DIY buy some metal stainless steel cards online for like 1$ each and laser engrave it.

I think it is already great for newbies since it was just cheap, so you could invest on it already since it's worth the money in my opinion because it is your wallet backup, you dont want to end up some guy on the internet where he has a huge amount of Bitcoin on his wallet, but forget or lose his seed phrase because he lost his notebook and doesn't have any kind of backup. So I think it's worth the small investment, but still you could do any kind of backup that you want, hardware, software etc.

Actually, it depends on how many assets you have, if you have an estimated asset that can even buy more than 10 safe places, I think it's easy to own it.
Usually assets with thousands to hundreds of thousands of dollars are saved for the long term as an investment that is expected to provide tremendous returns in the future,
or as an inheritance for posterity that can potentially provide greater benefits later and choosing safe places or some Seed Backup really needs to be considered even though the price is quite expensive.

If it is too expensive, then use a storage and backup method that matches your capacity. It would be strange if you spent more money to secure your wallet, but the value inside it is not proportional. Maybe beginners will think more about how to increase the Bitcoin they have first before securing their wallet. 

However, both will be important to plan. Investments made will gradually grow. But wallet security must also be considered. We must not make mistakes due to our own negligence.

Using a metal to craft a seed phrase is good, but it's as similar as using a metal cage or save to store your seed phrase written with paper, because a metal cage cannot allow your paper documents to get burnt or allow penetration of water to soft and destroy your seed phrase, it will be convenient if you keep your seed phrase in were someone will not have access to...

That's a good idea but until now I haven't used a hard tool to write down my seed phrase, I still use paper and old-fashioned cellphones, and for a few years it's still quite safe, as long as my neighbors don't know I'm in contact with bitcoin it's very safe, if my wife of course I trust her, even if she will steal my bitcoin I will be sincere with her because I love her. 
I don't know, I haven't thought of using hard media to store the words, I'm still calm and there is no problem.
Don't forget to include CCTV to monitor who might enter your secret room, to anticipate other unexpected things.

It is a bad idea to memorize if that is the only thing that he is going to do and there was no other backup of the seed phrase wallet. The best method is to always have the multiple backup of everything so you always have the backup if something happened to your main seed phrase. Because there were advantage and disadvantages on each of the method of how we back it up so having multiple back up doesn't mean overdoing it. It is just being cautious about it and I think it was the best thing to do to avoid losing it since your always gonna have that back up. I still doesn't have the metal sheet backup and luckily I found a good one here online for a very low price on a accessible platform locally because platform like eBay or else have huge fees just to ship here in my country.

Although it's great, I don't think it's a foolproof and secure solution, because the security of your cryptocurrencies rests on no one but you having access to this information. So, it can be carved in wood, in metal, or buried in the backyard; it doesn't matter, as long as only you know how to access it.

I am still saving the seed phrase in the same way you suggested. My situation has not yet prompted me to save the seed phrase on a hard drive. For me, paper and a secret place to save the seed phrase are still safe enough. I maintain the most confidentiality when it comes to saving funds, one fund is not a lot of money. I avoid saving all my eggs in one basket, but rather create different funds and save funds in each of them in parts.

Although I will not tell you the secret trick to saving the seed phrase. Keep it secret from neighbors and relatives, write down the seed phrase in a place where it is always safe. You can even save the words in a formula or a hint sentence. Or you can keep the words in a picture that only you will understand.

That’s obviously one way to ensure private key safety, one that isn’t very common as compared to having it written on paper and stored away somewhere but, this is hardly a reason for the sabotage of seed phrases. The mode of writing it down is just that but, after writing it down, it always comes down to how you choose to store them. That’s the most important part. While, engraving it on steel plate might keep it away from fire, water and physical damages, it can still get missing. So, storage then becomes everything.

Here is an interesting idea I just had:

A multi-layered metal backup that covers up the deep-grooved seed from unwanted eyes and the seed can only be seen by shaving away the layers. To anyone else it would look like a chunk of metal- nothing special. The top layer could be something completely normal and camouflaged like a machine part, scrap metal or even a doorstop.

Getting to the seed could not happen by accident, making it so inaccessible means you would have to know what you are looking for.

Or is that just a silly idea?

As to the material, you should use a long lasting metal like stainless steel. I would recommend against using an expensive metal as it could be sold as scrap.

Laser engraving, of course. Everyone has a laser engraving machine in their closet. Or you could go to any nearby laser engraving company and ask, "Engrave this seed phrase with thousands of dollars in bitcoins on this piece of metal. Thank you.".

This is a must-have for beginners, as the cost of backups and potential financial losses are disproportionately high.

I believe that a section on creating backups, including physical (metal) ones, is essential to include in the "young bitcoiner" course.

Even a metal plate won't save worthless holders from losing their bitcoins, as such incompetent users will manage to lose it too. First and foremost, personal responsibility for storage needs to be improved.

Creating a backup (physically made of metal) won't require a lot of financial investment, but it will require some skill in using tools (and the tools themselves) if you do it yourself, but that's not critical, as everything can be learned.
