We have seen how a lot of people complain of losing their seed phrase, and that is why keeping your seed phrase safe is extremely important, it’s the master key to your Bitcoin. And If someone gets it, they can take all your bitcoin and If you lose it, all your bitcoin are gone forever.
So as a newbie coming into Bitcoin investment you need to understand this and keep your seed phrase safe and the best way to do that is by engraving or stamping your seed phrase on stainless steel just like the picture above, and the reason why it is seen as the best is because of it’s resistance to fire, water and physical damage to some extent.
So all Newbies should use this method, especially those who are planning on holding for long term, because it’s more safe.

Not too much though, just make sure it can be managed properly.. the more the backup the less ideal it becomes to manage. But multiple backups is generally advisable.

You can try multiple locations but carefully select accessibility and possible disasters that can affect such locations so that you won’t need up losing all your backups despite using multiple locations [ for example.. you risk losing all your backups when your selected locations are coastal areas]

Multiple backups are recommended because you will have better chance of always have at least a wallet backup to use. However, there are pros and cons, with multiple backups, you will have to store them safely and privately so make sure that don't make many backups that exceed your capability to keep them safe.

Because if one of storage location is unsafe, and that wallet backup is lost/ stolen by someone else, you will lose your bitcoin.

Passphrase is mandatory recommendation for every wallet.. But relying on your pain only looks like an easy way to lose your bitcoins.

Yes, this is a very good idea and if ever possible, I will use this method. Because one of the best ways to keep our seed phrases safe is to write them down like this. Because when we write them down like this, we will not be afraid of getting burned in a fire, we will not be afraid of getting the writing ruined, we will not be afraid of getting ruined by water, etc. We will be able to protect our seed phrase from many such risks. For those who have long-term investment goals, using this method of saving the seed phrase can be one of the best ways.

Like someone already mentioned, this method of seed phrase back is good for everyone and we can agree that it is more safe from being easily destroyed by fire outbreak or flood compare to paper backup, I think a high grade stainless steel can be suitable for this purpose because it is heavily resistant to corrosion and can withstand high temperature, however if one still careless about keeping it in a safe place, they can still lose their asset, that's why I feel it's always important to add extra security like pass phrase or multi signature to one's address. In this space, security is one of the ultimate thing that would let you rip the fruits of your investment without losing it to scammers.

No corrosion for that and it's sturdy that's why it's a good way of saving your keys in that type of metal plate or stainless steel. But you don't mention that to anybody in your personal life because you might be targeted of wrench attackers. Just keep it somewhere when no one gets to notice it and it is only you that knows where you're be placing it in your home. Since it is exposed and one who's got an understanding about seed phrases can easily take pictures of it if they accidentally seen it and then get out of your house and import it in their house.

I am having one concern here, don’t know how I haven’t thought of this before but then, we all appreciate metal sheets to be a reliable way of storing our seed phrase and the protection it offers against disasters like fire and flood.

Still, we must recall that seed phrases are supposed to be for our eyes only and the fact that, not all of us works with metal or can proper engrave on metals, this means you would need the expertise of someone that works with metal or does engraving.

You won't have to use your finger nails to engrave metal plates by yourself or any tools for engraving made by yourself.

The manufacturers of those metal plates for wallet backups will provide a set of necessary tools for engraving, and you can do that by yourself at home, secretly, nobody knows what're engraving if you don't proactively share it on media.

Back up methods are diversifying and you can use the ones you feel most comfortable with, don't force yourself to do something you are uncomfortable with and if you feel like you can make mistakes and won't handle it well.

No, they won't get their hands into your metal plate, you are the one that is going to engraved it. Unless you make a video of it and then someone was able to get it from you. Or you do an engraved by then you let someone watch it.

It might be expensive to buy this metal plate, but at least you know that in case of worst situation, you have a backup that can withstand fire and so you can still recover it. As compare to paper wallet backup or paper seed backup.
