I have witnessed this scenario several times as a gambler. There are times i will place a bet and sometimes it get to a point where I would give up on that game because you will see your bet going on the opposite direction. Yes, these are support to me on several occasions whereby I got discourage because I already sense the whole luck is not on me any longer because of the way the match is going, then later do I realize that at the last minute, everything suddenly change and I was optimistic to have a win, that is why until the end we can't draw a conclusion about any bet ww took, it is also one of the reason why they said we should only take a bet that we can afford to lose without much expectation on it to come as a winning except by luck.

It surely happens and most times it is very spectacular how the tides turn to your favour in the final minutes. I had an experience last year when I met a guy at a physical casino and he was lamenting that his bet which had an about 200X payout was almost turning red with only few minutes left of the final game, I offered to buy the slip at 2x his stake and he happily agreed, I was left with the risk of losing my money if the bet finally ended in a loss but I remained optimistic. The winning goal came in the 90+5 minutes and as I was rejoicing, obvious disappointment could be seen written all over the guy, it had dawned on him that he missed about 198X of his stake because he didn't have the patience to wait for FT.
His loss was my gain, we both took risks and I was rewarded the more.

I have not had such an experience because I am aware that a second is enough to change a sports match. So there is a need to be patient till the end of the game.  

I have, however, seen someone rushing into a physical betting shop to search for a slip he had folded and thrown away. He lost hope in the game and it turned out to be a win. It was difficult to locate it because there were many slips on the floor. I don't know if he finally got it since I left the place.

I cannot forget it because this is what happened. One of them was actually a 3-leg parlay, and I was supposed to bet for the Over Total score for the three games. I don't know if I did it half asleep or if I was confused because I was using two sports bookies back then. Left was over, right was under. The other site is using a UI vice versa.
The supposed Over Total score was mistaken for the Under Total Score. I was so lucky that all three went the other way, and I believe that will only be once in a lifetime for me.

When im still new on sports betting on which at the moment that i have seen the score is leading on the opponent then i do get easily pissed and make out some conclusions that this bet is over or already a total lost and thats why im not that finishing on watching it until the last minute because as the gaps of score widens then it do really give out that disappointment and anger and thats something that i do feel out when im still new into sports betting but as i do go on ahead and years passing by then i do made out some realizations that this is what we do came or do for on which we are really that making up some bets for the sake of fun and thrill. You would be able to enjoy on seeing or watching your bet along the way whether it would be a losing or winning one. As long there's still time then it isnt over and i had also experienced out with those bets that i thought its a complete lost but ending up on having some comebacks and made up some win.  Just done make things stressful because it would remove the real essence of gambling/betting on the first place.

No, I never gave up on my bet until the game is over.  We all know that the gambling result is unpredictable, so as long as the game is still on, I don't lose hope and give up.

It is not wrong to have hope, right?  Especially when it is just at halftime of the game.  I see lots of matches where the losing team is way ahead in the first half but loses their fuel when 2nd half started that ends up in a win from behind for the opposing team.

I've been in sports betting for years now and I understand what you are saying. It's true that there are times when I thought that my bet is a losing bet and just forget about it and they will made a comeback at the end or in the last few minutes of the game, though it only happened to me in less than 5 times but I'm sure it's one of the best feeling I've felt when it happened and it usually happens on my last money and on a parlay game. Seeing that some of us no longer use betting slips but betting platforms to bet, it would be hard to stop or withdraw from a bet that has already been made, unless you cashout the small deposit you made as the betting amount and that is not a win in any way but I consider such as loss.
Hence the reason why I stick to whatever I have already bet on and let it play out to win or lose in the end. The best thing I can do to correct my bet, is to rebet with a different formation or odds just to be sure I can at least recover the funds I already spent on gambling for that day.

It's just a normal thing that everyone wants a positive outcome from his bet and so, after making a stake, everything within the game that doesn't look like it automatically means that you're going to be disatisfied within yourself. I only bet online and my experience with this is that I always get tempted to cash out when I see my bets going in the opposite direction of what I predicted, if you are the type that's impatient you might end up cashing out and regretting later on. Anyone that gambles for just a small amount of time will have encountered this kind of regret. I have encountered this a couple of times and I end up regretting my decision after cashing out on the bet. There was a game I played a certain time which amount to 150,000 in my local currency but I cashed out on 30,000 because of the fear of the game running at a total loss.

At the end of the day, the total game played and my options ticked green, but I had already cashed out on the game. No, I don't use cashout in the middle of the games but on multi bets after the game ends then I may get the temptation to cashout instead of going for big win. I have won many such matches out of frustration. There are many matches where a goal is scored in injury time in a 90-minute game, especially in football, and my bet has been won.
